Ok, well that makes sense so how about you come meet my dog then tell me about the program. No go. They want money upfront and will not tell you anything about how many times a month they'll be working with you and your pooch. I even asked "So you are saying you may only see my dog two times in tehwhole year?" Then they started getting snarky. See below...

Do not waste your money! Bark Busters is a scam. I'm not even sure the trainers are well trained. I…read moreadopted a dog, a mix husky/pit bull who's been abandoned by previous owner and was found on the streets of Seattle. Not sure of my dog's background but he clearly has PTSD. He's aggressive towards other dogs and he's protective of food. Jordan recommended we use one of Bark Busters's harness which I paid a fortune for it but since my dog's behavior was not improving, he then recommended we use a prong collar as my dog is quite strong due to his mix breeds. At first, it worked since my dog got hurt every time he would try lunging at other dogs. But he got used to the collar. His pain tolerance is quite high as he's mainly husky. But after a while, my dog had even more aggressive behaviors and he got very frustrated at me while walking, jumping on me. He also started getting into this trance when he was seeing or even just smelling another dog. When in trance, I couldn't touch him or he would try to bite me. I made a lot of research and in fact prong collars shouldn't be used with dogs with PTSD. It makes their anxiety and fear even worse. I wasn't keen on using a prong collar in the first place but I thought Jordan knew what he was doing. Also, I paid for a year long training and he ghosted me after 6 sessions inventing those weird excuses like having driven on a dead body on the freeway so his car got damaged hence he couldn't come. I've always found the Bark Busters' pricing strange and I should have read reviews before but I was desperate to find a solution for my dog so I paid $1095. I got 6 sessions so at least Jordan didn't ghost me after the 1st session but I can't even say I learned anything and for sure Jordan worsen my dog's behavior so please, don't bother. Think about the Bark Busters' pricing. You pay for 1 year or for a lifelong training. The amount for a year is in the end not that expensive if the trainer comes every 2 or 3 weeks. So how can the trainer earn money? How can he live if you only pay $1095 for a year? Well, the trainer has to ghost you in order to get more clients and continue earning money. Jordan will ask you to grunt at your dog (I'm still not convinced it works and that there is science behind it) and to spray water at your dog but none of these work. Go to your vet and ask for recommendations. Or go to a place that people you know recommended.

As we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff members and were told that if we had any questions then they would be more than happy to assist. They also offered treats for our fur babies which is always a bonus! The store was neatly organized with plenty of walking space for owners and their pets to roam around. We came specifically for some birthday hats and accessories and were pleased to find it close to the entrance. As we were trying different hats, one of the employees Arrow offered to take some pictures of our birthday girl and told us that they offered a birthday goodie bag. We were delighted to hear this as who doesn't want to spoil their precious puppy on their special day? It took only a few minutes for them to get us a bag and Arrow also mentioned that we get 25% off treats, toys and food that could be used with the same year. What a steal! We decided to get them some hides (our dog picked them out for his sister and himself) and dog food. We came in for a birthday hat but left happily with much more. The genuine care for their customers and pets was very clear. From friendly and professional customer service, all types of products, and one of those neat water dispensers for dogs and cats was fantastic! We will be back!

When I dropped her off I gave super detailed information including mentioning that I left pajamas with my scent to put in the kennel, some of her favorite toys, and treats - the person working the desk asked for guidance on treats and I said anytime, usually one tube a day. However, when I picked her up, the pajamas, toys, and treats were all totally untouched. This was especially disappointing after the person I spoke to after dropping her off was kind of rude in telling me that everything was exactly what I had requested. The staff was consistently hard to get a hold of (calls not picked up) and nobody I talked to seem to know who my cat was or have any direct experience with her, instead they referenced a chart which repeatedly had essentially no notes. She didn't eat for two days and they said they would call me if she still hadn't eaten in 24 hours. When I called the next day (24 hours later) she still hadn't eaten but I didn't receive a call. I gave two different people on two separate days advice on getting her to eat, both said they would try it, neither did (I had suggested giving her a treat outside the kennel and the treats were unopened entirely, that's how I know). They have no toys in their kennel at all regardless of what you bring and my cat was put in basically the only window kennel but I was never asked if she was social or skittish or anything. Also, they ask for consent to email/call/text but you will get zero updates on your pet. Maybe this all seems high maintenance but it seems pretty standard based on the other boarding places I've used or visited. Basically, I regret putting my cat there and would rather skip a trip than put her there again. Also, while this review is about a cat, when I picked her up I saw the doggie daycamp. Literally just one person walking the perimeter with a squirt bottle. They have some plastic structure kind of things but no toys and no real interaction with the staff member. The dogs saw us and came to the glass door, putting their paws up and barking and generally indicating that they wanted to leave.

I get there, and they've elected to replace my items with similar because they were sold out of my stuff. Just refund it? What are you doing?? So my order is wrong. I go to exchange what I could and it takes her forever. She's inputting everything wrong, having to redo it. It got to the point where I just said you know what? Give me my order. I'll come back another time because this is clearly too much for you to handle. So now I have $40 worth of toys my dog can't use, love that! This is why people use amazon over physical stores.

Every staff we've encountered has made us feel like our puppy is special and so loved! They are incredibly inflexible and lack customer service to even fool me into thinking they like dogs. Some examples: My first day there my dog was excited and went up to the owner wagging his tail trying to greet her, and she responded that she couldn't pet him "because she just put lotion on her hands" WTF you own a dog daycare? This happens every time we drop off...the people working there don't even get up from the desk to say hello to him or verbally greet him...and he is a SWEET and well behaved dog. Also I asked if they have puppy cams like other daycares so we can watch our dogs and they replied that the "wifi isn't strong enough". Multiple times they have been inflexible with small and reasonable drop off accommodations that are standard fare at other daycares I use. I asked if they could let my dog watch me leave before whisking him into the back to help with his separation anxiety (takes all of thirty seconds). Even when there are absolutely no other customers there they find the need to remind me of how "unworkable" this accommodation is. Most recently, I was four days late paying an invoice and they called me to remind me about it THREE TIMES, and also emailed me. All other daycares I use bill weekly or biweekly, and I"m used to paying invoices as such. I understand if their policy is due at time of service, but it is the way they went about handling the situation that was incredibly offputting. This place has NO LOVE, NO HEART, NO SOUL, and definitely won't get my business anymore.
