I was referred to Chris Mathis at Mathis Pools when looking for someone to repair my pool sweep. Chris was nice enough to come over and do a consult and try to identify my problem without charging me. He gave me some pointers to fix my problem. I went ahead and ordered the parts, but unfortunately for me, I still couldn't fix the problem. He had definitely identified the issue, but the replacement parts that I bought on Amazon were garbage 3rd party parts (who knew!!). He came out a week later and took my sweep home and put the RIGHT parts into it and it works like a charm now. Chris was thorough, professional, and got the job done. Chris Mathis is a true professional. He is very punctual, technically skilled and courteous. Yesterday Chris was referred to me to come and work on my pool system that I had recently put quite a bit of work into. I had a significant water flow issue that had me stumped as well as my Sun Touch control box didn't seem to be performing as it should. Chris quickly identified a In-line filter that happened to be clogged. That solved the water flow issue immediately which also solved the pool sweep unit to work properly. Additionally he reprogrammed my Sun Touch control box and has it working at a level that it hasn't been working in several years. You ROCK Chris! Got a referral from Clinton Koppet's pool service in El Dorado hills for Mathis Pools to help me with my pool pump. I called him and he called me right back and went by that day to take a look at it. I was given a quote by another pool service for $300-$400. Chris fixed it for less than half of that. He was professional and has great follow up. I used to have issues with sand and dirt in my pool and asked Chris for help with it. Chris came and exchanged my sand filter for a new cartridge filter. The pool has been blue and clear ever since.
