(Okay, you called my bluff! Yes, we did.) Firstly, Center Diamond has a fabulous selection of fabrics and the prices are more reasonable than you'd expect. The fabric is sorted into themes and by color-- a feast for the senses! Maybe it's because I've spent most of my time at Joanns (R.I.P.) I was delightedly surprised that they carry flour sack towel fabric. It had never occurred to me to make my own kitchen towels! They have an extensive variety of tools and notions as well as fun vinyl decals to showcase one's sewing love. There's a great selection of patterns with finished samples for inspiration and several kits and a mahoosive selection of stackers, fat quarters, and jelly rolls. The staff was wonderful here! They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and fun. We bought a pattern and they even printed it out for us. My daughter and I can't wait to return! If you're a fabric crafter, do yourself a favor and stop into Center Diamond, you won't be disappointed!

They have a nice selection of fabrics and accessories. We also loved going through all their clearance items. In addition to fabric and sewing items, they also sell Husqvarna machines and have sewing foot and items for those machines. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The tags, my task, were just good fun. Lots of room to be creative and simple to complete without assistance. The passport covers were another story. The other 2 needed assistance a lot, especially during the stitching, which took quite a bit of time and was a tad hard on their hands. The employees were more than willing to provide the assistance they needed though. There were definitely a couple other crafts I would've enjoyed trying. Fabulous concept, pleasant employees, and a cool way to spend a few hours...especially for those of us very much out of our comfort zone.
