He shows me where the leakage is, and the quality of the pipes and the system used is more reliable than Home Depot's brand. On a Friday, we discovered a significant leak in our irrigation and had to turn off all our sprinklers in the middle of the recent 100+ degree heat spell. We called Master Tech and Ramon came out at the end of the day and provided a temporary fix which allowed us to turn our water back on. He promised to return on Monday to finish the job properly. He honored his commitment and was back on Monday to complete the work. We were so impressed we asked him to look at 2 other irrigation issues that my husband had been struggling to repair. We had a great experience with Ramon and his team at Master Tech, we have had them fix our sprinkler issues twice. The first time Ramon and his team came over for an inspection of our backyard and front yard sprinkler system and highlighted multiple leaks due to which many of my plants were unhappy and dying. I hired Ramon and Master Tech because a couple of my sprinkler zones stopped working, and there were a few problems related to the original installation (done by someone else years ago), which was not done properly in a variety of ways (e.g. cooper and galvanized pipe connections). The installation issue was the underlying cause of some valves going bad, which led to the sprinkler zones not working. He relocated and properly installed new valves, and redid/fixed some of my drip lines. My system now works great! He was very prompt and communicative about the entire process, and I thought he was very fair and transparent. In fact, my job ended up being a little more complicated than he originally thought, but he still only charged the original estimate, which was priced competitively. Aside from this, he cares a lot about maintaining relationships with his customers. 2 days after he fixed our system, one of the drip lines broke. Although I didn't see it happen, I'm pretty confident it was one of my kids and not a defect in the original system. Despite this, Ramon came out later that day and fixed the problem without charge. He also repaired some of my sod that wasn't doing so well, likely because I didn't water it enough. I have already recommended Master Tech to family, and I would recommend others hire them as well. As a new mom, I wanted to get back into gardening after having missed a season, but I knew that I couldn't commit as much time to hand watering all of my plants as before. I was also interested in putting up a number of hanging plants for the first time, but learned that they required frequent watering over the hot summer months (up to once a day). I did some research online to see if installing an irrigation drip system was something I could do on my own, and quickly realized that I would need a professional. I reached out to a number of companies for quotes and ultimately chose Master Tech Irrigation for a number of reasons. One, they are specialists in their field. Given the scope of my project, I knew that I wanted to work with a company that focused specifically on irrigation, versus a general landscape company that also does irrigation. Two, Ramon and his team were extremely professional. Ramon was quick to respond to my emails, showed up on time for the estimate, and provided a quote in a timely manner. Lastly, I felt as though the quote I received was fair, provided the work that I wanted to do. My project included setting up irrigation for the following areas: -Backyard vegetable garden -Front yard rose bushes on both sides of the yard -Front yard containers on both sides of the yard -Hanging pots on both sides of the porch -An extra zone available in the backyard in case I wanted to expand my irrigation system in the future I also wanted to set up the entire system on a smart timer (Rachio) that I could control over my phone. During the estimate process, Ramon provided great suggestions, such as placing microsprays on stakes that could be movable in the vegetable garden as the plants often change, versus a more static grid system; and trying to make the irrigation lines leading to the hanging pots as clean and non-distracting as possible. After confirming, he and his team were able to get to work right away (I should also mention that this was during the COVID pandemic and that he and his team were stringent about social distancing and wearing masks whenever they needed to interact with me). The project itself was finished within a day, however, because of a shipping delay, my smart timer didn't arrive on time. Ramon said it wasn't a problem and that I could let him know once it arrived. Once it arrived, he and a member of his team came over the next day to install it. They even walked me through the process of setting it up on my phone before they left. Overall, I am more than happy with the service that I received from Master Tech Irrigation. Ramon and his team were really great to work with - professional, personable, and experts in their field. I highly recommend them and would use them in the future for all my irrigation needs.
