I have perfectly installed porcelain tile and hardwood floors, repaired walls, and a new cabinet. Amazingly, they were able to match my existing hardwood with the new hardwood, and there's absolutely no difference - it's as if all of the hardwood was originally installed at the same time rather than being installed years apart from each other! The new kitchen cabinet was also selected and installed, and matches with the cabinets that were already in place. I was also impressed that they do not take any shortcuts, and quality seems to be a top priority for them. Even though my project was small compared to many large renovation or repair projects, I never once felt that I was any less important as a customer. I also appreciated that they were upfront and transparent about any issues that arose during the repairs, and they made sure to stay in contact with me and offered helpful suggestions for overcoming any repair barriers. The Zelaya team remained professional, courteous, and transparent, and completed the repairs on time and on budget. The guys at NK were very fast with the initial tear out and build; and the whole time they were very considerate of our home, using a combination of cloth and platic coverings to keep dust and debris down. As the got closer to completing the shower over the course of a few days, they realized that the shower heads I wanted installed would require a hardware adapter that was not included with the hardware I had ordered. They explained the situation and hunted down the part, later getting in touch to schedule the final work. Our shower was completed and looks incredible, NK really did a phenomenal job and we could not be happier.

We replaced our old rotting deck with a beautiful new room addition, designed by WISA, with a…read moresliding door and a side exit that even included a small full bathroom and closet (features that other companies told us would not be possible within the same amount of existing space that we had to work with). WISA's team was wonderful. Everyone did an expert job -- from digging the foundation (lots and lots of dirt needed to be removed!) to extraordinary architectural planning of the project to painstaking attention to every small detail that accentuated the beauty of this space. We especially like that we saw the same team members on a consistent basis (no outsourcing of labor). Everyone arrived on time for the workday and put in their full effort all day long, six days a week -- the excavators, foundation builders, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, roofing and siding specialists, and, indeed, the entire highly skilled workforce. They found solutions to any and every issue that sometimes cropped up, as to be expected in a large, involved project of this magnitude. The design and project planning team, along with the architect and company heads, were so very helpful in bringing our vision to life. We even went ahead and had old popcorn ceiling removed from our existing living room, dining room, and kitchen and had all those walls and ceilings painted to match our new room addition and had recessed lighting installed in those areas, too (our older home did not have any existing ceiling lighting in our living room) -- so a lot of expert wiring was required to accomplish all this. Additionally, we had WISA install electrical power and lighting to our shed while they were working on all of the other wiring installation work. Our new extension with plenty of large windows to enjoy our treed back yard just adds so much more to the enjoyment of this beautiful extra space. Our back yard was so sloped previously that we couldn't fully use a lot of this additional area effectively before. The new flooring was hand-picked and hand-stained to very closely match our existing floor that this tied into. We now have extra room for family and guests to stay. Not only did the room design and the new large side deck exceed our expectations, instead of renovating an older bathroom as we had planned to do, we decided to go ahead with having a lovely retaining wall and matching pavers installed to fully enhance our new space. This is the first time we've ever had a level pathway across our backyard. It makes everything so much easier! This also corrected previous poor drainage problems affecting our yard, so that was an unexpected added bonus. Our addition turned out better than we could ever have imagined and at a far better price than several quotes we received from other companies. Our initial quote from WISA was easily only half the cost of the quotes from other home improvement companies we contacted. Also, the WISA showroom has just as much selection of products as other companies do; and they will go above and beyond to help you find just the right flooring, tiling, bathroom fixtures, and other options even beyond what they carry in their large onsite showroom. From initial design, to pulling permits, to their advanced experience in coordinating and carrying out plans in compliance with homeowner association (HOA) approval, to final completion of a beautifully constructed new room, deck, and backyard retention wall and paver layout, they are truly top-notch! Plumbing had to be replaced and reconfigured to move it from the right well to the left; we wanted a bathtub to replace the ancient standing shower; it took us forever to pick a vanity; we wound up choosing hardware that required specialised installation & nothing in that bathroom had been updated for about 20 years. Austin, Moira & Carlos at Kingston guided our selections, problem-solved as issues came up, kept up a steady flow of communication & all in all, delivered a gorgeous result for a reasonable price. We purchased Kohler rain shower plus hand-held and tub mechanism with all necessary valves from Fergussons. We kept our reclining Kohler tub with side st.steele handles. We needed to tear out and replace all prior tiles due to leak, and wet uninsulated walls around tub. Mr. Buendia and his team planned out the job, gave us a reasonable estimate, told us from when to when the job was going to be done, emailed us job proposal, we agreed and signed contract, and the the job started. They covered floors and stairs to prevent any damage, while we made sure they had access to an empty bathroom. In the middle of job we discovered that we needed to reinstall 'all walls, which we did not know when we started. Mr. Buendia and I went to the Tile store on Eisenhower Ave., and we chose together a tile that would fit and look great, and align with remaining ceramic floor. The team worked in coordinated way, and the end result is truly terrific! We are very satisfied and very much recommend Mr. Buendia's team to others.
