Almond croissant, butter scone, chocolate bunny cake
    Maritza N.

The server was really nice and patient while giving recommendations. Staff were helpful while ordering bc we couldn't decide what to get (everything looked so good!). The shop is really colorful and a great place for an afternoon coffee/snack. We ordered an americano, the almond croissant, chocolate bunny cake and the butter scone. The croissant and chocolate cake were really sweet but the americano helped balance that sweetness. The chocolate cake was moist and the chocolate moose was creamy. Def something I would get to share so I can try other pasties. The butter scone was a bit hard, nothing special but it wasn't bad. Overall, I good place to stop for a break while in Polanco and there are many choices for cute pastries!

The cappuccino here was excellent. Great service, friendly helpful staff who helped well. Nice ambiance. We sat indoors.

English: Matisse was a great choice for lunch. The restaurant has a very artsy decor. The staff are friendly and accommodating. That cannot be said of some of their customers but that is a different story for another time. I had the milanesa. It was delicious. Be warned it is a large portion. I highly recommend giving them a try. You won't be disappointed. They were very gracious working with my horrible Spanish and translator app.!

I only had the coffee, and tasted one of the sweet breads, but my colleagues had a full breakfast and raved about it. The coffee was excellent -- had a latte one day and an Americano the second and enjoyed both. What you really go here for is the ambience and service. Whether you sit inside or outside (I did both), it's just quintessential cafe. Music in the background that isn't too loud; the din of conversations around you. Lovely servers who balance between letting you have your time reading or being with people and asking if you need anything. I definitely look forward to returning when I'm back in Mexico City.

They have a pretty extensive menu and we were drawn to the omelets and chilaquiles. Also the enfrijoladas (like enchiladas covered in a black bean purée sauce). Everything was amazing! We also tried many bakery items from the beautiful display and our favorite was the guava and cheese croissant. Have you ever had the refugiado (guava and cheese strudel) from Porto's in Los Angeles? Yeah, it's like that but next level. Great coffee drinks and lattes too. Truly a fantastic spot!

The place has mainly outside seating, and we were fortunately able to get a table without waiting. I ordered a cafe americano and water, while the girlfriend ordered some juice. After perusing the menu, I opted for enchiladas in red sauce. The girlfriend got scrambled eggs. The enchiladas came in a small bowl, dipped in red sauce, with avocado, bacon, and topped with salsa and sour cream. The enchiladas were not as tasty as I hoped, they were rather bland. The coffee was ok, but not too potent. The ambiance is relaxed. Mainly Polanco locals come here, no bad vibes. The customer service was ok. They just need to add more taste to their food, and they will do better.
