They're located off the Katy Freeway near IKEA, on the south side between Wirt and Antoine. The office shares a parking lot with Memorial Tacos, a dry cleaner, and some boutique shops. The parking lot is spacious, so parking is never an issue. Inside, everything is spotless and modern. The front desk staff are always kind, competent, and welcoming. Their hygienists are amazing -- especially Shauna, who is both personable and incredibly skilled. And both Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen are outstanding. They're highly competent, never push unnecessary services, and take the time to explain everything clearly. I've been coming here for years, and they've redone a few old fillings from decades ago with excellent results. I always leave feeling confident in their work -- and with a nice little goody bag! The advice they've given me over the years has actually worked, and my dental health is better because of it. I sincerely hope Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen keep practicing for a long time, because I'll be coming here for life -- and so will my kids when they're grown.

She talks you through everything step of what she is going to do, makes sure you are completely comfortable, and is excellent at her job. Both dentists there are extremely professional, personable, and take care of your needs. Not often do people actually look forward to a dentist appointment, but I truly do, highly recommend!!

--Botched minor filling resulting in root canal--…read more A dentist (Dr. Gomes) at Midtown recommended filling a tooth that was asymptomatic, but had shown a small cavity on X-ray. During the procedure, he spilled resin in between two teeth where no work was being done, and ruined a filling. The filling procedure itself was very, very stressful, as he kept yanking the teeth apart to drill for the filling. The tooth immediately began to hurt once anesthetic wore off. The same office then recommended I come in for a second time, where a second dentist re-drilled the cavity and re-filled (which apparently, they shouldn't have done). Months later, an endodontist confirmed the tooth was dying and needed a root canal. Almost after 8 months worth of dental work, and several thousand dollars, I now have a permanent crown over my root canal. (Interestingly, the root canal procedure was less stressful than the original filling!) Many times I contacted Dr. Penchas, the head dentist, regarding these issues. He claimed that root canals are "a common complication when placing a filling" and that I had signed paperwork relinquishing my rights in such a matter. His only recourse was that I should come in and see him so that he could 'fix the problem'. Not being comfortable with returning to that office, I declined. And that's the extent to which he made up for the botched procedure.

If you like receiving blank bills threatening to send you to collections in a week over $13 or $50 for "adjustments that weren't made on their behalf" or "billing errors from YEARS ago" then this is the place to go. We won't be going back for this reason.

Depending on who's working (and it always seems to be someone new), I can be in and out in the drive thru in less than 5 minutes, or it can take 10+ minutes. And that's when there's no one in front of me. Every now and then I head inside to pick up some Advil, or shaving cream, or something my husband mentioned that we needed. The place isn't too bad, it's clean and well kept, but checking out can be a nightmare. Again, sometimes there's someone at the register who rings me up right away, and other times there's a line of 3 or 4 people in front of me, with no associate in sight. Those are the times that I have to decide if it's worth it to wait the 15+ minutes to check out, or if I should go somewhere else. I still come here, though, because it's convenient and in a fairly decent part of town. If you have a CVS card, you can use it when you get prescriptions filled and then earn coupons for other things that you buy.

Several staff saw me standing at the counter, but yet not a single person offered to assist me. Standing there definitely made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. So, finally I went to the front register to check out. I think the whole team needs customer service training and sensitivity alertness training. Bad ! Bad! Customer Service.
