I'm still waiting for the estimate for, let alone scheduling of, the work. Many text messages (they *do not* answer their phone - it goes straight to voicemail, telling you to text them) later, they've stopped even replying to text messages. I received three quotes for the sliding glass door. Andersen quoted me at $6,800 (of course, it was $9,700 but then their magical discounts brought it into the high 6's) and Power quoted me at $5,800 (of course, if I signed RIGHT THEN AND THERE, it would be $5,100 only). They also both told me that it would be 7-10 weeks for install. Window World quoted me at around $4,000 for the door and within 3 weeks of putting down a deposit, I had a new door and window. The door is perfect and has built-in blinds that open/shut and raise/lower. The window is gorgeous - I took their recommendations and went with the awning-style window instead of one that goes up and down (they called this Double Hung). Absolutely fantastic service from Bill and Matt, as well. The installation took about 3 hours and was done perfectly.
