Before you read further, this review is strictly for alterations, not dry cleaning. I bought my dress knowing it was a tad bit too long. I took it to a different dry cleaner closer to my house and they butchered it (and also insisted that I have the brand new dress dry cleaned as well as altered). I had other things done at the same time so I don't know exactly what it cost just for the dress, but $25 is a very close estimate. I was devastated when I picked up the dress. I just couldn't wear it like that. I thought I might be able to have it altered again but I knew I only had one shot at it. I asked people I trusted and decided to go with Ms. Ida at Waite's Cleaners. It was a great decision! Ms. Ida had me try on the dress and she took measurements. It was an inch longer in the front and a half inch longer in the back than the sides. She told me she would do what she could but couldn't make any promises that she could fix it as it has a very full skirt and she wasn't sure how the other place had previously altered it. I picked my dress up today and it's perfect! She is amazing! She's sweet and friendly too. I seriously love Ms. Ida! If you need any alterations, she's the lady you can trust to do it right! It took her about a week to make the alterations and she charged me $15. Seriously, I'm so happy I wish I had more clothes to be altered. When I do, you can bet I'll be going to see Ms. Ida!

In doing a survey of friends and neighbors, no one could think of a place to recommend. So, I jumped of good ole faithful, Yelp, my go to site for this new resident. I found Jaguar and decided to call. The clerk was very friendly and assured me that they could handle my items. I explained that the comforter is very heavy and wet would be very awkward to handle. She was very reassuring about their service so I took my items that afternoon. She was very helpful, explained when we could expect the items to be done then took my cell number for notification. I took them on Tuesday afternoon just prior to closing. She said I might expect them by Thursday but most likely Friday. On Thursday I received the text that I could pickup my cleaning, however, I couldn't make it until Friday. I have to say I was so surprised how wonderful they turned out! They ruined a silk scarf, an Eileen Fisher Blouse, Sweater, Cocktail dress, Capri Pants, and a shawl. They pressed wrinkles into shirts. When I called they offered to reclean the items. That was a nice gesture, but I decided that they had already cost me a couple of thousand dollars since what they ruined had only been cleaned once before and was still basically new.
