Hibiscus and mezcal.

A cute restaurant just off of the Zocalo. A diverse menu with lots of options (even vegan). The drinks are great as well. We had the portabello mushroom burger which was inventive, fresh, and delicious and a beef dish that was beautifully plated. Drinks are fresh and amazing, too. We had 2 mezcals, a margarita and a mezcal and hibiscus drink and two mains and it came to about $45 before the tip.

One of my most favorite hotel stays ever! What a unique hotel! I mean it's inside a museum, so you know it's going to be good, but we really loved it! We stayed in suite 5. It was super clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge, and the AC worked great! We stayed for two nights and had to leave early both mornings for tours, and the hotel offered to deliver breakfast to our room both mornings. Oh my gosh, it was so much more than we were expecting! We were totally spoiled. Great breakfast! The room was essentially sound proof and the room darkening blinds were a godsend. Plus they included complimentary mini bar beers and soda. What else could you ask for? (Oh and they bring you a turn-down dessert every night! Cheesecake and pastries were brought. Amazing!) The hotel's communication was impeccable! Always available via WhatsApp. And they also let us leave our luggage on the last day while we went on a tour, despite already being checked out. 12/10 loved this hotel and cannot recommend it enough! Would love to come back!

Nice clean artistic restaurant.. Friendly staff and nice art deco all around.. Had chilaquile it was pretty good. The hananero sauce was not spicy what so ever. The side of beef I got was very tender and tasty.. The chicken enchiladas with red sauce was pretty good. Not a bad place to eat for breakfast.

This little hidden jewel is BEAUTIFUL! The location was perfect. We stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel was outstanding. The architecture inside was beyond my expectations. Emmanuel checked us in and assisted us throughout our whole stay. He was definitely helpful and accommodating. There are 6 rooms total and each room has its own uniqueness. Our room had high ceilings, beautiful art and gorgeous walls made of stones. They do offer wake up calls with a light breakfast and coffee in the morning, at your designated time. The restaurant is a must try! Their pastries were home made and their fruit is so fresh! All around, everything was delightful. Gracias

Delicious, clean, comfortable and the perfect spot to rest from the crowd with good food. Love the vegetarian options too.

We stayed in the neighborhood and this restaurant was near by and had good reviews so we stopped by to get breakfast. We got seated right away and we sat by the window where we could see people walking by. The menu has plenty of items to choose from and we got coffee and our food. The food was good as well as the coffee and our server came around a couple of times to check on us. People started to come and soon enough the restaurant was pretty full. I like the decor of the place since it has very high ceilings, paintings on the walls and a store right next to the restaurant that we visited right after our breakfast. Afterwards we did stop by their museum in the back and upstairs so if you have time visit it as well.

This place is amazing for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Also can be good for drinks or sweets only, really good quality of food here can't go wrong. Service is prompt and they have really good customer service. Emmanuel the manager goes over and beyond to ensure everything is up to par, will definitely visit the restaurant in the future again.

Love the shrimps tacos at Mumedi, they don't use corn or flour tortilla, it's actually something like raddish as the wrap. They shrimps were fresh and tasty. The appetizer mini mushroom tostadas were also really good.

It looked like your typical "hipster" cafe, but the food would stand up to any five-star restaurant anywhere. The first time we went we had a delicious sandwich of jamon serrano, salami and turkey on a multi-grain baguette. Delicious! The second time we popped in for an afternoon pick-me-up for a chocolate malt and limonada. We convinced our friends that we should have dinner here and we were not disappointed! From Arranchera burrito to enchiladas verses to fish and chips, all diners left satisfied! So much so, that we just finished breakfast there, our last meal in Mexico and, again, one of the best! Huevos rancheros to waffle with berries, accompanied by lattes, mokachinos and the tastiest coffee. Great service by Jaziel and Delores, gracias!

The decor is very nice and the place is very confortable to take a seat and read a book . I had breakfast there , I have to say the Matcha Latte was made perfectly and was delicious , everything is else was not so good . I order the waffle and they were terrible .

I give it a four because I think it is just me really don't like Mexican food that much. I got a chicken soup again and it tastes okay. I ordered the chilaquiles with the green sauce. It tastes good but after a while it gets so sour. And I usually like sour food. My friend ordered enchiladas de mole de xico. And he loved the more sauce way more here than the last one we got. The customer service here is pretty good and they have stuff that speak English which is nice. But you need to ask for lunch menu sometimes. Because we came to 1pm but they only gave us the breakfast menu which does not have soup on it. And if you get a juice here, they serve after you finish your meal because they treat it as a dessert. So do ask for it if you are thirsty. They did not forget your order. Lol.

Great spot

Great food, nice atmosphere and the people are friendly and a delight. Gracias Amigos, disfruten la comida!!!

I've tried several times to go there but each time I return they're closed. My timing is terrible! I'll try again in February. Wish me luck.

A little torn on the review since the service was quite good here, food was probably a 3.5, though a little issue left a blemish on my impression. The entrance is thru the elevator on the first floor inside the bookstore Librería Porrúa, you go up to the 3rd floor and arrive to a foyer area where to the right is the cafe portion of the restaurant and to the left is the sit-down section. Walking into the space the kitchen and bathrooms are to the left, a bar straight back against the far wall with maybe half a dozen tables in between. To the right about a 20 tables are placed on a split-level section under a covered rooftop open so all have views out over Templo Mayor. Retractable outdoor blinds line the edges of the rooftop to protect from inclement weather. Arriving at around 2pm, the restaurant was about 50% full though almost all the tables closer to the view overlooking Templo Mayor were occupied. The staff were courteous and professional, quickly providing menus and coming back to check on us. We ordered: - Conga (pineapple, orange and coconut with granedine) $55*: refreshing citrusy juice in combination mentioned, not too sweet which I was glad for. - Mexican craft beer Tempus doble malta $90: cool, dark and malty, though not too heavy for a warm afternoon. - Tortilla soup with tomato, panela cheese, tortilla julienne chips, avocado, pasilla chili, and epazote leaf $155: tasty! Flavorful and brought a kick with the chili spice, pretty mild though. Nice crunch from the fried tortilla strips. - Xochitl broth (chicken broth with "pico de gallo", rice, shredded chicken and chicharron (fried pork skin) $140: light broth with full chicken flavor, crunch from the chicharron. Would recommend. - Steak tips (180 grs) tacos with nopales (cactus pads) (3 pieces) $195: decent, good with the salsa. - Cochinita pibil burritos (4 pieces) $185: didn't expect these to be deep fried, flavor was ok though not sure I'd recommend these, - Rice with mole sauce $85: really tasty, we didn't leave a grain of rice! So the unfortunate that I had a couple issues bc service was overall good: - found a hair on the lime slices that came served with the tacos, I'm not a big stickler bc I get it, sometimes a piece of hair just falls down, not the most unsanitary thing that could happen. - what bothered me more was the placement of the bread rolls, the staff took each roll from a basket with tongs and placed it on what looked like woven straw coasters for drinks, they looked like they were just sitting out on the table for decoration, and not sure how those would be cleaned... If the above two issues hadn't occurred I'd be rounding up to 4 stars, though because of them this spot is a 3 for me. *all prices in pesos.

Amazing! Loved the view. Loved the service. Loved the food & drinks! Everything was amazing. Would…read moredefinitely recommend.
