The dealership said it was because of a broken gasket in the exhaust, they change it and I paid over 200 dollars. on my way home I went back and told them. Then the service manager said I have a problem with the compressor and needs to be changed. they said they will call me back after they have done the paper work with Mitsubishi Canada. they even promised to call me after a few days. They did not call me for a month and when I'm calling them they are not available. so I decided to look for a real mechanic who can do a real diagnosis of my car, and I found this placecalled Reliance Auto Mechanic. The owner was very nice to me and said, " don't worry my friend I will take care of you!" after less than 30 minutes, they found the problem and it's not the compressor! It's just a dirty throttle body and weak battery. they fixed it and in no time my car is now running smoothly!! It saved over 1500 dollars if I followed the advice of the dealership to buy a new compressor. Thank you Reliance, Fernando Gonzalvo

I went when the seal on my tire broke. It cost me $40. The guys are all pretty friendly too. When I had any questions the guys actually showed me what was going on. They showed me proof of problems. This way I know they're not trying to trick me. Like typical mechanics if anything is wrong with your car, they alert you ahead of time. One thing I like is that they dont pressure you or try to shame you too hard if you dont fix what they suggest. They'll try a little like "so you're just going to drive your car like that?" and " so when do you think you're going to get this done?" One time my oil was low and leaking, and instead of simply offering to top it up, they tried to sell me an oil change which I didnt really appreciate. Ps I'm a woman and I'm surprised they didn't try to take advantage of me like other mechanics do. I recommend this place.

I don't know a lot about cars except that I need one for a commute, but the staff here are excellent and explain things so that I understand them and can make the best decisions for my car. I'm writing this review today specifically because I had a really amazing experience yesterday - I'd brought my car in to get the brakes checked and it turned into an all-day thing because the rotors needed to be replaced. Without getting into detail that might have other people asking for the special treatment I got, they made sure I got home so that I could finish up my workday, and REALLY went out of their way to do so. Car stuff's always going to be expensive - I'm not sure I'd trust cut-rate brake service, anyway - but their pricing is always reasonable and well-explained, and I have never gone away feeling like they've done something I didn't need or that I'd paid for something silly. I went to work 15min after the service and 3 min in to my drive, I started smelling a burnt scent and started hearing grinding noise. I drove my car only short distances for the next few weeks and informed Uchanics that it is still making noises and the burning scent is still present. It turns out my calipers where seized. Due to the service tech rushing, he did not get to check the calipers. I got the rotors, break pads, calipers fixed at a different shop. This terrible experience happened in April. They've stopped responding to my emails and it is now September. I am still currently waiting for my reimbursement from Uchanics.
