I'M PISSED!! Today I went to this place and had a nice conversation with the person a young man, behind the counter. I went to get live crabs. I hate getting crabs from places that have them in the back of the store where you can't see what you're getting. The young man was nice enough and we had a good conversation. I got 2 dozen mediums for $77. Mediums???? On top of the bag were ones that I would call medium but the rest at the bottom were barely legal size! I honestly don't think they were legal. They were babies! That asshole smiled right in my face and duped me. I was a new customer so I really didn't know about this place. Don't buy from this place! If they dupe customers like this , there's no telling what kind of shananagins they're pulling with the cooked food. If they're small just say that. I probably would have bought them anyway. So let me start off by saying I'm not your typical "fisherman". I'm an urban, North Philly African American girl relatively new to living in a suburban Delaware world. I've always loved to eat crabs but recently I have found a passion for actually catching them. And somehow, I started to become obsessed with learning how to fish. I am literally self-taught (or YouTube to be specific)! As a black person in general but specifically a black woman, i have to admit I feel a little uncomfortable going into bait stores. One of my best friends frequents Cabela's often and experiences racism and I vowed I would never support them so I ended up here at Master Baiters. I LOVE it here! I told the guys that I'm a rookie and they hooked me up! They gave me everything that I needed for a wonderful (beginner's) fishing day!
