Though I've never been tested for it, I check right down the list for it as I've struggled with math all my life. I was trying to pass the West B teacher certification and had taken the math portion already five times and failed when Dimona was recommended to me. I was hesitant because I had been informally tutored with several math teachers that I knew preparing for this test. I went ahead and booked my first session with her. From the first session, I knew this time would be different, as she talked about understanding how I saw thing visually and my struggle was how math had been taught to me in the past. We started fresh and built a foundation. I understood concepts for the first time because of the way she broke them down. If I was struggling with a concept, she tried several ways to explain it better to me. She was patient and compassionate with my comprehension or lack of it when I wanted to quit. She cheered me on and reassured me I could pass this test and understand so much more than I ever thought I could! The next time I took the test, I passed it!
