John really really is a piece of work....he likes to play smoke and mirrors with your estimate he texts to you. He gave me a total, then we decide take off a Battery and install for $400 and also to remove a charge used to check out the A/C because it was blowing warm air. Brought in at 8:30 and was waiting on a call about car. He finally calls me around 11:30 sends me a text and I am scrolling through all the information. I addition to removing the $400 for the battery I asked him to remove a $250 diagnostic fee that I never agreed to. So I asked him, I owe $250 whether or not we do business and he said yes. I asked him to remove it because I was never told by him that I would have to pay this fee. Then he makes the snide remark of " well I did not know I had to work for free today" What an ass. Paid 2200 for a A/C repair and a new water pump. Truck was over heating when I left and John thought my sensors were defective. Drove back to Tampa with the truck over heating. 5 months later and it's still being repaired with a new head and head gaskets. On top of the 2200 I paid it costed me another 5K to buy 1 new head and replace the head gaskets. Also the A/C never worked as they put on a remanufactured compressor which leaked the Freon out before I ever left town.. I would never go to this place again if my life depended on it. Bad Bad Bad place to take your vehicle. They costed me over 7K and everything they did FAILED.. BAD BAD BAD place to take your vehicle for repair!!! read more

I don't trust this place. I took my car in for an oil change. When I got my car back, there was a huge oil leak on my garage floor. I took it back to them and they charged over $2,000 to fix the oil leak, and kept my car for over a week. When I got it home both wind shield washer pumps did not work. Also, I still had an oil burning smell inside and outside of my car. They fixed the problem with the windshield washer pumps for $600; but said it would cost another $1200 to replace oil sensor. Brought my Truck in for an estimate for repair. Was told i would be called prior to repairing. Waited an hour and returned to find it in process of repair ? I was then told no big deal just a cut wire . Then got a bill for 284. dollars They worked on it for 1hr and i was charged for 3? I own a service company and always quote prior to repairing . Would not come here again, went in for a bolt on exhaust for my car, it came off the lift I drove it away then went back because of a rattling noise then they took a look at it "supposedly fixed it" I drove off and the same issue reoccurred so I went back yet ANOTHER time and they still dIdnt fix it, noise kept happening . Turns out 2 screws were missing from the skid plate, it took my 17 year old friend 2 minutes to identify the problem and yet these "mechanics" couldn't even put there finger on what was wrong. When I looked underneath my car the plate was actually Dangling, Totally unbelievable. DO NOT GO TO MASTER AUTO CARE. read more

I have been taking my vehicles here for years as have all of my friends in the area. While they might not be the cheapest, things get fixed and fixed correctly and at a fair price. There are never any surprises as they call and tell you what is wrong and cost before doing it, leaving you an option to go elsewhere or fix it yourself. My wife and I were visiting our daughter and granddaughters recently in Jupiter, FL. I noticed that our daughter's Jeep Latitude had a miss and she was having to put it in neutral at each stop to keep it from stalling. Well, you know a dad can't let something like that go without doing something about it. Since she had previously been taken advantage of by other garages, I went on line and checked with Yelp reviews and found Master Auto Care to be well reviewed and they were located close by. Just to be sure, I stopped by to check them out in person. I was met at the counter by Lynn and explained the situation to her. She was an angel and immediately got John, the General Manager and Doug, the Owner to come out and talk with me about my daughter's Jeep. Since I was heading back to Kentucky the next day, John and Doug both assured me that they would take care of her and made arrangements for her to bring her Jeep in. They already had a good idea of what the problem was and were prepared with the necessary parts. John texted me to confirm the issue and confirmed the cost. After it was finished he emailed me a copy of the receipt. Our daughter is so pleased with the repair and will definitely use Master Auto Care the next time she needs good honest service. read more

I brought my truck in, paid $300, I had to take it back because they didn't fix it. I was then billed another $150 and still had the same problem. They then told me it would cost $700 more with no guarantee. I told them no, I would come and pick it up. When I came, they tried to bill me an other $300, I refused and took my truck out while John the ignorant manager tried to stop me. At least I only lost $450, I may take them to court. I was hesitant to go to Master Auto Care considering there were several very poor reviews. However, after a friend urged me to stop there, I could not be happier with their service and honesty. I went in thinking that I had a hole in my exhaust system. I did not have an appointment, yet my car was on the lift being inspected within 3 minutes. The exhaust mechanic quickly cleared my exhaust system, and found the culprit of the noises and poor acceleration. Luckily, it was a very easy fix. They did not charge me for the service, and sent me on my very happy way. I was pleasantly surprised by the owner and his team's regard for customer satisfaction. I will certainly return. read more
