They showed up and also found flooding in the basement. I was led to believe that the charge of $1157 would fix both (I live in CA, so I wasn't there to see the paperwork to sign.) Then they sent another plumber who wanted to charge me $6500-$7500 to excavate to find the leak. THen a third person showed up to deal with the flood and wanted to charge me $3500 to clean it up. The first plumber said he would take video down the drain but never showed me anything and the person on the phone when I complained said they don't give the video out. Stay away from these folks. Also, they mentioned that I had a main water leak. I had the city come out and they tested the line and confirmed no main water leak.

Worse plumber ever. Made up lies about me because I told the truth. First of all he was late &…read moredidn't have courtesy to call. Every area he worked in was cleaned & cleared special for him to work. Ge flooded & damaged kitchen.There were no doggie pee pads or anything in his way. There was a new package of dog supplies near the front door, NEW nothing dirty. He is lying about 3 other plumbers coming. Absolute lie. I received several quotes but only had him come & now have to hire a good, honest, person to clean up his mess. I had a plumbing leak on second floor& things are tore up which i explained thing ls were a mess. Nothing was in his way to perform work. It is not garbage but boxes of things needing moved as upper floor & ceiling is tore up for major leak repairs. We are also downsizing & many boxes are going to goodwill. I explained all this to him. Just because he's a terrible businessman that can't be on time,lied about having parts & did poor repairs is no reason to act vindictive like a 2 year old & try to besmerch me. His attack proves he lacks temperament to provide service to his customers. What I showed him extra was additional work I would need after leak & damage is repaired. It only took a couple minutes & it would have been future work for him had he been any good. I got very little for what I paid. He didn't bring or replace part I called about. He didn't even have a bank account to send money to. What kind of business has no bank account? He did seem desperate for work having to come so far out of his area for work & not having dependable transportation. READ BEFORE YOU CALL THEM:…read more My father (who speaks very little English) had bought a house and had called this company 2 days ago to come in to see why the heat was not working. Fahy MJ & Sons Inc had sent in their service tech in to check out the issue. The tech came in at 10-11 am talked on the phone the whole time, looked the furnace up and down installed two thermostats without permission and left almost close to 5 PM. The heat was never fixed. The company charged my dad 580 dollars for spending over 5 hours just diagnosing the issue. The heat was never fixed. When i called to complain today as to why my father was charged that much even though they did not fix the heat. The rude lady that answered the phone told me that the tech was only diagnosing the issue. She admitted that "the furnace did work when the tech left and that they STILL do not know whats wrong and they will need to come back again to diagnose further". She said " This is what we do and these are our business policies" What angered me the most is that instead of being a professional and discussing facts and logic she started to berate my father. No one should be exposed to that kind of treatment from anyone; much less from an employee of a legitimate business. I called her out on her business practices that they follow. They go for a service call spent an indeterminate amount of time "diagnosing" the problem and then bill you and tell you that they "Need To come back to do more diagnosing" I asked her if they had provided my dad with an estimate of the job and she said no. Instead the tech spends all of his work day in my fathers house while on the phone talking and very little working; because Fahy MJ cannot hire qualified techs that know how to do their jobs. This sub-par level of expertise and customer service is what makes consumers like us fear the day that our heat source breaks down. After talking on the phone to this very rude and unprofessional woman she became very irate and belligerent and started to say things like " Are you threatening me?, I am going to call the cops because i feel threatened". The woman i spoke to gives the company a bad name. If she is the manager of that office then the business will continue to experience complaints from consumers like me. Very shameful that a reputable company would do this to my father. They took advantage of my father's inability to speak English. Very sad to have to write this. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
