I originally posted a 1 star review because one of my dress shirts came back with stains on the collar and sleeve. The employee told me there were stains when it came in and they could not get them out. I told them those stains were not there when I brought that shirt in. My wife meticulously goes over the dry cleaning to see if there are any spots that need treating before going in. The employee did not even offer to see if they could be cleaned and the spots treated. I posted a review and the owner contacted me when he saw it and asked to see the shirt. He came to my house and looked at the shirt and said those stains should have come out and took it with him. I received a call that my shirt was ready and the stains were gone. I appreciated that and picked up the shirt but I had already purchased another dress shirt to replace it which cost me $80 bucks. The employee should have taken care of this to start with. The review is for the owner giving excellent customer service. The 1 star remains for the employee who was not concerned about customer service in the least. The owner said he did not want to lose a good customer. I have had no complaints other than this and have been satisfied up to now. I am debating going back but at this time I am still undecided. Bad customer service leaves a bad taste that is hard to wash away and I would be dealing with the same employee again. read more

This place is AWFUL! Was told everything would be done Monday after 6 and only got half of my stuff. Told to come back the next day for the rest--still not ready. It's currently Wednesday and they are still not ready and I don't know when they will be. The staff was not very helpful in this situation at all! I don't ever like to leave bad reviews but I just want to warn anyone who needs a reliable cleaning service to PLEASE read all those reviews about this place. Save your money, time and your clothes. Also, the person who works at the counter as she calls herself a "drop off service" will definitely ruin your mood. read more

This place is terrible. Our family had to come in for an unexpected funeral and I had to have a pair of dress slacks cleaned. Dropped off on a Tuesday and the lady taking the order looked at the pants and told me they'd be done by Saturday afternoon. Saturday??? Maybe I expect too much, but in the Metroplex, it's pretty much a one-day turnaround. After telling her I had to have them by Friday at noon, she promised that they would be done by Thursday afternoon. On Friday morning, I'm still waiting, with the funeral in just a couple hours. After being given the runaround by this particular store's employees and "manager," I went straight to the source at their plant on Slide. She was actually very accommodating and helpful, getting my pants to me in time for the funeral. However, I won't do business with this particular branch of Master Cleaners if I'm ever in Lubbock and needing dry cleaning. There are way too many other options to choose from. read more

Extremely helpful employees! When I went to pick up my clothes the delivery driver had made his last drop off for the day but my clothes were still at the main location. One of the employees drove to the main store to pick up my clothes and bring it back so that I wouldn't have to make another trip. Very satisfied with the customer service. read more

PAY ATTENTION TO REVIEWS!!!!! This place is horrible. I brought in two pairs of jeans on Monday and specifically asked for heavy starch. I picked them up on Tuesday and they were not starched. I didn't realize this until I got home and tried them on. The next day I bring both pairs back and was told it takes 2-3 washes for the jeans to get stiff. REALLY???? Why can every other cleaners in Lubbock get my jeans stiff the first time. The lady said she will redo one pair for free but will charge me for the pair that I tried on. Wow was I pissed at this point. I left them there for another day so they can try to get my request right. Well this morning I go by to pick them up and yet again they were not heavy starch. So this is 4 days I've been without my jeans so they can practice doing something they should already know how to do. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! read more

Mastercleaners is the worst! I went to pick up my dry-cleaning today after work. When I got home I noticed that a sport coat was missing. I had to go back to not only pick it up, but also 3 other items they had misplaced! This is the first time I have been back to Mastercleaners in 7-8 years. The reason I left them in the fist place was because of mis-handling my clothes. I would not have been back except my other cleaners went out of business. I had to drive back to get my clothes. No offer of a discount for my inconvenience or anything! read more

Horrible dry cleaning. My shirts came out wrinkled and covered in lint. I had 2 garments ruined and the price is outrageous for the mediocre job they do. They just bought out Prestige fabricare on 4th and Frankfort and I regret taking it to the Master Cleaners. Prestige was cheaper and did a better job. Don't go here. read more
