Garrett has an unequaled ability to communicate effectively & graciously as an acupuncturist. I prefer the effects of natural restoration, rather than surgery & would heartily recommend Garrett's acupuncture approach, to just about any other alternative....I'm now lifting more than I had 10-years ago, as a result.

She's opened her own place with acupuncture and massage and more. If you've worked with Toni in the past you'll like the new space. If you haven't seen her before and want an acupuncturist, come check her out. The space is large and the treatment rooms are as well. The waiting room is comfortable and easy to sit in. Tony does a full and complete history and discussion of what's brought you in to see her. The first appointment takes longer, but after that appointments are an hour. Parking is in the lot next door, but she's working on getting her own reserved spots.

Ashlyn is a gem in the hard to navigate world of non-traditional medicine. Thousands of…read moreacupuncturists. How do you choose one? Yelp to the rescue! I'm glad I found Ashlyn on here because acupuncture with her has been a fantastic experience. Since going in for treatment, I've felt less stressed, anxious and have more energy to give. I originally went in for some knee / neck injuries, but was also curious to see the effects of acupuncture on anxiety and stress. There's definitely more to her than the treatment itself. Her compassion radiates and she looks at the whole picture (there's a reason your first appointment with her is 90 minutes long and there are no needles used) to give you suggestions for overall health and wellness. I've cut down on coffee significantly, per her suggestion...and that in itself has been a small (but noticeable) change. The first needle treatment we did was a 'cleansing' of sorts, to release the bad 'mojo.' I came into it with an open mind, but knowing that I could truly only measure its effects with how I felt after. The session itself was pretty intense. Lots of sweating -- somewhat painful (but not overwhelmingly so), but I'll tell you that after it, I felt a whole lot of tension leave my body and felt a sense of clarity and happiness. If it was placebo, I'll gladly pay to experience it again. Ashlyn is not cheap, but that's because she spends the entire session with you. Other acupuncturists will often simply stick needles in you and then leave the room, but not her. She simply puts the needle in until the point is stimulated, then withdraws it immediately. It's different than my previous experience, but it works. She also uses matcha quite often to stimulate points before using a needle. I still have ongoing sessions with her, but after a few (the second session where we actually did needle work was more subtle than the first one, but still awesome)...I'm convinced. I'll gladly recommend her to anyone. If you're looking for a phenomenal acupuncturist, stop looking.

A true healer. I went to Ashlyn after I got nerve damage in my arm. My doctor's office had told me…read morethat I would need an archaic and painful procedure, so I decided to try acupuncture first. In one visit, Ashlyn made the pain go away. Based on that experience, I decided to see Ashlyn regularly with my general health concerns. My asthma has never been better and she even helped alleviate some of my morning sickness. If you have gone to acupuncture before, you have probably not been to an acupuncturist like Ashlyn. I used to go a lot when I lived in California, but I had never been to someone who does 5-element acupuncture. Appointments tend to take a bit longer (especially the first one) and she doesn't actually leave the needles in. She does this thing where she puts the needle in until you feel a twinge (I am sure there is some technical name for this) and then takes it out. It may be disconcerting the first time, but I can't argue with the results.

I found Peaceful Water via an online search and didn't even realize it had such strong reviews - but I knew the minute I walked in this was going to be a place I would keep in my arsenal of treatment alternatives. Kevin and his wife, Zoe, have an immaculately clean and very relaxing facility. I was greeted immediately upon entering and asked to fill out the standard paperwork. After it was reviewed, Kevin invited me to a private consultation area where we discussed my issues. For my main concerns, he did his best to explain how those issues could be tied to particular meridians and how he would go about treating me. He explained some of the Chines medicinal options, but he was simply sharing his wealth of knowledge, not trying to convince me or sell me on anything. I've had acupuncture before, but this was over and above from a learning and service experience. The treatment was explained and lasted about 30 minutes. I felt immediate relief even before the session was over. My entire visit lasted about an hour and 15 minutes from paperwork to check out. I would highly recommend Kevin as a practitioner. He has a warm disposition and is very knowledgeable. After one visit, I felt he was sincerely committed to my health & well-being.

Hi there, I want to share my experience with doctor of…read moreNaturopathic Medicine, Benna Lun. Dr. Benna Lun saved my life last year. She isn't just doctor - Dr.LUN REALLY CARES FOR PEOPLE! She helped me first to get rid of my post war trauma. After that we started to peal of layer by layer of my major depression and my fears. At the end all that helped also to diminish my chronic fatigue syndrome. Dr. Lun told me that things are going to be better slowly with the time and that's how it was. I started my treatments with Dr. Lun a year ago. I was in really bad shape. Especially chronic fatigue syndrome was killing me. I wasn't able to talk or do anything more than 20 minutes per day. I just wanted to die. Dr. Lun was listening to me very carefully and patient for what I have to say. Every word was important to her. It meant a lot to me that there is finally some doctor really interested in what I have to say and able to help. Dr. Lun started her therapy with me right away and she was all the time very persistent to do everything what was in her power to help me. That made me, the first time since I become sick, that I wanted to continue with my life. She helped me to gain strength. I became positive in my way of thinking and I figured out that we have to help ourselves also in order to heal. Dr. Lun is very knowledgeable and methodical doctor, capable and determined in everything what she is doing. She used several very different therapies, and all her very good skills, in order to help me. I finished my treatment with Dr. Lun by the end of last year and I am feeling better and better every day. Believe me she knows what she is doing! Thank you Dr. Lun for saving my life. Thank you for being there for me every moment of my treatments. Thank you that you never gave up on me, even when I didn't have more money left to pay for my treatments. Even than you where so persistent to finish what you have started.
