I read the reviews about them upselling their services and was a bit hesitant but the positive ones about their fast and great customer service won me over so I decided to give it a try. There was no wait on a Sunday mid afternoon, and I literally just sat in my car for less than 10 minutes and I was done. My total was $103 (oil change and they topped my coolant for an additional $6). I know I probably would've saved about $40 going to Jiffy Lube with a coupon but I really liked the convenience of not needing to leave my car. I was helped by London and Alex and the service I received from them was exceptional. I was offered a few other services for additional charge and the pricing weren't bad - but it was over 90 degrees today and all I really wanted to do was be able to get my oil changed quickly so I could turn my air conditioner back on. I received a list of recommendations on a few part replacements so I probably would go back soon to get it done. Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Hacienda Heights is a 10/10.

Came here today to get my dad's car's tire pressure checked. I was kind of lost because I didn't…read morerealize that they switched the area where they are doing tire pressure checks. So I called them and they explained that it's near the garage now. Shout out to the employee who answered my call and to the employee who helped me out with the tire pressure check! I forgot to ask for his name but he was wearing glasses and super helpful. I think he was the most helpful Pep Boys employee I've ever met, and he has a great personality too. His customer service skills were excellent. He was explaining how the pressure was fine after checking, and he also said they can fix it for free if the problem persists. Also, he mentioned about the wipers on the car that he said would be a quick fix and for 15 dollars. I mean it's pretty good customer service. Lastly, I came here at the right time when one of the employees put on "The Wheels on the Bus" song while they were working. Everyone was just laughing and having a good time. Mike replied fast,…read moreread my quote request, and gave a clear out-the-door number vs others who didn't read my request at all. His team did same day work: rear differential fluid service, stainless steel braided brake lines installation, and a full brake fluid flush and bleed with DOT 4. They used the correct API GL-5 SAE 75W-85 gear oil for a limited-slip differential and torqued everything to spec. Results were obvious after starting my car. Firm pedal. Straight stops. Quiet rear end on LA freeways and in tight low-speed turns. Mike's communication stayed clear and kind. Price matched the estimate. No questions or upsell :) The waiting area has plenty of seats and a TV for those who can wait. The shop itself is very organized, clean, and tidy. About four or five lifts, busy but under control. If you need brake upgrades, a brake fluid flush, or differential service in Walnut or the San Gabriel Valley, this is the shop I recommend. Honest work, good communication, correct fluids, clean install, quick turnaround.
