It was happy hour and they have 2 for 1. I ordered a mojito. The mojito came out with no mint. It tasted like lime juice with ice. It was green but I think they put food coloring or maybe some sort of green mixer. I drank about 1/4 of it and stopped. Worst mojito I've ever had. My brother in law had a vodka Collins. He didn't really like his either. We figured since both our drinks are 2 for 1 we wouldn't get our second drink and it would count as two. Nope they wouldn't allow. We didnt finish our first drinks and there was no way we were ordering another. My wife and sister enjoyed their wine. We shared a pizza and it was decent. We asked for water and the waiter brought out 4 bottles of water we had to buy. Every other restaurant or bar here has always brought out water without us asking. 3 wines and 2 horrible "liquor" drinks plus a small pizza was $90 US. Not worth it. Service overall was bad. When we were paying i left a small tip on purpose because the service was bad. It was around 8-9% The waiter comes over and says it's mandatory to tip 10%. Who does this? He is lucky he even got that. So I hand him a handful of coin pesos I had in my pocket and I leave. DO NOT GO HERE! There are so many better places in the area.

The morning menu looks amazing and honestly that is where the energy is. We both got the country soup. Good flavor, but lukewarm. Three stars for dinner. Probably a four for breakfast. We will be back in the AM.

It was definitely a different experience but glad we tried it. It was good. We also ordered their coffee while we were there and two guys with guitar was outside the restaurant playing live music. Service was great and they have open space with windows so you could see out while dining. Lot of servers in Mexico City speaks english but we did bust our high school spanish skills too.

It…read morewas a little difficult to get the server's attention for salsa and she did not explain that the green sauce was guacamole and not spicy. I should have chosen the one with chile habañero, but that is sometimes too spicy. The enchiladas in green sauce were simple and good, if a little bland. The Sopa Aguascalientes was served with the ingredients in a cylinder, to which the server poured the hot broth. Again, it was okay, but rather bland and the bits of chile poblano and corn were tiny and few. I prefer soups without cream, but at least the broth, as described, had only a little cream. The meals come as is, no bread, tortillas or salsas unless requested. Service is polite. The ambiance is the best part. The patio dining offers great views of the park and stunning architecture. An added plus is the absence of beggars and unwanted musicians. The vibe is casual, but this being Santa Fe, the crowd is upscale. Given that, the prices are quite reasonable.

It was super clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge, and the AC worked great! We stayed for two nights and had to leave early both mornings for tours, and the hotel offered to deliver breakfast to our room both mornings. Oh my gosh, it was so much more than we were expecting! We were totally spoiled. Great breakfast! The room was essentially sound proof and the room darkening blinds were a godsend. Plus they included complimentary mini bar beers and soda. What else could you ask for? (Oh and they bring you a turn-down dessert every night! Cheesecake and pastries were brought. Amazing!) The hotel's communication was impeccable! Always available via WhatsApp. And they also let us leave our luggage on the last day while we went on a tour, despite already being checked out. 12/10 loved this hotel and cannot recommend it enough! After waiting 15 minutes and being told to move tables, though originally told to sit anywhere I like, it was quite disappointed to see my order come out in to-go packaging. After requesting to speak with the manager, and clear up the situation, she neither offered to replate my meal (now cold) nor remembered to bring me silverware. Next she admitted the miscommunication on her part--providing neither an apology or discount for the inconvenience. Here I sit now with cold food and silverware I foraged on my own. Will not return. Oh and finally I was never checked on again by a server and had to bus and clear my own table.
