My son is advanced with math but has problems taking tests and both tutors have taken the time to troubleshoot and give us ideas on how to combat the problem. As licensed teachers they are both adept at dealing with different learning styles and truly understand how to teach and how to hold the attention of the kids they tutor. I appreciate that the camps are fun and educational, and I also appreciate that the attendees are diverse. The camps are pricier than others in the area, but they also have a small student-to-staff ratio of 6:1 that I prefer. (I find that larger ratios mean that well-intentioned adults don't always know what all the kids are saying/doing and my little ones pick up habits that I don't like). I also echo the challenge with the camp hours: 8am-4pm (with an extra daily cost for this extended care rather than 9am-3pm standard hours) is tricky for working parents. Even though the hours aren't ideal, we'll be sending our kids here again.
