If Yelp needs character witnesses from Mr. Electric or the construction contractors that had to fix the damage caused by "Quick Fix Hero," please let me know. Also, if you check out the other reviews on this Yelp page for "Quick Fix Hero, " you will also see other customers that faced similar damages. I never received any invoices or any documentation provided by them. All I received were threats at my home and damages to my property. This merchant is also not listed under the Better Business Bureau. I have contacted the Missouri Ethics Commission and the Attorney General's office. I never signed any paperwork and yet this company took $500 from me and refuses to refund me.

Woman I spoke to on the phone initially thought she could have someone out first thing tomorrow morning, but she must have sensed my panic haha and told me "they got me" and promised to find a way to get a truck out today. They followed thru-Cody and Jack arrived a couple hours later, diagnosed issue, presented three different solves at various price points and offered guidance on plus/ minus of each. We selected an option, and they installed by mid-afternoon, and taking the time to walk me thru the fix, how the new equipment works and what to watch for if future issues occur. Well done Embrich!

A hvac service representative was sent out named Joe, he looked at the ac and it was frozen solid. If I recall correctly it was one of our first 100 degree days and no a/c. Moments later my husband came home and had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery. I was never told clearly if I would have a resolution for the a/c bc in my brief encounter with Joe, he said he could not effectively resolve the a/c issue. I had to leave to take my husband to the hospital. So no action was taken or we did not use this company because I had a sick family member and could not be present at home because all of my time was needed at the hospital and my young child. We paid the bill full and clear. Even signed up for a monthly membership. Fast forward to today, I have a huge leak in my primary shower, I called to have a team member come out and take a look. They told me that would not be servicing my home because I was rude to Joe. I was NEVER was rude, I may have been panicking but was never rude. I had a family emergency that had to be dealt with. I Did not have time to talk about all 3 of my ac units and wait for another more seasoned team member to come out to detect the problem and resolve the situation. I was texted by the owner for a follow up that day, but as mentioned, I was right smack in the middle of a family emergency that took precedence over anything else. No further contact was made to me. I was just cut off my membership with no notice and the customer care manager told me that they were no longer willing to service my home because Joe thought I was rude. Wow. Just wow. Every other team member (I have had 3-4 embrich contractors come to the house with a great experience, turns out one bad apple will spoil the bunch. Hate to give a bad review but what an embarrassing and humiliating experience. With embrich, expect to be judged and unfairly treated with no human empathy or care. I guess there is no team in membership. Very disappointing and very unfortunate. Talk about rude.

We wanted to love them, based on their reviews…read more I've been using the same plumber for years, but they were recently bought out, so we tried this spot as I try to support local. The first time out they were phenomenal. They checked ALL my drains and cleared the issue for us so quick. Their prices are fair for the area. We had a cap stuck in the drain, but we hadn't had issues with it draining yet, so we left it at the time. We asked him to do a rough estimate for pricing to get it out just in case, and on his way he went. Turns out, when he was snaking the drains, he had actually wedged the cap further down to which it blocked the sewer line from the toilet and shower, and created a seal. This was our fault since we didn't mention it to him though. We tried a few times to get it out with an electric snake, but couldn't, so called these guys to come formally quote and cut the pipe for us. Then, ghosted. Called, emailed. Never heard back. I'm not sure if they just didn't want to deal with the cast iron (fair), but it would have been nice to have some communication. We unfortunately won't be calling them again. They're probably awesome for quick and easy house calls, but I don't think more in depth issues are worth their time. At least, that's what it feels like.

We had a drain/plumbing issue in a tenant apartment that was making the one shower unusable (i.e.,…read morean emergency). We had three other plumbers out to try to resolve the issue and they always just passed the buck ("you'll have to call someone else") or suggested replacing and entire shower stack ($2k+). Bore's was able to fit me in earlier than scheduled due to a cancellation, and used actual common sense to identify the issue, which was much easier to resolve than previously thought. The apprentice plumber called in to the master plumber Michael (who I believe is also the owner?), who was able to come out same-day (!!), confirm the solution, and call in the right tech. Then he waited around for an extra hour to make sure the tech did the job correctly, put everything back as it was before (access panel, etc.) and even rinsed down the tub (which had accumulated significant grime during all the troubleshooting). Michael was very informative about how to prevent further issues. And the charges were well below what we anticipated we would need to spend, thanks to their aptitude and careful consideration. Wonderful experience, from scheduling to finish.
