I showed up to the shop 30 minutes before they closed and had the pleasure of meeting a guy named…read moreRick. He politely asked about my bike and how he could help me. I told him my concern and he looked over my bike right then and made an adjustment and told me I was good to go. He then answered a few questions I had about my tires, reassured my concern, and gave me his professional recommendations. My bike rides so much better with the adjustment he made and has gained a faithful customer out of me. Thanks Rick for the quick and professional service!

This shop is a joke. Was given a 2 to 3 week turnaround for a broken shifter, ended up taking 2 1/2…read moremonths. We were charged $1250/10 hours of labor after requesting a full motor rebuild, only gaskets and oil filter were replaced. Says he threw in a clutch but it is not on the receipt. Receipt does not even have his business name on it. We were not given a call when the bike was opened up to let us know that pistons were within tolerance and would not be replaced. He did not keep and show us any broken parts which is the norm for other shops. Charged for an oil filter... THIS BIKE DOES NOT HAVE AN OIL FILTER?!!!!!! Numerous parts hand tightened and scary loose, very very very dangerous. We now have other issues from parts that were removed and are very nervous to even ride it Now. Good thing we checked his work. Save yourself the trouble and take your money elsewhere!!

We don't have a reputable Yamaha dealership in Chattanooga. See my other reviews…read more I take my Yamaha to Ed's Cycles in Cleveland, and I'm about to tell you an anecdote that explains why. Saturday, I was supposed to meet my buddy for a leisurely ride up to the Cherohala Skyway in Monroe County, TN. However, when I got dressed out and hopped on to fire up the bike, it wasn't firing. That's the worst. It's a relatively new bike, and I just rode last week with Zero issues. But today it was wanting to start. It was warm outside (75 and sunny) and I keep the bike on a trickle charger between rides. It's a pain to get into the battery compartment, so I didn't check it immediately. I called my buddy and told him my problem. Instead of meeting closer to the route he rode all the way up to my house, which is the opposite direction. We got it going, but it was still cutting out on me on the way towards Cleveland. I told him we got to stop at Ed's. They have been good to me in the past and did my first service on the bike. We rolled it into their service bay after talking with the guy in the back. They ran a battery tester on it and tightened the hotwire on the battery. No more issues. Well, don't I feel like a donkey's rear end? Yes. So, I'm not that mechanically inclined, but nevertheless, they took care of it fast. I asked him to write me up a ticket for the service and he just shook my hand and said, for what? We didn't do anything. I smiled and thanked him. That's the kind of people I will take my bike to for future services. That's how business is done and that's how you retain future business. I said it to him, and now I'm saying it to y'all. I will be back. If you have 4 wheelers or motorcycles, you should patronize this business.

I wrote it all in my review. They do shady work! Charge more for parts than I can get online direct…read morefrom the manufacturer! Lose parts! Steal parts! I haven't proven it YET, but believe I was charged for services that weren't done.
