The absolute worst lawn company & I have others. I switched to them because of their commercials. Their commercial says "Expect More and get it!" what a joke! I noticed my grass started looking worse after 6 months of our contract. I called & asked when they were last at my home. they had skipped 2 months. said they would send someone right away. Started off great. Then when it came time for my quarterly service, someone called to set the appointment. No one ever came; no one ever called. I called them. I am a paying customer of Massey's Irrigation Service and if I could give a negative rating for their services I would. Their customer service is all but non existent and they have no respect for the customer's time, all they do is change their schedules appointments and then not show up with the appointments that they made. Don't use this "service". I am a Property Manager and know what questions to ask and I did. I asked a specific question about what would be covered. The salesman patted me on the hand and told me I don't listen. Oh, I listen all right. I simply wanted to make sure what was covered since not all pest controls cover what I needed. He repeated the service and I hired them. Guess what? They don't do what he said they would do. I asked for a manager and both he and the salesman showed up at my house and not only told me that they refused to do what they said they would do, they also refused my request for a refund. And, most infuriating, they talked over me! I had to remind them several times that I was still talking! I finally told them just to get off my property. I manage over 80 properties and guess who we will NOT be using. read more

So its not just me man! Ive been living in my apartment which i moved into with a roach problem! Guess low income i shouldn't expect much. These guys have coming to my apartment for a month now and I still have a roach problem! It seems that they either can't fix the problem or are intentionally not fixing it so they can continue getting paid! And when i mentioned they were german roaches I was giving a look and the guy was like " do you know about german roaches sir" as if I were an idiot! So unprofessional, who gives the customer an attitude when they are paying you? I would never use this service if i had a choice but thanks to my apartment complex I don't have a choice. read more

I updated my review , not because of the company. Some of the techs were rude, ignored our concerns or just never bothered to show up at avesta seaside BUT I want to credit Brandon. He did an amazing job, always showed up and took care of the problem. Yeah, you expect that from yourcpest xonteom but massey had been lacking, till Brandon started out here. I hope Massey managemen recognize what an outstanding employee you have in him. He could teach some of your other techs about work ethic and pride in your job. Experience with this company is nothing but bad news. Whiny staff, incompetent, rude and untrained. Can be replaced with a 3$ can of raid. If you like being verbally attacked by someone who drives off saying "I'm not dealing with this, call my supervisor" by holding them accountable go for it. I have paid the yearly fee for two years and have to say how disappointed I am with the results. They stop by and leave flyers that they did this or that but neglect to kill weeds. Some of my yard looks perfect but other parts are overrun with weeds and sedge. I get excuses and it does not get better. Latest excuses are that they do not treat sedge unless I ask for it. I have scale on my palm. We do not spray taller palms. How about the weeds your tecs obviously walk on assuming they traverse my yard. I got silence. Last chance. I used Massey for 5 years without any problems UNTIL i moved and ended my service. I called and cancelled and followed up with a letter stating I would like to end service (I was on auto pay) and even after calling they serviced the property and I was charged. When I first called I was transferred to Amy, the mgr and she then told me to talk to Ron, the "Gen Mgr" When I called, Ron, he OUTRIGHT lied to me stating they called the tenant before going out to spray...OUR TENANT HAD MOVED OUT 3 MONTH PRIOR!!!!! After at least 4 calls to Massey they still REFUSED TO REFUND the $80 charge and I had to call AX and dispute the charge. UNBELIEVABLE how I was treated in the end. They made me feel like an idiot and basically told me I was lying about canceling and sending a letter because they say they never received it.....THIS IS NOT HOW A LOYAL CUSTOMER SHOULD BE TREATED!! We are canceling every service we can from this business. We had, up to now, had our home and my in-laws' home covered by their termite and home pest service. we used to have yard pest control from them. their yard pest control did nothing. i canceled that and started doing it myself and it looks every bit as good for 1/10th the price. we pay for my in-laws' bills, including termite service on their house. we requested a pest service for our home repeatedly. first, they went to my in-laws' home despite repeatedly telling them to come to our home. my mother-in-law has mild dementia and let them in to do whatever even though they didn't need or request the service. when we called and asked where they were, they said they went to my in-laws', not our home. still got a bill. then, we asked for a pest service at our home and were given a "appointment" window that was 4 hours long. and, they still didn't come. needless to say, we canceled the appointment, we can't sit waiting for them to show up. and, we still got a bill. we get about five bills for two houses that are covered. they don't know what they are doing. we are only keeping the termite service because they have us in a "contract" that is a bit sticky. read more

I only have experience with their pest control side. We had been with other companies and we always seemed to be calling them to come back out for various pest problems...mainly little black ants. When we switched to Massey the difference was apparent immediately. On the first call back about little black ants the guy came in, did his thing and we never have had to call them again. The regular stops have kept everything at bay. For this reason, we recommend Massey for your Pest control. They solved a problem that had been plaguing us for years. read more

Whether it is pest control or irrigation repair, they are terrible just like everyone else on here says they are. Call me stupid, I have used them for 2 years and I have had mole crickets, ants, roaches etc in and around the house and all over the lawn. I call them out and they spray here and there but nothing much changes. My yard still has weeds, bugs and splotches from where the mole crickets have done their damage. If you like wasting your money, they are the company to take advantage of you. I really don't know how they stay in business, their customer service is a joke. Rarely will you get someone "in the office" unless it is to collect a credit card number and the secretary sounds like a 10 year old. DO NOT USE THESE IDIOTS! read more

Avoid this company. There has to be a better company, no one could be worse! I contracted with them several years ago to maintain my lawn after I got tired of applying weed & feed myself. I have spent several thousand dollars with them and my lawn got worse every year. They were responsible for fertilizing, weed control, and insect control. My lawn only got worse. Last year when I complained once again, I was told that the problem was my irrigation system, and if I would only give them one more year and hire them to also maintain my irrigation system, they would guarantee my lawn would improve. They promised that if it wasn't better they would re-sod my yard. They also suggested that I needed to remove several trees and spread topsoil over my yard, which I did. Well, after several years of Massey taking care of my lawn, it is worse than it has ever been. It is now mostly weeds and dirt. I will have to completely resod. But considering what I have spent on lawn care with this compnay, I realize it would be cheaper to just have your lawn completely re-sodded every year or two that to pay Massey to maintain it, or rather "supervise it's neglect." As they say "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!" So I have terminated all contracts with Massey Services. read more

PATHETIC!!! My mom has used Massey for about 15 years with a home that is older. There has never been a termite issue that we are aware of. She is elderly and selling her home and the inspection discovered MINOR termite damage. Of course, Massey is falling back on fine print to decline coverage since no LIVE termites were discovered. Of course they are dead. By the time a few got in and started the damage, the Massey system worked and killed them off before it was bad. So, in theory the system worked...perhaps a little delayed, but it did work. The catch is since it worked and killed them, Massey gets to skip out on fulfilling what my mom believed was protection for her home. Heck, for a fraction of the price, I could have treated the house monthly and accomplished the same thing. POOR company, so glad the protection we have is with a company that will cover us live or dead termites. read more
