Elsewhere within this listing, I have previously reviewed Mountain Motors on the basis of having sold two (or three?) vehicles to them, which has always been a great experience. A few weeks ago was my first time actually purchasing a vehicle through them. As I said with my review of three years ago, my selling experience was a 5-star event; now, purchasing from Mountain Motors has been a 5-star event, as well. I had reached out to Mark Parigan on behalf of my daughter, whose car was in very bad shape and with high mileage, to determine whether it was worth his time to look at it or if there would be a better solution. He was more than willing to look at it, and when he did, it was no surprise that he said either the tax benefits of a donation or even selling it to a used parts company would likely yield more money. We followed up on the parts company he recommended, and indeed, it was a better solution, but we ended up selling the car to Peddle.com for even more. Regardless, we appreciate Mark's honest appraisal and his providing contact info for the used parts company. Then, we turned to seeing what Mountain Motors had that might be a good fit for replacing my daughter's car. Setting some basic guidelines (no accidents, reliable brand, mileage less than 100,000, low cost), within ten minutes, Bob Mollet and my daughter locked in on a great choice. Feature-wise, it's a significant upgrade for my daughter and meets the parameters that I had set. [There was a second vehicle that both my daughter and I expressed interest in, but Bob was honest enough to dissuade us from that.] Negotiating a fair price was very easy, and no one blinked when my daughter said she wanted to consider it overnight before committing. The following morning, and with no last-minute surprises, we did the paperwork in 15 minutes or so and were on our way. Nearly three weeks later, both my daughter and I remain very pleased, and I've already indicated to Mark that, next summer, I expect to have my current vehicle ready for Mountain Motors to buy.

I met with my sales person Tyler Mccartin, we walked over to see the truck and right away I saw the front bumper on the RH side to be misaligned. At first I didn't say anything I just kept inspecting the truck. I asked Tyler why did the previous owner trade in the truck with so little miles, he went on fabricated a lie. We walked back around to the front of the truck and I popped the hood. Once I opened the hood, I could CLEARLY see that this truck had been in a accident. All of the fender bolts had socket marks. The hood bump stops had over spray of white paint all over them and the RF fender was poorly painted. At this point I asked Tyler what happened, he quickly got defensive and referred to Carfax doesn't show any accidents. Tyler then goes to say let's see if I we can make your a deal on a new one since you drove all this way. Of course they didn't have another white Raptor with the 802A package. Tyler's manager then goes on and says, how about I knock off another 2k on this Raptor. Why would I wanted to pay close to 100k on a Raptor that has been wrecked before.? As I'm walking out and getting ready to leave one of the sales managers walks up and says, "what about if we make you a deal on the RAPTOR R since you drove down so far and we have no deals going today". They told us since you've only had the car for 5 weeks they recommended we talk to Valencia BMW to help us out with this. It makes sense to me that we should expect a CPO car to not have a mold problem in the AC. I don't think this is too much to ask to perform a cleaning service to the HVAC system despite it not being covered by the CPO warranty. We tried to call Valencia every weekend but kept getting transferred to voicemail and never got a call back. We finally got the chance to talk to the manager today and he told us there is nothing he could do and we were offered a new air filter. So now we will be paying for an over $400 AC cleaning service on a car we just bought a few weeks ago to clean mold out of the air conditioning. It's a beautiful car but hopefully you don't mind it smelling like vinegar and old laundry! After the car is sold do not expect any service from this dealership. They even said I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket for the repairs... as if that's supposed to make delivering a damaged brand new car okay. I went to check the oil level and washer fluid (4/10/26) and at that moment I discovered the hood struts were shot. They would not hold the hood up. I reached out to Gregg(salesperson) and I told him the issue and he said to bring the vehicle in to have them check it out. I want to point out that I live about 65 miles away from this dealership and without traffic it usually takes 1hr and 15 minutes, with traffic close to 1hr 45mins. With that being said I took the car in today (4/11/26) and arrived there at around 9:15am and they took the car in and it took like 2hrs for them to come out and tell me that yes the struts were shot(shocker) but then Jack the service advisor told me the "good news" that they would cover half and I would cover the other half. My share would come to $450!! I just spent close to 30k on one of their vehicles and they refuse to replace a part that was more than likely overlooked before the vehicle was listed for sale! Keep in mind the car is also missing the cargo cover which they claim some cars come with it and others don't depending on the packages the vehicle is equipped with. My vehicle has almost every package except for the triple beam headlights and surround camera. That cargo cover alone is listed online for about $700. The car is also missing the owners manual (which is fine, you can download online) I just wasted 6 hours of my time for them to tell me they wouldn't cover it. Gregg is probably the only positive in this whole story as he offered to fill my vehicle before I left. Thank you Gregg for at least trying to make the whole situation a bit better. I give Gregg a 5 star rating but the whole dealer doesn't even deserve 1 star.
