Shout out to Angie and the Tutor Doctor gang…read more In the fall as Covid and online learning drug on, we were pulling out our hair trying to get middle schooler and elementary schooler to engage in classes and complete assignments. Both kiddos who typically do well in school were struggling. When we engaged Tutor Doctor, they answered all our questions and matched us with an amazing tutor, Angie. Angie comes to our house. She helps our middle-schooler with 7th grade pre-algebra, Spanish, and paragraph structure and CERs for language arts. She then assists our 3rd grader with spelling, handwriting, and division. When she the kids transitioned back to in-person school she was able to pivot teaching styles. It's been so easy and incredible to have one tutor that is able to help our two kids at our house.

My daughter loves to go there and has even enjoyed everything Barbara has taught her! Her grades have never been better and Barbara takes the time that is needed to make sure my daughter understands what is being taught before moving on to the next thing. She has really built up my daughters self esteem! We are sticking with Barbara/SpiderWebb until my daughter graduates! Much thanks to Barbara for providing a very comfortable atmosphere, as it's a relief to know that my daughter is in THE BEST of hands! What a wonderful lady she is and is the apple of my daughters eye! I am forever grateful! Thank you Barbara!!

We engaged Mike to assist with our high school daughter who is currently enrolled in Trigonometry…read more Up until recently she was always an "A" student, but was having an issue with the recent material. Mike spent the first session reviewing what she already knew to get a good understanding of where her core weaknesses were. He then went back a few chapters to review some of the core concepts he felt she was lacking before moving to the current material. This allowed her to gain a REAL understanding of the concepts instead of just practicing memorization. Mike also helped her develop better study habits and take better notes during lectures. I am happy to report that she got an A on her last exam! With her study habits corrected, Mike doesn't need to come by as often now, but we do still conduct regular appointments so that we are sure she is on track and to make sure her understanding is where it should be. We really like that he comes to our home and it works out great for our schedule as well as helping our daughter feel more comfortable. I can't imagine another tutor being any more professional or knowledgeable than Mike.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to hone a specific skill, he will guide you in the most helpful way. He breaks down notes and rhythms into manageable, easy-to-understand segments, and provides detailed notes from each session to practice further at home. Nick is very well-equipped and always ready to address all my questions. His teaching will broaden your musical knowledge and library. He will make the learning drums so exciting. Our goal was to give our kids access to great tutors to increase their chances of receiving merit…read morescholarships. Both of our kids were tutored by different instructors at Moser and both had a GREAT experience. Scott asked a lot of questions about each student to understand their disposition, the way they learn, how much pushing they needed to study, etc. They were matched with very different instructors and both were patient, respectful, and clear in their teaching. Going into the college prep season with our older student, we were all a bunch of nerves. However, during the tutoring process, we collectively relaxed because our son became confident in his abilities to take the tests effectively. Both of our kids' scores were impressive, much higher than before the tutoring. As it turned out, they both did receive merit scholarships at their desired universities. Even if they had not, I think the confidence it gave each of them was well worth the price.
