How considerate it was of her to choose a unit in close proximity to a clean, handicapped restroom. I had been unusually forgetful lately and entered the wrong code recently. Becky, The Manager was unbelievably gracious yet informative, in getting me straightened out. And it is how things are handled when they have the potential of going wrong that really counts, isn't it? I am looking forward to a lifelong relationship!!

The manager was very nice at first until the day we had to evacuate our home due to the fires. We had no where to go, so we hung out at our storage unit. She showed up the next morning and started yelling and accusing us of LIVING in the unit,not even asking about our situation. Other people that had to evacuate also had stayed at the facility. Another time she would not let me out the gate until we did exactly what she wanted. I think that's called kidnapping, holding me against my will! Now we are trying to clean out our unit, my boyfriend worked all night loading our things. This morning I get a text from her accusing the boyfriend of living in the unit and shaving in HER bathroom. You can look at him and know that's not true! And telling me he needs to get off the property and not come back, remember he's on the contract and we have access 24/7. I called her to discuss the issue with her and she hung up on me. How professional! It's a very nice clean facility but the owner needs to put their manager in check. Get the facts before accusing someone. We have taken pictures of the unit before returning our keys, there was a $50 deposit and rent is prorated for the last few days of the month that we had paid. 8 days to be exact. The manager was very curt with me today when I called to tell them they have rats and they ate through parts of my washer and dryer. They have ruined items that were precious to me as well. I'm devastated. They have it in the contract that they do not cover vermin damage. But they are fully aware the rats are there so should at minimum tell people who have belongings there. I also found a cockroach in front of a unit down another hall from me when I was taking pictures for proof. I told the manager I would post so people would know since they refuse to do so. The last photo is of the pile of stuff the rats made under my washing machine. Some of the feces is old and has been there for a while it appears. Apparently per the manager they are supposed to sweep that up every day.

I've left emails and 16 voicemails and still no return call. a friend of mine that referred me to the place just informed me that his gate code doesn't work either, and the kicker? WE WERE BOTH GIVEN THE SAME GATE CODE! doesn't seem like a very secure storage facility to me, and definitely not worth the price if this is the headache that comes with it.
