We found Step To Success tutoring center when we were looking for help for our then 11 year old…read moredaughter who was struggling in school. Most centers that we talked to were either "one size fit all" type or would require a second mortgage to afford with no guarantees of success. Diane, the owner of the center, offered customized schedule and very fair pricing while making sure that our daughter was getting personalized program, which was also flexible enough to be adjusted as needed based on the school load. In one semester we noticed the grades going up and overall comprehension improving drastically. As she was getting older and was getting introduced to more subjects in school, Diane and other tutors at the center were able to adjust accordingly and make sure that everything that she was struggling with at school were addressed. Our daughter is now entering High School and we have all the intentions of continuing Tutoring at Step to Success to help her navigate through it. Flexibility of the program, personal attention to students and staff's knowledge and experience with school curriculum and methods used in Colorado public schools is what makes this program stand out from competition.

She is young for her grade and she was anxious to learn how to read and she felt behind at school. She quickly went from behind in reading to far surpassing her peers. Since she is doing so well in reading now, we've added in math instruction that we alternate day by day. My daughter hates doing homework but she LOVES going to see Ms. Diane. She has a way of motivating her students and teaching them a love of learning. Since her operation is small, she gives lots of one-on-one attention to each child. She uses a combination of fun and engaging online lessons, worksheets, and individualized instruction. You can tell that she deeply cares for each of her students and wants to see them succeed. I can't say enough good things about this place, it's the best tutoring place around!

My kids (ages 6 and 8) have attended camps during spring break and summer and they both LOVE it!…read moreThey offer small group, hands-on activities with different themes every week. The staff are all friendly and Ms. Idil who runs it is very knowledgeable and good with the kids. She even recognized that my son has a knack and love for math and offered to provide him some extra worksheets to keep his mind challenged during the summer months. Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the camps are only from 9a-3p and I have to pay extra to be able to have them there from 8a-4p (and even that requires that my husband and I split drop-off and pick-up to accommodate our 8-hour work days). If I could give 4.5 stars, I would :-) (Note that I am not offering a review on their tutoring services, only the camps)

I completely agree with the prior review: my kids have not taken tutoring here but did attend camp…read more My 5yo and 6yo really enjoyed the camp and want to attend on the next break. I appreciate that the camps are fun and educational, and I also appreciate that the attendees are diverse. The camps are pricier than others in the area, but they also have a small student-to-staff ratio of 6:1 that I prefer. (I find that larger ratios mean that well-intentioned adults don't always know what all the kids are saying/doing and my little ones pick up habits that I don't like). I also echo the challenge with the camp hours: 8am-4pm (with an extra daily cost for this extended care rather than 9am-3pm standard hours) is tricky for working parents. Even though the hours aren't ideal, we'll be sending our kids here again.
