Jenny and Maria are both really awesome. Went for a couples massage and had a wonderful experience!

Massage was good , but at the end , the last asked for more tip then I gave ... Edit: Massage star owner called me after this and was very rude and now I see this very unhinged response. If the owner just explained that they fired her, I could've removed the review (which I doubt they did, how could you if you did not know about this for 822 days). But instead, they are mocking my review. And for your information, I left a $20 tip for a couples massage and she asked for more. Yes, people are allowed to leave a review, way after the fact "Bro". STAY AWAY from this place read more

Just dropping by to say that my experience with the owner on my google review is absolutely unhinged. If he didn't just "ban" me, I'd be kinda scared to go back we didn't like the service, but this is so weird read more

Best massage of my life!!!! I have had deep tissue massages all around the world and this was so amazing-I will definitely be going back.

Never once have I had a bad massage here. So kind and listen to your needs! It's the best deep tissue ever!

No frills but a good massage. I would recommend this place if you need a decently priced full body massage. My massage was effective and I felt refreshed afterwords. Great for increasing flexibility and relieving muscle tension. A word of caution if you have areas that should not be stretched, let them know. Overall felt they for the money it's a decent value, but if you are looking for the spa experience look elsewhere. read more

Felt like jelly after so amazing and relaxing definitely coming back. They were very professional and friendly

Awesome spot! Very professional And kind! Inwas able to get what i wanted ! Ty so much!

I won't go anywhere else. I suffer from SI joint dysfunction and coming here brings me immediate relief. I have seen most of the available practitioners and can say they're consistent in strength and treatment. They do a very good job at finding your pain points without needing to be told where they are, everything feels amazing. My first appointment was with Jenny and my last with Maria, check them out! read more

I went in with a core and back issue. The therapist Sammie worked on my core for an hour and a half and stretched me out. Very responsive and good listener. She was awesome. read more

This place is a scam. The website says you are required to book online, so I attempted to do that. I entered my data and credit card information. The website kept saying I missed a field. I checked multiple times, tried logging in, tried viewing it differently, but still unable to book it. When it finally processed, it was too late for me to go to the appointment, so I canceled it. I even called Massage Star to ensure it didn't process and the guy said it didn't. But they charged my credit card anyway. I called Massage Star again and the front desk guy raised his voice at me, even though I wasn't trying to be confrontational, I was trying to understand what was going on. I even told him to please lower his voice. All in all, there are many other places in Tampa to go with better experience. read more

Massage star always does a great job and the prices are fair. Got sick of the Massage Envy chain because they don't really work your muscles. I feel like I get much more bang for my buck at massage star and the ladies are very sweet. read more

Amazing. Massage and facial with my girlfriend for a holiday visit... so relaxing. Perfect firmness to zen ratio.

The fact that the hot stones, facial massages, and hot towel all included in the couples massages which honestly wasn't long enough. Will definitely be returning very soon. 6 Stars if I could! Thank you guys so much! read more

I found this amazing gem place incidentally and I'm SO GLAD I DID. Absolutely the best massage ever! Euie was amazing! She asked me where I wanted to her to focus and I told her my back and she was amazing! I slept a bit through it because Of how relaxing it was! I had talked to John the owner to redeem Yelp offer and they he was so professional and attentive to what I was asking. They open until 9:30 so its great if you need a great massage after a long day. Very relaxing, clean and quiet place! Will definitely be returning and being a regular here. Pricing ranges but they start at $70 but so worth it! Yelpies! There is $5 off when you check in! read more

Even though I had to cancel my appointment, I was so impressed with how kind, professional, and understanding the team at Massage Star was. They responded with such warmth and made the process completely stress-free. It's clear they genuinely care about their clients and go above and beyond to make sure you feel valued (even if you're not able to make it in). I'm really looking forward to booking with them in the future. Their customer service alone says so much about the kind of experience you can expect here! read more

This place has a 5 star rating for a reason. Book everything online, you can even leave the tip. Walk in receive excellent service, walk out. Literally was able to book a last minute appointment on Mother's Day. The process was super simple and the massage extremely affordable. $90 for a combo 90 minute massage 60 mins total body & 30 mins Foot massage All in all paid $120 because I pre-tipped. The massage was heavenly. I informed her I was super sore from the gym and the biceps needed special attention. She went right to work. Completely professional Massage, even did the scalp too. Not only massaged the biceps but did a nice stretch of them as well. Additional oil, lotion, hot towel, and hot stones all included. No Additional Fee. For the person who thinks this experience was to good to be true. I'm glad you think that, go book a massage a prepared to be proven wrong. For everyone else, enjoy an A++ place at and affordable price read more

Massage Star is the Best! I've been coming here for a while and they never disappoint. The staff is very professional, super courteous, well trained, and use real eastern techniques. You can usually get same day reservations, which is very convenient. My go to is the 1.5 or 2 HR Deep Tissue. Pro Tip: when making an appointment, you can call or text them...I usually opt for text. Definitely try them out!!! read more

Hands down, one of the best massages I've ever had; Jenny was amazing and so attentive! I left feeling so relaxed. The staff is friendly and inviting and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. Highly recommend Massage Star for a relaxing and effective massage. read more

Tried paying cash and the owner said absolutely not. Which isn't a big deal at all then he went on about how massage parlors are getting robbed and people are getting murdered for cash then personally insulted me and kicked me out of the store. read more

What a wonderful surprise! My massage therapist, "Jenny" was awesome! I booked a one hour therapeutic massage and ended up extending to 90 minutes. It was the first time experiencing cupping and she had great technique. I came in with a tension headache and left feeling so good read more

I smashed L1 vertebra in my back. It was surgically rebuilt. Unfortunately the nerves leaving that vertebra were pinched and now I suffer hot, searing pain that will bring me to my knees. I needed help. The pain starts in the lower back and it goes down through the glutes, groin and thighs. I called John, the owner, and he knows of my pain. I came in and met Sabrina. Wow! This lady has hands of steel. She worked on my back and gave me back my life. She has got to be one of the best therapist in the Tampa! read more

Gracie was excellent! I made a last minute booking on a Sunday afternoon for a deep tissue / Thai massage. My shoulder was killing me and Gracie took the care of watching not to hurt me but tackling the issue... along with the knots I had in my other shoulder that I didn't even realize I had... she discovered those too. I had amazing massage by Jeny. I was recommend and I also recommend it to those look around Tampa area to come to this place.

Wow I didn't know what to expect at this place, I came across their page when I was in pain from my new hobbies and needed a deep tissue massage. I decided to book for the next day, very easy & convenient to do online. I originally booked 60 minutes but I decided on the spot I wanted a 90 minutes combo massage and they were accommodating! My masseuse therapist was Lily and she was Amazing! I never felt so relaxed that I fall asleep, but I did, this was amazing and I recommend it to everyone, I will be coming back! read more

Extremely rude and arrogant man answered the phone asked if they had any availability today and if I could pre-pay with cash because I'm waiting for my new credit card to come in and he tells me we do not accept cash because we don't want our massage therapist to be murdered and robbed. Their app doesn't even work for Apple phones eceb turning screen side ways. Disgusting that Florida is allowing someone that doesn't accept us legal tender. read more

We needed a long overdue massage from our travels. We did our research on Yelp! After reading the reviews we decided this place is legit and proper. We went online, booked, and paid for a 60 mins couple massage here. The masseuses were great. They both asked if the strength is correct and what areas are bothering us. I was really tight and tension, she really helped me release the knots in my back. She worked on some of my acupressure/acupoint. They offer hot stone and cupping with no additional cost. However due to timing, I didn't get to try the hot stone or cupping. We will return again next time. read more

went for a massage yesterday morning, I was the 9:30 slot, so first in for the day. the lady at the front desk didn't welcome me, just asked me immediately if i was the 9:30 slot, i said yes and she said "show me your ID", & nearly snatched it out of my hand when i gave it to her. she stood up and told me to follow her to the room- really wasn't enjoying my time there at this point bc this was very harsh and she had no care to be more welcoming/pleasant. had my massage therapist come in, didn't really greet me either just began the massage. she also initially just left the door open to the room we were in, and I had to ask her if she could shut the door for my privacy. it was a very OK massage. she also was too rough at some points and I repeatedly asked her to be more gentle. tipped her 19% because I know everyone has money they need to make and while she was nice, honestly the service overall didn't really deserve that. will not come back edit: your place is a shack and you talk to people on here like you have money to lose!!! teach your staff proper massage techniques at least too do better... read more

Professional, skilled and convenient! My boyfriend and decided last minute to search for a local massage therapist. (I've been a member of a major brand massage company since 2011 but rarely get a last minute appointment.) Thanks to a quick Yelp seat We landed on Massage Star. Online scheduling followed by a confirmation - impressive. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and asked for our IDs. Since we read the rules beforehand, we had them ready. We were lead to the couple's room, prepared for our arrival. Our therapists worked out all the knots and smoothed the rough spots. Amazing! I won't be renewing my long time massage membership elsewhere. read more

Jenny was incredible! I had pinched a nerve in my neck/shoulder area sleeping and she did a great job with the therapeutic massage loosening it up. It feels so much better and feeling better each day. This is twice I've used their service and both times have been excellent. I highly recommend this place in Tampa. They have so many services with different lengths of time. Price is very reasonable and there's no annoying conversations about signing up for a contract. read more
