And before going, I did a lot of homework on top brands and models, and the top stores in Denver for shopping. I made a plan of attack to hit every mattress store on Colorado Boulevard in one day, with a specific short-list of mattresses that I had in mind to evaluate. I did not want to spend a lot of time on this. So, I decided to start at Urban Mattress to eliminate quickly as the least likely store to find what I was looking for, knowing really nothing about their own specific brand-- which had not made my short-list. I walked in and asked if they had any of my listed mattresses in stock. First off, I don't like being 'sold'; I want to be truthfully informed and then I make my own decision. And second, I didn't want to waste my time; I'm an in-and-out speed shopper. So, when he said they didn't have any but one in stock, I expected to turn and walk out to move on to my next target store. But he then proceeded to give me a sincere education about their brand and product. I was kind of blown away. I didn't feel sold whatsoever; I felt genuinely informed. And I tried several mattresses with zero selling pressure. I felt like I took my time, and asked a lot of questions. What amazed me though was the fact that they don't ever discount their mattresses; it seems they know what they've got, and they can compete with the big brands that seem to have to always run a sale. But what they do offer is free accessories on holiday sales, which for me is equivalent enough. Long story short: I chose a mattress-- which was LESS than my Tempur Pedic from 15 years ago-- and I chose my free accessories, I completed the financing, and arranged the delivery, all by right at the 1-hour mark from the time of me walking in. I was astonished. They disabused me of every notion I had about the "top brands" and had me confidently in a new mattress in no time flat, and generous financing, and generous accessory package, and saved me 4 more planned stops along Colorado Blvd that day. And they are the nicest salesmen, both on the purchase day and when I went back to pick up my accessories. And since delivery over a month ago, I haven't slept this good in A DECADE. My chronic joint pains are GONE. My mental clarity is through the roof. My energy has returned. I could not be more pleased with a mattress purchase, or confident in the knowledge that their warranty is 10-year FULL REPLACEMENT, not prorated like the "other guys." Run, don't walk, to your nearest Urban Mattress store. I mean it. No regrets. I know what I'll be sleeping on for the rest of my life: an Urban Mattress.

When contacted they were polite and sent (but we had to pay a fee of $270) a new 'topper' with more odorous materials AND it didn't fit our bed. Be warned and stay way. Avoid a $7000 mistake like ours!

He took his time with our purchase. He made my Mrs feel comfortable and payed attention to the details of what we were looking for. This was the 3rd stop in our search for a new mattress, and we searched no more after this visit. We ended up choosing a brand new line of mattress. When it came to working the numbers, Collin Watson is a no nonsense kind of guy. I do not like wasting time haggling and he figured that out after a very short conversation. Well Done Collin!!! After we picked up several items from our order, I asked about the status of a third item. I was told that it was at the Englewood location and was about to be transferred to the Littleton store by Monday. They said if i want to pick it up earlier from the Englewood location i can go there the next day and pick up before the weekend. I specifically asked whether I needed to call the Englewood location to confirm before making the trip. The representative assured me that it was unnecessary and that we could simply go pick it up. We drove across town, only to discover that the item was not there. Instead, we were told that it was being transferred from Arizona, not Grand Junction as we had understood, and would not arrive any earlier than Monday at the Englewood location. This was a complete failure of communication and customer service. We wasted our time and gas because we relied on information provided by the store's own representative. It is unacceptable to give customers incorrect information without verifying the facts first. The entire experience left me questioning whether anyone at this location actually cares about providing accurate information and respecting customers' time. Whether this was incompetence or simply a lack of concern, the result was the same: a frustrating and unnecessary trip. I expect better from American Furniture Warehouse. Customers should not have to chase down their own orders or waste hours because employees cannot provide accurate updates. I hope management addresses this lack of communication and accountability so other customers do not have the same experience.

They told us that because of the bed-bug, they could not touch the old mattress, they shoved it off the truck & left it in the street for us to remove ourselves. Mind you, the only person left to deal with it is my partner who is elderly. He actually fell for the hoax & they drove off. We thought one benefit to the over $8000 spend was that we could finally get sheets that fit since all sheets are now deep and we had a 25 yr + old mattress of 9" (NO sheets available). Surprise #1: it was a thin mattress and the sheets even bought from Sleep Number didn't fit! Surprise #2: while marketed as "cooling" technology, the mattress forms pockets around your body and traps heat. When brought up to a SN store, they said I could purchase yet another product to put on the bed that supposedly takes care of that. Surprise #3: Husband passed away just after the 100 day return policy even though we spent half that number issuing the bed. Can't sell it for much between what's still owed and the pain of moving and special assembly. Maybe right for some situations- just not mine. So not that happy.
