They even went above and beyond to work with my existing antiquated utilities. The mess left behind was no worse than that of other tradesmen I have hired (dust, greasy fingerprints, bootprints, etc). One of the men took one of my kitchen towels and used it as a rag without asking. It was then left balled up on the floor. I didn't even bother calling to complain about this, but in retrospect...* * * * This may have been a tactic to draw my attention away from the shelf where my personal belongings were stolen from.* * * * If you hire this company, get the full names of ALL of the workers who will be in your home. Google them before letting them in. If your gut tells you not to let them in, do not let them in. Do not take your eyes off them for a second. Do not allow one worker to distract you while the other(s) are unattended. If possible, place cameras, even around items of no/low value, kids' toys, knick-knacks, etc, even if they are too high up to reach normally. If you do not have video cameras, take before pictures of any room they have access to. Do not allow them to remove trash/debris from your home. Insist that they leave any garbage bags behind and check them thoroughly before throwing them away yourself. Take inventory of your belongings immediately. Record and photograph anything odd, even if it isn't something you would usually bother complaining about. If anything has gone missing, NO MATTER HOW LOW IN VALUE, file a police report. Sal was extremely professional in sending out their repair person. However, the person who came…read morewas very unfriendly. When I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. My changed rating is only for the professionalism shown by the reception desk and their follow-up. It is not for the changed picture Ron gave that I asked if Ron wanted me to wear a mask. Who would ask that in one's own house? I was wearing my mask thoughout the encounter. As a 65+ year-old, I must be cautious. I don't need a service person's permission to wear a mask inside my house. From 10/20/2025 till 1/2026 Sals has charged us 6,102.00 On 2/10/2026 we were presented with two more estimates: 1) 3,627.00 for further repairs . 2) 18,180.00 total replacement of Boiler It is my fear that they feel an additional 3,627.00 will not fix the boiler in entirety so they included an estimate of full replacement of system. 2) Replacement of boiler system in its entirety: 18,180.00 We have moved on and will not be using Sals service for any additional repairs/work This matter will appear on your website reviews and am submitting to the BBB

Roto-Rooter came out to look at an existing sewer issue at my house. They had come out several…read moreyears ago and told us the pipes were misaligned and needed to be replaced. They cleaned the roots out of the line in the yard and did a good job with that. My issue is their deceptive sales practices. They used a camera on the basement sewer pipe and told us that the line and the outdoor lines needed to be replaced. The quote was $30,000 for both! They did not clean the basement pipe; there was a tuft of roots they left and didn't want to touch b/c they claimed the line was broken underneath and they didn't want to damage it. Of course, I got a second quote from Formica plumbing, an honest company, which cleaned out the basement line and found nothing wrong with it aside from the normal root issues. They found the issue in the yard line to be the access junction, which the county fixed for free! So instead of having to get a 5% loan and a HUGE repair I paid less than $1000. I found out they work on commission. No thank you Roto-Rooter!

After checking online and looking at all the reviews I gave them a call. They not only cleared my drain but saved me some money because he thought he was going to have to replace some pipes. Thank God he tried something and it worked. They also replaced my faucet, and I could not put my PUR water filtration system back on the faucet, so they came back over the next day free of charge and purchased an adapter and put it on for me. This company was great the technicians and the manager Borus. I would highly recommend this company. They are professional and are not like most companies that charge so much to do the job.
