    Bought a 2012 highlander on 11/20/2023, Larry my salesman, told me this vehicle had no mechanical problems and was an amazing right. I was only able to test drive it once. No problems what so ever. 5 days after purchase, my torque convertor starts shuddering hard, which means this was a previous issue before I got the car and it's going out. Then, 7 days after the convertor starts going out, my alternator goes out. I had the car less than TWO WEEKS (I've had the car 16 days so far 12/18/2023) when these issues arose. I texted Larry to ask if an inspection was done on it since he had already told me they do. Other than him acting like he didn't know who was texting him, he told me the ONLY inspection they do is a safety inspection. Know what a safety inspection is? "Headlight check to ensure appropriate operation, no broken lenses or lamps, lights are the correct shade, are identical, and turn signals are operable". So I could have pulled off that lot with my family, had catastrophic engine failure on the interstate and been in an accident. I'm already almost up to $1000 in repairs because some salesman wasn't honest and wanted a sale. How these people live with themselves is beyond me. My advise is to stay away from this dealership if you don't want to be screwed over. As a matter of fact, I wonder if anyone has contacted the Bureau of Consumer Protection?

    You can say call you to try to make things right. Not sure how you would do that. You all already wasted my time once so think I shouldn't let you do it again. Not to mention you all have my cell number and no one has reached out to me. But make a post trying to make it look better on your part.

    This establishment does not release titles in timely manner. purchased a vehicle in May and still have yet received the title.

However, the water pump started leaking, and I took it back to Cartime to have it replaced- that's when the problems really started. I went through a colossal ping-pong game with them to get the water pump replaced, and it still never happened. The owner claimed he was ordering the part and lied about it- first he said he was buying it online, then he said he was getting it at a local parts store. Nearly two weeks elapsed before he even claimed to have the part-and I still don't know if he was telling the truth. I insisted on paying him for the work that had been done on it in diagnosing the water pump problem. The owner said it would be $150 and he only took cash- a huge red flag. When I asked for a receipt after paying that amount, he said he would text it to me on my phone. That never happened. The hours they post were not accurate; they would close early and were frequently unavailable for me to check on the status of my truck. When I'd call their number, it would just ring- no voicemail, no return calls. Nothing. All in all, they held my truck for nearly a month and never did anything to it. There was always an excuse- their mechanic didn't show up to work, their garage didn't have adequate heating, always something. Then, the owner has the gall to post a rebuttal on social media saying he didn't charge me for the time my vehicle was on his lot- even though it was there due to his own incompetence. And he also made it out as if he were doing me a favor by not charging me for the antifreeze that was put in my vehicle- even though I paid him $150. Their ethical conduct andcustomer service is beyond horrible-PLEASE pick any auto mechanic shop other than this one if you're in the Lebanon area.

If you're going to schedule customers, you should actually be prepared to help them when they show up. Instead, I left frustrated, inconvenienced, and feeling like my time didn't matter at all. Gas isn't cheap, and neither is my time. I would not recommend making an appointment here if you expect it to mean anything.

I did not forget about his willingness to help, and his kindness. In 2016 when my Mom in Law needed a new vehicle, I recommended she go to Wilson Co Motors to take a look. (we live in Murfreesboro). My wife and I went with her, and I was impressed with the low pressure sales experience. Not personally having a car payment for the last several years has been great, but my wife and I were in a situation where we needed a newer, dependable vehicle. Don't get me wrong, both our 99 Silverado with 256,000 miles and our Equinox with 202,000 miles are still going strong! I contacted Wilson Co. Motors and spoke with Brandon, after a 2015 Certified Pre-Owned Traverse caught my eye. He answered many questions via text and phone. My family went the next day to look at this vehicle, and Austin was a great salesman. Certainly there was some negotiating that went on, but it was not this painful haggle over price like I had experienced years ago. I had also done my research and knew what I felt comfortable paying. Once we settled on a price, Belinda was great at explaining the different finance options. We remembered her from two years prior, when my mom in law purchased her car. Everyone we have dealt with at Wilson Co. Motors are kind, professional, and they provide a GREAT experience. I can not say enough good things about this company. I think the 92 years of business within the same family speaks volumes. My profession is a Customer Service Manager, and I can tell you that for every 1 compliment, there are 10 complaints no matter how good a company is, unfortunately. I would honestly drive past 10 dealerships to get to this one!

Their staff consistently shows a lack of competence, and the sales manager was outright rude and dismissive. It's honestly shocking how disorganized and slow their entire process is. On the service side, they even caused damage to one of my vehicles that later had to be repaired -- something that should never happen. I tried again with a different vehicle for a completely unrelated issue, hoping it was just a one-off, but the same level of incompetence showed up all over again. The sales team doesn't seem to understand the order of their own process, and everything requires multiple follow-ups just to get basic information. After several interactions, it's clear this dealership has major systemic issues. I highly recommend avoiding this place altogether. Save yourself the frustration and take the extra drive to another Chevy dealership that actually knows what it's doing.
