I went and had a Pendleton wool jacket cleaned. I explained what happened to the jacket. My grandson had vomited on it. When I went to go and pick it up, I got back in my car and smelt it to make sure that it smelt okay and it still smelled like vomit. So I took it back in and let the guy know that it still smelled like puke and he continually said no it's clean and sniffing it and telling me no smell no smell. I will never go back there again. He never even offered to try and take care of the smell. Offered no solutions at all. I paid $24 for my jacket to look clean but still smell horrible! Not a good experience at all. Typical quality, to clean two coats of fuzz and just general cleaning was $93.00. what the fuck was so costly to do that I'll never go back and recommend no one go there. Plus when I was surprised at there price the guy just looked and me all smug and said "coats" . I had one of them cleaned last year and it was $15.00. they are just regular coats, a pee coat and a long coat. Nothing fancy, not fur or down, how are people getting away with charging there's prices. Plus, he never told me how much it would be, never asked if I'd like to know know the cost. My wife brought in a jacket to have the sleeves shortened. A price was agreed upon. A few days later the jacket was ready. The workmanship was very poor and they agreed and offered to fix it. One day later the jacket was ready. This time the jacket was fine. They demanded and additional $7.50 because of the extra work to fix it. Sorry guys but you did the job improperly the first time and should have either just corrected it or told my wife IN ADVANCE that there would be an extra charge to do it right. I have supported this place because I lived in the neighborhood 15 years ago and even after I moved I came back to them because they were familiar. Even though their costs continued to rise significantly, I still supported them. I have given this business hundreds of dollars over the years. When I recently received back one of the most expensive pant suits I've ever bought that had been cleaned by Mastercraft with a rip in the side and oil stains all over it, I would have thought that because I had been giving them my business for over 15 years they would've been responsive, kind, personable and offered to remedy the situation. Instead, the owner was rude, took zero responsibility and said he could fix the issue but at full cost. Unbelievable. I will never come here again. And I highly recommend that you do not support a business that has such lack of familiarity and kindness for a long-term customer who supported their business even through the pandemic. read more

We've been customers at Mastercraft for almost a dozen years and have had good experiences all around. Given my hubby and I are both retired from corporate jobs, we don't give this cleaner the work out we did the one in our former home, with business suits and dress shirts and silk blouses in the mix and a regular stop on our "to do" list weekly. But we have used Mastercraft for trousers and cotton shirts and sweaters, from cotton to cashmere, and wool coats with very good outcomes each time. We've also used them for things like ultra big tablecloths I was too intimidated (OK lazy) to launder and iron myself. And most recently for the big test of a spendy Italian made cotton king size bed cover that needed laundering. I was prepared to accept substantial shrinkage on this piece, given the laundering instructions were cold water wash and hand blocking to dry. Happy surprise when Mastercraft beat my expectations and returned it in fine form with negligible shrinkage. The UPSIDE They do consistently good work in my experience and service here is friendly. Prices are on par with other Bend cleaners, a couple of which we tried and with which we had awful outcomes before finding Mastercraft. They also provide some limited tailoring on site, like having pants hemmed, which can be convenient. (But my recommendation for that service and things more extensive is Scissorbird in Bend. http://www.yelp.com/biz/scissorbird-sewing-and-alterations-bend-4 ) The DOWNSIDE This is an old building (circa 1970's?) with an awkward to access and falling apart parking lot right off of Greenwood Avenue. They charged $27 for my husband's suit jacket. That seems excessive. Their prices are not posted. I called another dry cleaners who quoted me $11.95 for the suit jacket, so I will not return to Mastercraft. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Mastercraft. Great job cleaning linen draperies and plush cotton draperies as well as 2 throws. Friendly, courteous and they carried the draperies out to my car and laid them in there so gently. These folks are my new go to cleaners. Highly recommended. read more

Excellent service. We dropped off a quilted/brocade king comforter with two matching shams on Tuesday and originally said we would pick it up on Friday. Due to a schedule change, I called them Thursday morning to see if I could pick it up that afternoon instead. They had it ready for me and it was perfectly cleaned.
