My husband and I went in the store to purchase a new bed. The sales person was very helpful and nice and gave us information about the difference in beds styles. We purchased a clearance bed. The clearance bed, was told to us that its an older model. It's a good bed at a good price. Sweet, right? I didnt bother to look at my receipt unitl the items were delivered. My receipt did state the bed was pre-owned. I write this review because what the sales rep fail to do was be honest.
Never once did she mentioned that a clearance item/outlet item was a pre-owned bed. Its part of 120 day trial.
Mind you, we bought a bed frame, pillows, sheets, matress protector and warranty. I called the store the day the items were delivered. I informed the manager his sales rep misinformed and mislead us into buying a NEW bed. I asked if we could return it and purchase a new bed. He said "no, Clearance items are final." OK cool. I am not really one to complain. But it bothers me what people do or how customers are wrongfully mislead for a transaction. At the time of the sale I was excited, happy we choose that place and was willing to refer family and friends. Now that I know the manager and employees don't value customer service, I'll leave my thoughts and referrals here. Oh yeah, one last thing. They sent me a link right away, after purchase, to add a review. It's a 5 star. Ask me if I can go back and edit it? Nope. Lol. End of the story. read more
