In mid-November I called A-1 Quality Rooter as my main sewer was backed up and after calling first thing in the morning, they had a technician out early afternoon. Joey was the tech that arrived timely and after explaining the issue, he got right to work. Aside from being professional, he took the time to thoroughly explain (in terms I understand!) what cause the issue and the steps he took to clear the backed up sewer drain. He took the time and IMO went above and beyond cleaning up the mess the backup left that I had not been able to get to as well as provided a few suggestions on how to clean up the concrete, basement floor since water covered the entire area. Because of my experience with the office staff who originally took my call, but more so because of my interaction and experience with the tech, I will be using and recommending A-1 Quality Rooter in the future. read more

We had water coming up the basement floor drain for a couple weeks, it would happen each time we ran the washer. It wasn't so bad when it started but the past few days it got so bad it could no longer be put off. Called up today and had our clog cleared up in no time. Todd showed up in less than 15 minutes, discovered grease buildup was the reason, snaked out the clean out and now the pipes are good and clear. Price was fair and his service was excellent. I had some clogged underground gutter drain lines. I made the call in the morning and very shortly one of their techicians showed up at my door with his equipment in the van. He went right to work clearing the drainage pipes. After clearing the pipes and testing that they were draining properly, he showed me the water draining from the discharge pipes. He told me to give a call if there were any problems and he was on his way. I was very pleased with his work and professionalism and I'm left with the piece of mind that the gutter drains will be working with the next heavy rain. read more

We were referred to these guys after a sewage backup in the basement (yes, it was just as pleasant as it sounds). They have a 24 hour number, but seeing as it was around midnight, we just called the regular number and left a detailed message. The owner contacted up promptly in the morning, and someone was here evaluating our problem within an hour and a half. The gentleman identified the problem, solved it with a rooter, and did a preliminary clean up of the area (yeah, it was a big help, just imagine). What impressed me most was the taking time to explain to us what'd happened, and to how to keep it from happening again, a good touch. Overall, great service, at an honest price, far and away better than dealing with a national brand. Hopefully I'll never need this service again, but if I did, we'd contact A1 again without a doubt. read more

Polite, courteous, sincere [no hidden crap(no pun intended)in the estimate over the phone], efficient, and both were very personable. John Jr. even gave me a written guarantee at job's completion. The price to rooter out the main line was very, very reasonable. A-1 Quality Rooter leaves Roto-Rooter in the latrine(again, no pun intended)when it comes to service/work fees. When John Jr & Joe showed up on time and wiped their feet before crossing the threshold was almost jaw dropping for today's era of vain rudeness(the customer is always wrong and nothing but a bother)and insincerity.
