On to some amazing places I ate at in Mexico City! The first place I went to to was @eno_mx and it was the perfect place to start my food journey. I opted for their omelette and added chorizo on it. The sauce that comes with the omelette is so full of flavor. I loved dragging it through and also incorporating the sauce they include on the table. I noticed (and loved) that it is standard that restaurants include their own sauces for the table. They vary in spice but I didn't taste a single one from my entire trip that I didn't like. I also got an iced coffee and a vanilla concha bread. This bread was AMAZING. Light, fluffy but still had textural contrast with the top cracklin texture. It was such beautiful space and I definitely recommend adding this spot onto your MX City trip! 4.5/5

Relaxed environment. Great service. Delicious food. Catch of the Day - 5/5 Torta de Higos - 5/5 Fig tarts are one of my favorite desserts and Eno has a very tasty one. The catch of the day was delicious. Light and buttery fish with a tasty sauce. Service is great. Nice spot to relax and work from or just have a meal.

We had a great brunch at Eno--it's more on the "upscale" side compared to street tacos and tamales. They have classic American brunch dishes, as well as Mexican brunch options, and a great ambiance. We had chia seed pudding, egg sandwich, ham and cheese croissant, French toast, side of avocado and esquite, lattes/coffees, and everything came out to about $65USD (including tax and tip). Would definitely recommend if you are in the area! We arrived around 10:30am on a Monday, didn't have a reservation, and were able to be immediately seated.

Eno is the best. It became our home base. Food is delicious and thoughtful for all, our kiddos loved it, we loved it. We ended up eating here almost every morning we were in CDMX. They have a perfect margarita. The service is so friendly and accommodating, and the general vibe is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Yum! I walked by this place one day and it was so full of locals enjoying brunch I made a mental note to come back. My friend and I came here last weekend to check it out. They don't have reservations available to What I could see but we put our names on the list and we're seated outdoor per our request in 20-30 min. I ordered the omelette and my friend ordered the huevos rancheros. The omelette itself was pretty ordinary, but the green sauce it came in, was delicious while not very spicy. It was soooo good I found myself scooping it up by itself even when the food was done. The huevos rancheros however looked watery and my friend did not like them, which is why I dinged a star.

Great lively spot for breakfast. Place was full by 9am, had to only wait a few minutes for a table. Lots of seating indoors and out, staff was super nice and helpful. Also the place seems to be dog friendly as there were lots of pups inside. There are outlets to work, but it's very vibrant and not quiet so I wouldn't suggest this as a place to work. I'd recommend getting the huevos ranchero they were excellent! I got the omelette which was average which came in this green sauce which was not spicy just light and was nice. Latte was average as well but came with a mini cookies which was really wonderful. I'd ask if they have a full size of that cookie! They had milk options but not flavors like vanilla.

I don't think words can express how much we loved having a hearty, delicious brunch of coffee, bread and Chilaquiles at Eno almost every day on our trip to Mexico City. They have delicious freshly baked breads every morning. Their guacomole was simple yet so refreshing like all other things on the menu. Highly recommend this place if you're staying in Polanco!

BEST. ENCHILADAS. EVER. Amazing service with super friendly staff. And the chilaquiles were also bomb. Spent the weekend in CDMX and after stopping by various popular restaurants, Eno stuck out for sure. Our server also gave us a corn pastry to try that was black. Not really sure what it was called but it was seriously amazing. I still dream about that pastry bc I love anything that's corn. Anywho, def check this place out you won't regret it! They take rezzies

Wow, this experience was so disappointing. I ordered the chilaquiles and they are bland and watery. I left most of my meal uneaten. I can't believe I wasted my only brunch experience during my latest trip to Mexico City on Eno.

Molletes with Avo on the side and green juice. Yum!

Ahhhh I love Eno! It is actually owned by Pujol's chef and they have some awesome things on their menu! My favorite (by far) is the molletes... it's basically bread with beans and cheese on top. It sounds way less exciting than the amazing taste it has! I also loved the avocado egg toast for breakfast. Lastly, all their juices are excellent. Must try in CDMX.

Had the french toast. It was good. Loved the orange juice. There can be a wait depending what time you go. They let people bring their dogs in. No free refils.

I came here for breakfast. The chia pudding was ok. The sweet bread was decent. The matcha latte was not good at all.

I love a tasting menu, and a showcase of a chef and kitchen's talents. This is the perfect type of thing to highlight the pride and creativity of Mexican cuisine; you are in one of the greatest food cities in the world. The interior is like a comfy Mexican study. The staff is attentive and considerate; generous with their recommendations and hospitality. They even called to give us some instructions cause of a protest across the street at the Venezuelan embassy for easier access. Our courses were absolutely delicious. My wife and mother-in-law got the 6-course tasting menu and I went with the 9. If you like a tasting menu or want to introduce someone to the experience, Raiz does not disappoint. The amuse bouche is one of my favorites, cause I love looking at people's faces when they get such a small appetizer. I am not going to post all of the dishes here, cause part of the experience is the sensory look of the plates, but I will say the pork belly and escamole were two of my favorites. I will also say that the tasting menu portions were generous. If you're celebrating a special occasion or want to dip a toe into all that CDMX has to offer, give Raiz a try - they are wonderful. Being from California, I was surprised to hear that they opened their newest location at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas last month. We ordered the tuna tostada that people rave about. It was ok. We could have used some more assertive flavor from acid or spice. I couldn't eat a whole fish (their signature dish), so we went with shrimp in their adobo rub in a taco and fish al pastor. These were also just ok, but the price tags are high for their entrees. I've seen pictures of others fish al pastor with onions and cilantro and that certainly would have added something I felt was missing. The one thing we ordered and loved was their seasonal mackerel ceviche which was in an apple/citrus/olive oil sauce. It was unique and delicious. I think their ceviche and aguachile are probably their strengths, but the cost is pretty high to leave feeling underwhelmed. Honestly, we will be going back to mi compa chava for better seafood
