The pharmacy crew were very rude. There were (6) staff working in the pharmacy. I was trying to pay for a non over the counter item. I was treated like I didn't exist. Several staff saw me standing at the counter, but yet not a single person offered to assist me. Standing there definitely made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I usually go to Walgreens (because it's closer to me) but CVS was available to take care of my vaccinations at the time I needed. Tamer took great care of me and was very pleasant to chat with and work with. He got me in very quickly. It was 6pm on a Tuesday when I came and was surprised there wasn't a line. The pharmacy team all seemed very happy - which is odd, because usually they have to deal with a lot of frustrated customers. Manal took care of my vaccinations very quickly. This is a really bad CVS that has rubbed us the wrong way, when we didn't want to get rubbed at all. It's one we loathe, and one which we really try to avoid. It has a lot of issues and we don't like it very much. Can you tell? The service here was consistently some of the worst I've ever experienced. Their treatment of my Barbi is loathsome. There's just all kinds of problems that we've found with it. To compound matters, they wouldn't let Barbi use the bathroom on any occasion she's needed it, and they never seem to have any of the things that we come here for. read more

I seem to get this very rude young lady all the time I come here. Today, I went and bought a DayQuil pack and they had a sale tag on the shelve. And when I told her there is a tag, she gave me an irritated look and asked for a price check. When No one came, I told her I would just show her instead. I showed that there was a tag stating that it was on sale and she started arguing that this was an old sale tag. I asked if she could honor it because it is there when I got it (normally stores would do this because it's their staffs fault for not taking it off) and I told her how they usually would just do it. She then replies "No, we never do that. This sale ended two days ago," in such a rude way. I was highly offended that are raised her voice and offered a very poor service. Obviously someone has been slacking if sale tags from two days ago have not been removed and if the cashiers will be so rude about it too. Okay let's start off with the fact that most of these reviews are over exaggerated. Yes there's self checkout and yes the guy was looking at you what what do you expect? It's a one line self check out. It isn't like Kroger or Walmart where they have to walk around. Yes it's poorly stocked but wouldn't CVS be at fault for not sending the stuff?. I didn't have a bad experience with any employee today, but getting upset because no one greeted you is pathetic. I don't care if they greet me, I'm there for what I need and ima head out. Over all 3 stars was good, I was only able to find half the things I needed but what do I expect this location isn't as big as others. Hey there! Downloaded Yelp specifically to write this review (: I was in an emergency earlier today and needed hydrogen peroxide. It was an actual life or death situation for my pet, he would not be here or would be in critical condition had I not gotten it. The woman working there today at around 6 or 7, don't know exact timing bc I was in shock (actual medical shock) and was trying to hurry. When I got to the front she walked away from me and two elderly people at the self checkout audibly asking for help. I frantically asked her to check me out, telling her it was an emergency. She scoffed at me when I said I really needed her to scan it as she slowly walked behind the counter reluctantly. She then replied "you really need to pay for it actually" I had something to say to that of course and she almost did not sell me what I needed. I had literally 5 minutes to get to my dog. I begged and got loud, if it had been any other time and place I would've wLked out with it if I'm being honest. She called me a bitch, she threatened me, told me to come at her, and told me if I were in a real emergency I should go to the hospital. Let me be very clear. I will be back to follow up with this report. From the looks of it there are several other customers making Yelp reviews about this establishment and the service. If I do not get Justice in this regard, if management does nothing to this woman for how she treated me in a crisis, I will take things into my own hands. my people, the people who love this dog and who are very unhappy with my experience, are not people you want to cross. The service here was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I am a teacher and went to pick up photos (that I ordered yesterday and got an email confirmation they were ready) during my 40 minute break. When we got there the cashier browsed through the photos and said they weren't there and the other employee said "if she says they're not there, they're not there." She then proceeded to tell me to plug my phone into the kiosk and re-print the photos. I did this and it took about 20 minutes. During the time my photos were printing, the two employees were checking each other out buying food and drinks. This encounter was prolonged because of applying employee discounts and getting necessary cards out from behind the counter. When I went to grab my pictures from the printer, they were not all there (thankfully I thought to count them) and then had to physically take apart the printer to find that my photos had fallen into a separate crevice of the machine. Wanting to be a good customer, I informed the employees about the printer issue. One employee replied "yeah I know that happens" with no apology or offer for help. Finally, all of my pictures were printed and my coworker who was with me asked them to check one more time for my photos. Low and behold.... they FOUND THEM!!!!! We politely declined the extra copies and walked away, only to get stopped by one of the employees and asked "did you pay for that" and we said "yes" and she looked at us and said "good." I am a long time CVS customer. I get my prescriptions filled at another location monthly. I have always had amazing experiences. However, I have never been treated so poorly and with so much disregard. We called to speak to the "manager" after and one of the said employees was the manager! Who would have thought?! Well, CVS is now officially the worst store of its kind- ever. A few days ago, I went in to this particular store WITH MY RECEIPT to return $27 worth of items out of a $97 purchase. I was told I could not return them because some THIRD PARTY tracking company has noticed that I have made a lot of returns. OoooooK - and so? I shop in this store 3 to 4 times a week..been shopping here for over 4 yrs... I don't shop due to the price.. I just happen to catch the bus.. and usually purchase an energy drink to sip while waitin... walked in this past sat nite.. made my purchase.. and after the transaction, the clerk said that 'for future reference, you need to leave your backpack at the register before shopping...when I asked said who..she replied the manager... I asked where the manager is.....over there....yet there wasn't anyone there.. CVS to me means convenience it's that simply, I don't know anyone who grabs a cart and does their weekly shopping here, so like many I drop in grab a few things ranging from over the counter medication to razors and I'm back to living life. I rarely try and analyze the customer service here or the lack of it because I simple don't care, there are hundreds if not thousand of CVS stores so if this one doesn't work for me I'll drive a few blocks to the next one not allowing them to affect me one way or the other. This is a review of the pharmacy, not the rest of the store as I have had good experiences with helpful staff elsewhere. However, yesterday I went to the pharmacy to fill a prescription from a workers compensation claim. I was there for over an hour waiting for the staff to figure out how to get the workers compensation insurance to cover the meds. Then after they figured it out, they realized they didn't even have the medications I needed. They tried calling other CVS' (3) to see if they had the meds I needed to no avail. I called the doctor that prescribed the meds and he found another pharmacy (a Walgreens) that had them in 10 minutes. Overall, this experience with their pharmacy was the biggest waste of time due to sheer incompetence from the pharmacy staff. Never going back there to fill any prescription in the future. read more

Summary: it's a long review, so if you're in need of a pharmacy that actually gives a damn it's NOT HERE. I had a great experience down the street at Medical Square Pharmacy (Wirt/Westview - 713-468-3236). --- Me: Hello. I'd like to wait for my prescriptions. I just had 4 wisdom teeth pulled about 1hr ago and I'm in excruciating pain. How long will it be if I wait? Pharm Tech: we are backed up right. Now. It will be 7:30 (3.5hrs). Me: anything you can do to help me out? I could really use my pain medication. My mouth is in excruciating pain. Pharm tech: 1hr is the best I can do. Everyone has your same story so sorry(really-did you seriously just tell me that?). She made zero attempt to check with someone to see if there indeed was anything she could do to help a customer out. I'm not asking for special privileges. If you're following "protocol" when you're backed up, and you have no provisions to at least check with the pharmacist or someone else to see if you can do anything when you have someone in pain, and the best you can tell me is "everyone has my story and wants their prescription now," and zero smile, zero eye contact or any sense of a desire to at least act like you care...I'll stay in pain and find someone who might be able to help me. If they can't..hopefully will tell me with an "I actually give a crap" tone to their voice. Sorry. I know you're a big box retail pharmacy, and it's awesome that your backed up. But your still part of the healthcare system. If there's really nothing you can TRY to do when you've got someone standing in front of you that's in pain, I've got no reason to take my business (in which I have 1,000 of options) to you. FYI: I went down the street to Medical Square Pharmacy (Wirt and Westview). Walked out with my prescriptions in 15 minutes. Everyone was courteous, smiled and actually seemed like they cared. $12 for 4 prescriptions with my insurance. My new family pharmacy...and I got to support a local business. read more

I used to frequent this pharmacy when I worked in the area. It's nothing special, but it's right off the corner of Chimney Rock and I-10 and fairly easy to access when you need to grab something quickly. The store is reasonably well stocked and I've rarely had any issues grabbing what I've needed when I've come here. The pharmacy is very slow, though. They've never been rude, but they've never been able to fill a prescription in under three hours. Considering the Walgreens around the corner and the Target up the road can both have prescriptions ready within an hour, that's a docked star in my book. read more

So I just left this location it was not busy at all. I was going to buy some things for the elderly people I take care of at my job. But i also needed to pick some things up for myself. I was going to pay in 2 transactions. And it was just a few things like 4 for my stuff and like 5 for my boss. The employee Kimberly who is pretty much always kinda rude and sarcastic when I go said it was company policy that I have to go back in line for my 2nd transaction. Note there was only 1 man waiting in line behind me and he had just got in line and he said oh no I couldn't do that check her out she was first in line. And the cashier Kimberly said no sir its company policy. He felt so bad he apologized to me cause he felt rude for doing that. Its ridiculous how after fairly waiting my turn in line I have to go back in line just cause I want 2 transactions. read more

I've been coming to this CVS on and off since it opened years ago. The amount of time it takes to check out is absurd the majority of the time. Also, even though they are trying to be helpful, make sure you are absolutely sure which medicine you need. A pharmacist just gave me an a cvs generic brand of something that I asked for. It was not what I needed (i realized this when getting home and comparing to my name brand) and they wouldn't accept a return, so I'm out 18$ and they could care less. Sorry to have a to give a low review but this is about the experience I just had, in regards to the service only. Store was clean and organized. I arrived early in the AM to buy one item. Waiting in line on the stickers they put on the floor to wait on. The girl behind the register continued to stock the shelves. She saw me there and did not greet me or say anything. I patiently waiting out of respect for her working and possibly wanting to finish her task (a part of her job). She saw me as we made eye contact. After a minute I said good morning and she quickly responded, "you can use the self serve counter, the one at the end." No "good morning" back. Normally I probably would but it should be up to the customer to choose this option. Also the self service counter that is visible says closed. On top of that, during these times many people might not want to use that and I would expect a cashier to well be training on customers paying habits and concerns. I was having some difficulty with the self-serve checkout for user reasons which caused me to take a while on this counter. I noticed two people now waiting online behind me and neither of them were greeted by the staff member while I was still in the store. I believe the customer comes before stocking duties, everyone should be greeted with a warm welcome, options should be provided to customers, acknowledging people waiting should be a general courtesy and that this individual employee failed to meet any of the customer service expectations one would expect. read more

This location has really variable service, both in the drive thru pharmacy and inside. I get my birth control here, so I come every month. Depending on who's working (and it always seems to be someone new), I can be in and out in the drive thru in less than 5 minutes, or it can take 10+ minutes. And that's when there's no one in front of me. Every now and then I head inside to pick up some Advil, or shaving cream, or something my husband mentioned that we needed. The place isn't too bad, it's clean and well kept, but checking out can be a nightmare. Again, sometimes there's someone at the register who rings me up right away, and other times there's a line of 3 or 4 people in front of me, with no associate in sight. Those are the times that I have to decide if it's worth it to wait the 15+ minutes to check out, or if I should go somewhere else. I still come here, though, because it's convenient and in a fairly decent part of town. If you have a CVS card, you can use it when you get prescriptions filled and then earn coupons for other things that you buy. read more

I appreciate that this place is open 24 hours; however, I have encountered some fairly creepy people at this location late at night.

If I could review this CVS less than one star, I would. This is quite possibly the most threatening places I have ever been. They tried to deny my wife and I bathroom access, after our purchase of $25. They claimed the reason they wouldn't let us use the bathroom was due to safety issues. If they were knowledgable of Texas law, they would know that they have to let us utilize the bathroom. They then attempted to threaten us by contacting the police, and claimed that they would inform the police that we were being unruly, and attempting to steal. On top of that, the man who eventually let me use the bathroom after numerous complaints, threatened me claiming that he would come after me once I was off property. My wife and I are in the service industry, and we are very calm people. The people at CVS are criminals, and we are contacting local media in regards to how they treated us. The manager nor employee would comply with divulging their names. read more
