Matt was a life saver. After getting duped by another locksmith, I was referred to Matt. What a great guy! He came by immediately & replaced the lock the other locksmith had destroyed. He worked efficiently to replace the lock & rekeyed it to my existing keys. He even gave me a few tips & showed me how the process works. He gave me a fair price & did not try to take advantage of my situation. He's an honest guy who is good at his craft & enjoys what he does. Great experience! read more

My husband did not hesitate to contact MattLock when I realized that I locked my keys and purse inside of my vehicle as I was anxiously standing inside the Hematologist/ Oncologist office to sign my son in for his 1st visit. As I was filling out documents Matt came in with a smile, my purse and my keys and a hug. I honestly felt the tears in my eyes in this moment, because I just needed my purse right now which carried my sons health information. There truly are no words to describe my gratitude for Matt and his professionalism, dependability, and caring heart. I believe he made us his priority in this moment which goes beyond any words that I can express to you. Matthew you are a "stand up" man in a very uncertain world. Much appreciation to you and thank you for your services in our time of need. Yoy are a true asset to our community. La Tuanya Kilpatrick read more

Matthew was so awesome!! I am so happy with my service. I requested a quote and immediately, he stated that he knew what the issue was and could be there the next day. I had to request an appointment for after I got home from work. He was so accommodating and super communicative-- he would answer the phone, respond to text messages, respond on yelp. I was never left wondering. Something came up in my schedule and he was super cool about working with me to make sure we could still meet and complete the service I had requested. While he was at my home, he helped fix EVERY door in my house that had problems- even the ones that I wasn't concerned about repairing at the time. He made sure that we were happy before he left and that we wouldn't have any problems moving forward. He rekeyed a few doors for me even while he was there! I was so happy and when he left my mom and I couldn't stop saying how wonderful he was and how painless the whole experience was-- especially since he fixed everything we had pointed out that had issues. I will 100% be recommending him to anyone that has any locksmith-related troubles because there is not a doubt in my mind that he will do everything in his power to find a solution and provide great customer service. read more

I contacted Mattlock on Yelp after posting for gate repair services. Matt responded, set up an appointment was prompt, knowledgeable, professional, personable and most importantly of all fixed my gate at a reasonable price. He fixed exactly what he said he would, and made a couple suggestions with no hard selling. It's very hard to find excellent customer service here in the Valley and I definitely recommend Mattlock for any key, lock, gate repairs. I love supporting small businesses because they have a vested interest in succeeding and making their customers happy to grow their business. I Highly recommend Mattlock. read more

Matt is AMAZING!! He is Knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. We had a break in with squatters while we were out of town. Matt not only provided a complete walk through of points of entry for us to determine vulnerabilities, but serviced all items related to reinforcing/ / lock / re-key, etc. Matt separately assisted with our haul away process, and provided plumbing recommendations to fix leak issues. All around great guy, with reasonable fees. THANK YOU MATT!! read more

Moved into a new home and needed to have the locks rekeyed. Matt was quick to respond & extremely easy and nice to work with. We called Mattlock to unlock our rental car while we were staying at Mandalay Bay. He arrived fast and provided excellent professional service. I hope to not lock my keys in the car again, but if I did, I would definitely use his services again. read more

We were in need of a security upgrade to our gate. I called around asking for quotes and Matthew had the cheapest options by far. He installed a knob with a double deadbolt and did the welding of the lockbox onto our existing gate. It looks so much better than the rusty useless spring action lever we had before. We feel a lot more secure knowing that you can't open the gate unless you have the key. We can lock our kids in the patio to play without worrying that they'll escape and we can lock unwanted visitors out. Not only did he go above and beyond in his service for us, but a neighbor friend accidentally locked herself out of her house while he was here working and he let her back in her house free of charge. It was so nice of him and she really was grateful to not have to track down her sister at work to get their spare key. Overall Matt seems like a great guy, very personable and nice. I called him this morning and he got me in the same day and did an awesome job! read more

Matt was very responsive to my 1 and 100 questions. He came on time and explained all of my options. I had him rekey my front door, replace a smart keypad and review my ancient front door lock. I have been wanting to replace my front door system, and he explained in detail why I should not and how I could improve the stability of my door. I have asked the same question to other locksmiths, and they usually recommend replacing the whole lock system. I am very choosy about choosing and recommending any services, but Matt did great on my call. Needless to say, I highly recommend him and his services. read more

Easy to work with, timely, and got my door lock switched out perfectly. Will use for future work.

Matt was so awesome to work with. We had a semi-emergency with our truck bed cover that needed to get solved ASAP and he was able to work us into his day last minute. He got here quick, was super cool and got a custom key made by hand within like 20 minutes. Really appreciate you Matt. Thanks for helping us out in an emergency. read more

He was excellent! I actually watched him work. He took one look at the door and found the several problems with both the door and the lock and knob. He then methodically, efficiently and quickly solved each. For a very fair price. He was also friendly, personable and fun to talk to. He was able to explain the problems and how to avoid them in the future. He also had good advice and resources to share about locks and doors. He actually did more than expected. read more

I had a broken pool gate lock. Matt was flexible in setting up the time to come over, arrived on time, fixed the lock, and charged me a flat rate, which was exactly what he quoted me. He did say if the lock was broken and needed replacing, the cost would be different but that's understandable and he told me that upfront. That was everything I wanted right there. Then he went above and beyond by fixing the gate itself, which was sagging, and didn't charge extra for that. Finally, he gave me some advice on that pool gate lock for the future and sent me info about a deadbolt with app access for a house door. He didn't try to sell me the lock and uncharge me. Just gave me the info including where I could buy it myself and said if I did, he could install it for me. I am very pleased with his service and will use him again for any lock needs I have. I highly recommend Mattlock. Thanks Matt! read more

This locksmith texts me at 8:30pm two nights ago to offer a deal on installing two residential locks. I accept his offer. The night before the job will be done, I text him at 9:15pm asking a question if he will have long screws for the strike plate or if I need to buy them before he arrives. He immediately cancels the job because of the time I sent the text. I actually didn't think he'd even see the note before the next morning. Frankly, I think he was just looking for an excuse to cancel the job because on second thought, he didn't like the deal he offered me which was below his standard rates. In any case, I believe it was unprofessional to cancel the job. If you were considering using this service, I would be cautious of him not honoring his committments. read more
