I actually went back to college and am currently attending FAST Class/BSEP. The counselors, teachers, facilities, resources and students are great. I love how this place offers more than just college but can assist in everyone in many ways. I've not only been here to attend classes but to give them as well. Stone Education Center has a great amount of classrooms available for people if they need to teach classes, or need computers to use, it's great. I've probably reserved a room here almost every other month for classes I needed to give. (THANK YOU MR. CASTRO FOR ALWAYS HELPING ME OUT!) Some of the services available include career planning and education counseling, five on-post colleges and universities, as well as access to 19 different off-post colleges. The Ed Center also offers test proctoring for those students enrolled in online courses. There is also a digital library for soldiers who are looking for a specific Army manual. There is a nice computer lab on the second floor and anyone with a valid military ID can utilize the computers and print documents. The MWR Bookstore is located on the first floor and allows college students the opportunity to purchase textbooks and school supplies. The staff at the bookstore are very friendly and helpful. Battle Bean Coffee Shop is right next to the bookstore and offers a variety of coffee and snacks. Parking is ample and convenient. For those who are utilizing the Fort Lewis Shuttle, the shuttle stop is directly in front of Stone Education Center.

They constantly have someone cleaning up any poop from the animals, it's just a Betty lovely experience and the most popular thing at our parties.

When I was able to start my studies again I was faced with expired but you can renew it by paying nearly the same amount to extend for 90 days! I sent a message requesting they consider reducing that if possible. I was barely into month seven at the time. After a few days of no response I sent another message expressing my disappointment that I had not received a response good or bad. After waiting a few more days it was time - I have since purchased the class I needed for less money through another provider. My clientele have always received same day responses! I have no patience for a company that offers "No customer service!

The Cedar River Watershed Education Center is located just down the road from Rattlesnake Lake. I…read morecame here with a friend on the 25th of August 2018 to do some exploring and learn about the watershed in Western Washington. The presentation of information was well done. Some sections were also very interactive! When we entered one area we picked up a ball. We then proceeded through the area putting our ball in different tubes depending on what water pathway we wanted to learn about and the ball would levitate/flow to the next station corresponding to a next stop on the water cycle or something of the like. That was very neat! I could easily see spending a few hours here. We rushed it a little, but it was still fun. The graphics for understanding the local watershed were very cool. Videos complemented a light up topographic model of the area and we got to see where our fresh water supply comes from. There was also information available about individual water towers in the Puget Sound area and we found one of the ones we had both driven past growing up. Informational brochures and handouts were available with water quality reports and tips for different water related issues such managing storm water. A very enjoyable and informative place to visit.

I figured I'd give it one more shot now that we recently moved from Bellevue to the Plateau/Highlands area. I purchased a bargain voucher for six sessions for one subject, admittedly not expecting much. (hint: their name ends with "on") Originally learned about this BIC location during kids' swimming class when I saw a pair of third graders doing their BIC tutoring homework in the bleachers. When I ran into a former neighbor of mine on our second week, I knew I might be onto something. The Issaquah location is open three times a week (Tue, Thur, Sun) and is managed by Mr Victor Ho. Victor also started a new Wednesday sessions at the EX3 Teen & Rec Center on the Samm. Plateau. BIC "Enrichment Courses" are divided into English and Math subject. Each session is 75 minutes long for one subject. Victor Students seems to be grouped by age/grade You have several students under the supervision of an adult teacher, and the students are expected to work on their own, "study hall" style, until they are stuck or otherwise have a question. Private tutoring this is not. Most of the hard work is at home, where the parents have to establish ad maintain a daily study routine for each kid. I've also noticed lot of anxious parents prepping their 6-8 year olds for the Cogat and achievement exams (I'm no sure if the latter is ITBS or Stanford10). Basically it's whatever BSD, ISD and LWSD are dishing out. I have no opinion on this particular offering, other than that it's popular and probably worth checking out if that's your focus. Ultimately, what sets the Issaquah operation apart is the dedication and accessibility of the branch manager, who has been receptive to and patient with my many questions and concerns about our kids progress (or sometimes, the lack thereof). Victor has been willing to tweak things so we can emphasize topics where there are gaps in understanding or merely insufficient mastery. Vic is also eager to hear about any errors / typos in the problem sets, as well as of any subpar tutoring sessions. As you'd expect, the tutoring competition is stiff on the Eastside but they seem to be thriving. Don't let their unassuming exterior and frankly, dingy interior fool you -- what they save on rent / furniture, they pass on the savings to you! (Seriously, BIC rates are lower than our previous tutoring programs.) This is a system that appears to be working for our children.

The Tutoring center were very good about providing a clear plan and structure for her to follow and helped develop her foundation skills and then got her up to speed on the lessons. The kids who were the tutors were goofing around instead of helping her. It's great that they are trying to teach the teens responsibility by having them tutor, but they need supervision. We talked to them several times about this and each time they promised to fix it, with no improvement. In short the tutors are just high schoolers, and without supervision they are just babysitters. My daughter was so excited to get her grades up, and was crushed that they let her down.

I would never recommend this place, not even to my worst enemy.
