I am a busy woman. I mean busy. I contacted 9 Hyundai dealerships. I was working closely with 3 of…read morethem. I literally had an hour and a half to purchase a vehicle. I drove an hour and a half to one on my only day off in two weeks, who had run my credit and knew exactly what I wanted. I came to buy a car unseen. It was scheduled to arrive the first week of Sept. But the salesperson never gave me numbers (payment & interest rate) and tried to put me in a vehicle they already had. Considering my time crunch, it wasn't a good idea. He kept saying "it takes 3 hours to buy a car". This process felt more like a break up from an abusive person than buying a new car. So I left without purchasing anything. Two days later Wilson county motors called to say they just got the car I wanted in. (I was on their list). I explained my troubles before and asked if they could accommodate a busy person. Absolutely! They ran my credit, prepared my car, took a down payment on the phone and made me an appt for two days later to finish up. They had me in and out in less than an hour! I think all car buying should be this easy. Some times we just need people to listen. I should also add that the other two dealerships had marked the car up $8000-$10,000 more than Wilson county motors. We will be back and refer all of our friends! Everyone was wonderful ! Tom (the finance specialist), Internet specialist, and Bobby our sales person!

My initial experiences with them started out favorably- I needed a radiator replaced on my truck…read moreand they had it done in about a week. However, the water pump started leaking, and I took it back to Cartime to have it replaced- that's when the problems really started. I went through a colossal ping-pong game with them to get the water pump replaced, and it still never happened. The owner claimed he was ordering the part and lied about it- first he said he was buying it online, then he said he was getting it at a local parts store. Nearly two weeks elapsed before he even claimed to have the part-and I still don't know if he was telling the truth. I insisted on paying him for the work that had been done on it in diagnosing the water pump problem. The owner said it would be $150 and he only took cash- a huge red flag. When I asked for a receipt after paying that amount, he said he would text it to me on my phone. That never happened. The hours they post were not accurate; they would close early and were frequently unavailable for me to check on the status of my truck. When I'd call their number, it would just ring- no voicemail, no return calls. Nothing. All in all, they held my truck for nearly a month and never did anything to it. There was always an excuse- their mechanic didn't show up to work, their garage didn't have adequate heating, always something. Then, the owner has the gall to post a rebuttal on social media saying he didn't charge me for the time my vehicle was on his lot- even though it was there due to his own incompetence. And he also made it out as if he were doing me a favor by not charging me for the antifreeze that was put in my vehicle- even though I paid him $150. Their ethical conduct andcustomer service is beyond horrible-PLEASE pick any auto mechanic shop other than this one if you're in the Lebanon area.

Since we bought my car, we've had numerous issues that they have not been able to fix. They've even caused new issues themselves while working on my car that were not previously there (that they admitted to). I was out a car for 3 days for their mistake and they never bothered to offer to pay for a rental car. As of today, I just found out my transmission went out. This is the third time I had brought it in in the last month telling them something was wrong with it. They were not helpful in the slightest and were less than proactive about trying to fix the issue. Mike in service was incredibly condescending and rude, and I ended up leaving in tears. I knew something was wrong with my car, and he treated me like I was stupid and had me leave without even taking one look at it. It got to the point where I did not feel safe driving my car before they finally told me that I needed a new transmission. Time and time again we have had problems and they will say they're sorry, but not back it up with any kind of action. I am incredibly disappointed in the service they have provided and will not be purchasing my next car from them. We are very loyal Chevy buyers because my father-in-law worked at GM for decades, but we will be finding a new Chevy dealership to purchase our next car from. I expect so much better. You would think they would want to take care of loyal costumers, but it's quite the opposite. I'm still waiting on a manager to call me back from last week...

Great deal and no-pressure sales!…read more Drove from West Nashville and was definitely worth the drive. The Vehicle I test drove met all my expectations and I ended up purchasing it. I delayed my review 10 days to be ensure the vehicle didn't have issues, it's a great vehicle at a awesome price and the salesman was what I wish every car-salesman could be. Darrel Holt was easygoing, direct and it was a very pleasant overall buying experience (how often do you hear that?). Very happy with the vehicle and the buying experience. I will definitely go back to 231 for my next vehicle purchase.

Here is a more blunt, more direct, no-nonsense version while still clearly keeping everything as…read moreyour personal experience and opinions, which protects you while letting you say exactly how you feel: From my personal experience, this dealership has been a complete disaster--easily the worst place I have ever bought a car. I walked in expecting basic honesty, and instead I feel like I got empty promises, zero responsibility, and a warranty that was, in my opinion, totally useless. I bought a 2017 Jeep Wrangler, and the problems hit almost immediately. The check-engine light came on, and within months I learned the front axle was cracked and every tie rod had to be replaced--more than $5,000 out of my pocket because the "extended warranty" refused to cover any of it. A few months later, the oil pump failed, then the transmission failed. Even knowing this was for a 16-year-old, they didn't step up, didn't help, and didn't take responsibility for anything. Every time I tried to get support, I felt like I got excuses and finger-pointing instead of solutions. In my opinion, this dealership is all about taking your money and vanishing the moment problems show up. Their claims about standing behind their vehicles did not match my experience at all. If you value your money or your sanity, my blunt advice is simple: stay away. Don't stop, don't think twice--just keep driving right past them. I would never want anyone to go through what I did.
