Just wanted to spread the word about my recent and ongoing issue with Orange Enviornmental Services. We switched over to them for our lawn care/Spraying and pest control. They offered a great price and were very friendly initially. Promised us the world...I should've known right then. We started having problems right from the beginning but we had never had a lawn service before so we were patient and just trying to work out the kinks.
They presented us with a list of things that would be taken care of on a weekly basis..and the things they said would be done...weren't being done. I felt like I was calling or emailing at least a few times a month to get things resolved. The lawn supervisor did take the time to come out and go over what I wanted done, which I appreciated but also seemed unneccesary because the only things I was "requesting to be done" were the things we were promised in the beginning. Time went by and for a while things were being taken care of relatively well. Then the laziness of the crew became very apparent....they would only be there for 10-15 minutes and half the crew was just sitting around talking. Now, if things had been taken care of, they could've left after 5 mins...I don't care, however that was NOT the case.
The problems continued and weeds were not being cleaned out of the beds..growing very tall..they stopped taking care of the weeds in the cracks in the driveway, which if you live in Eagle Harbor you know, that will get you an HOA letter. We have tall bushes in the back..knowing they can be a pain in the butt I told the supervisor to have the crew cut them down a few inches so they would be easier to maintain for his crew, however, not only was that not done but they also quit trimming them as well. The are supposed to be even at the top and they are currently so overgrown and out of control. This last situation was over 6 weeks of them not taking care of the bushes, leaving letters on the door saying they didn't have their ladder and would get them next visit, now aside of the fact I could see the ladder in the back, you only really need a step ladder to reach the tops of these bushes..and then the next visit or two would come and still not taken care of. I have no idea what they are doing between the bushes on the ground but they have killed all of that grass and there are vines taking all over the bushes, which they don't even bother to cut back when they were trimming the bushes. My yard has never looked worse. They broke a pipe with one of their tools, which things happen...no big deal...however, when you don't tell me and I come home from working all day to a flooded yard and water pouring out of a broken pipe, Im not happy!!! I have no idea how long that water was pouring. I called and gave the supervisor the benefit of the doubt assuming his crew just might not have told him but nope...they sure did and he choose to fix it and not tell me. As I said, things happen, no big deal, but I would have appreciated a simple: "Hey we broke a pipe, we fixed it and I think its okay but just keep an eye on it and if anything is wrong let us know". That's all! Is that so hard??!! He did remove the charges for the month for what I had to pay for someone to come fix it, so at least he did that, but then the message of this wasn't relayed so there was accounting issues with still being charged on my bill, so I had to call back yet again.
Now, after being disgusted with the ongoing issues I call to see about cancelling..however my husband still wanted them to take care of the bushes because we have been paying for that service that they have not been providing..the lawn supervisor tells me there will be a trip charge if they go back out.. Excuse me??!!! Ive been paying you and you haven't been providing this service..why the hell would I pay you more to take care of something you should have already been taking care of??!! He then says I will go take a look and if its 6 weeks overgrown as you say then we will take care of it free of charge because my crew said they did the bushes on 7/1...so not only are you calling me a liar but even if they did come on 7/1, last I checked that is still over a month and it is supposed to be done every 2 weeks. He tells me the accounting manager will call me with the remainder charges in 20 mins....which never happened and he would call me after he went out the next morning and looked and if I was right he would have them do them on Thursday(which was yesterday)...which never happened..so I sent yet another email and phone call and then he finally calls me back telling me they could do the bushes since it had been as long as I said but that it wouldn't be until at least next week until they could do them...knowing I couldn't chance waiting any longer with HOA. Now, I am still responsible to pay remainder dues for the past services which have all been shit??!!!!! This is the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. The manage read more
