Always good. Clean. Friendly 9yr. customer. All are Well trained. CALL AHEAD. They get busy. My favorite is the 90 min. Combo. They can be strong so if you can't handle deep tissue work. Tell them you want mild pressure. I love it. Gets all the knots out. I can always count on them. For best massage experience....Take off ALL Jewlery, watch. Before you get there. ...WEAR FLIP FLOOS OR SLIDERS. Wear a tank top, neck exposed no racer back. work out type clothes/ sports bra and shorts so they can massage. Get there 20 min EARLY. Parking is tight. Don't go during Chinese new year. (First 2 wks.of Feb.) Their usually light staffed because their away celebrating. I hope this is helpful. ENJOY. read more

It was pretty good. I got the combo and took my hubby for a combo. He had a firm pressure mine was very light. I do not like light. But I decided to see what it would do. It definitely felt great on my feet. As far as the end result. But the back and neck was not good. I tipped 30% because I felt like my husband was happy. So together the rating came to a 4. But mine was more of 3.for overall experience. We called to book an appointment, however when we got there on we had to wait. Which I expect with no appointment. The music was extremely loud and the dualing water features (one on each side of the room) were making it hard to relax. I would recommend ear plugs if you are sensitive to sounds, I am not but it was still overwhelming. I would go back and try again. This time with ear plugs and ask for deeper massage and maybe do 1.5 hours. read more

Have to admit I had misconstrued this place as a happy massage spot bc of the name and shady store front until I went in for myself after my friend recommended it. Had I read the Yelp reviews I'd have known it's a legit spa. The reviews also make me believe you either love it or hate it. I love it. It's not your typical spa massage with just tissue massage. They utilize Eastern methods focusing on pressure points, so it's a combination of a relaxing spa along with some not so relaxing functional massage. Their goal is to treat the body as a whole, and they believe these specific areas will help treat the body based on the nervous system. You'll be in a room with partitions, and it's still tranquil and private enough for one to relax, in my opinion. The staff speak very little English, which is fine by me since you don't want to converse or hear others chit chatting in the shared space. Glad I came to experience it for myself! read more

I got an awesome massage by David! He really focused on reflexology and knew exactly which pressure points to use. The space is clean. For the foot and back combo, you are in a semi private area with other beds. You keep your clothes on. If you do the full body massage, I was told it's in private rooms. The prices have changed and it's not updated on the website. Located conveniently on Kennedy Blvd next to Renzos steakhouse. read more

All I can say is I had a great foot massage. My masseuse worked out all aches and pains from my ankles to my toes.

Wow, what a Gem in Tampa. Stumbled in last min just to try out since I was in town for couple days, which I ended up coming 2 days in a row! residents are lucky to have such good massage place for this price! Almost wanting to make quarterly trips from Orlando.. read more

I had a tight neck and decided to give this place a try due to the amount of reviews and proximity. I originally opted for 60 min deep tissue but after enjoying myself. I asked to do 75 mins. The massage was painful at times and even after a few days later my back is still tender. But the tightness is gone and it was a great massage. I heard so much crackling in my shoulder area I couldn't believe it. It's been a while since I've had a massage and this was much needed. They massaged head to toes. Literally! I had my ear holes rubbed which was a first. But hey.. I'm down for something new. This was a great checkin and I loved that they even used hot stones. Wonderful upgrades that are included. read more

They got an operation going in here. Things are organized well. I got a combo massage and my feet were happy (no pun intended). The seller the pressure the more it unlocked all the tension I was holding. I eventually was out like a light. I hope I didn't snore (or too loudly) and disturb anyone else experience. I'd definitely return here. read more

Amazing massage therapist. Make you feel so relaxed and right at home. Very cozy inside area.

I don't even know where to begin but I have had many massages before and this place is so terrible. The masseuse has no idea what he is doing, he kept pushing and pounding on my back like I was a stuff animal. There was no technique what so ever. It's always a hit and miss with these places, they hire anyone from overseas and just let them work on clients without any proper training at all. He literally put a towel on my body and just rub on the towel from my shoulder to my legs and even got very grabby towards my butt are. PLEASE BE AWARE AND NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AND LET THEM DO THAT TO YOU. I feel so disgusted after the massage and I'm need another proper massage. The place seems so shady. read more

Was excited to go; scheduled a 90 minute foot massage. Lady spent 40-50 minutes on feet with weak pressure and the rest on a light touch body massage. Website advertised the price as 105 and she quoted me 110 afterwards. I was not happy with the service and tipped accordingly. She repeatedly asked me, "that's it?!" to which I responded, "Yea, sorry. I'm not happy" She scoffed as I walked away. Definitely not going back. read more

Amazing spot. Super relaxing and clean. I have been here several times and have always enjoyed this spot.

I didn't know what to expect when I made the appointment. We received a couples gift certificate for an hour massage. We were greeted at the reception desk and quickly taken back to our massage chairs. The ambiance was very peaceful and spa type relaxing music was playing. Peter was who worked on me and I was very pleased with the service. I would compare it more to a medical massage. He quickly found all of my problem spots and worked on the muscle knots. This was unlike any other massage I've experienced. They soak your feet and spend extra time on your feet. They also have you keep your clothes on and cover you with blankets. I will certainly be returning in the future as I left extremely relaxed and feeling good. read more

I've been coming here for years; the establishment is Clean, and staffs are professional.

This was such a relaxing experience! The whole foot experience into the whole body (with clothes on) massage. The hour was a perfect amount of time for us - 30 mins with feet and 30 mins with clothes on body massage. It's in a whole open room but it still felt like a one-on-one experience. You can't beat the price either! Different time lengths and different prices to make everyone happy. They prefer cash for tips - as do most places. I will definitely be back! read more

What I liked most about Happy foot spa was their ability to accomadate walkins. At times massage parlors are booked for hours with appointments and IDK about anyone else, but when I get that desire for a foot rub, I want it promptly or else my desire in it goes away. Not only were they capable of taking me in within 10 mins, the foot rub was awesome and just what I needed. I was greeted by a kind woman who essentially told me what they offered and made it easier directing my eyes to a sign listing services with prices. They offer not only offer 30,60, 90 mins foot massages, but also combo massages which I assume consist of a mixture of feet and body. I purchased a 60 min foot reflexology massage. Since this wasn't my first foot reflexology experience, I wasn't surprised that the massage would be located in a large central room with other customers getting massages. This might be surprising to new customers, but this setup is common if not standard for Chinese reflexoIogy. The experience is still relaxing and the massage therapists are cool with requests for increase firmness. Place was clean and reasonably priced. I'm happy Tampa has this business for it's residents and commuters needing a good foot rub. read more

My feet definitely left happy! After waking up with random foot pain while visiting Tampa, I wanted to find a spot for a foot massage to work out the kink. Happy Foot was able to get me in day-of and had a good rating on Yelp, so they won my business! Upon arrival, the waiting room was small and there is a little fountain offering the sounds of water droplets into a pool to help you get in a relaxed mood. We didn't stop to enjoy as we were quickly escorted to the back. There was a couple in the back of the room but we were sat in the first two chair closest to the door. There was music playing softly and we were told to lay down on the chair and put our feet up on the ottoman. I swear it seems like time flies during this 30 minute period! Just the right amount of pressure and massaging on each pressure point. I don't know much about reflexology, but I can tell you that it felt awesome! A few misses were not telling the couple down at the end to shhh! Also there was a room freshener that went off during my massage and it totally threw off my zen. Other than that, definitely worth the $30-something for 30 minutes of relaxation! read more

9/10 I usually have a good experience Sometimes the people massaging you can be too gentle or too hard. read more

Been back every month for two years. The massage (foot and back combo) is more like a sport massage. Be sure to tell them gentle pressure if you aren't used that style. Drink a lot of water when you leave-they do a great job for athletes...but don't go overly sore or you'll be sweating . read more

I really enjoyed my massage at Happy Foot. Over the years I've become a fan of reflexology massage spas because I honestly believe the gift of touch is an actual gift. No amount of massage schooling can make someone a natural born healer. That being said I am often disappointed when I go to get a massage. However I find more practitioners with this gift in Chinese foot spas. There's a possibility as in the Philippines with "hilot" practitioners, most Chinese don't go into this profession unless they have "the gift." I also don't mind getting a fully nude massage normally, but at the Chinese Foot Spas this is unnecessary and unless you ask for a private room, you are fully clothed and you get a massage with a room full of other people. I honestly don't know if happy foot even has private rooms. It's Tony in comparison to other Chinese Foot Spas I've been to. Of course everything is tiny is S.Tampa. However, you really do get a damn good massage with all of your clothes on. So the guy I got on my first visit was definitely gifted. You never say anything to the practitioners and they don't ask you what your pain points are (heck I'm not even certainly they speak English), but they always "feel" your issues as they give you a massage. Starting with my head and face I was immediately relaxed. I had a really bad crick in my neck and as usual I have knots all over my scapulae and he worked out the exact spots that needed a good manipulation. The arm and hand massage was great and the palpitations were even soothing. The foot massage was standard for Chinese Reflexology, which is always way better than you get at a regular massage spa. My biggest complaint is that I prefer laying on my stomach during the back massage. This is the first time I had to sit up, hold my core tight and push back so my back could be properly massaged. Don't get me wrong he did a great job! I just wish I didn't have to work a little at the end. This is a good tactic for them to get a sleeping person up and ready to get out of the door. I've been to places where you turn over or where you walk over to another table to lay down on for the back portion, but this was my first professional back massage sitting up. Perhaps they can bring in massage chairs for the back in the future. All and all I expect to come back and fill up my loyalty card! read more

Receptionist very rude. She was cursing someone on the phone. FYI this dirty place don't change the towels on the beds and the one they use under the client head. When I asked the masseuse to change the towel, she couldn't understand English anymore. Hygiene at the place is none existent. I didn't relax because the masseuse was looking at the clock for the whole hour. I won't go again. read more

New owners are so rude, first they raise price instantly upon taking over the business, bring in all new staff, which are about half as good as the old staff, then they overcharged me when i used my coupon (10 visits =$40 off). I paid $20 after discount , tipped $10 but my card was charged $70?! I went in and asked about it bc i saw it on my cc app , the guy said i had to call the owner lol Then it got really weird, i told him refund my card or im calling the cops , the guy had given himself a $50 tip instead of $10. Now he's on FaceTime with the owner and she's yelling in some other language, ridiculous i won't be back the place next to LA fitness on dale mabry is wayyyyyy better and cheaper! read more

My first time here and I'm realizing I need to make this an at least monthly visit. My bf and I booked a 90 min couple's massage. They are friendly, easy to make an appointment or just walk in, and accommodating. The place is clean and comfortable. Not even exaggerating - probably one of the best massages I've received in a long long time. My masseuse identified all my pressure and problematic points without me even having to utter a word. Thank you. I feel so much better and ready ready for another work week. read more

This place is fantastic!!! We stumbled in here on a rainy day and didn't expect too much. The staff is amazing, it's so relaxing and cozy, super clean and the best massage and reflexology offered. We did 1 hours which was 30 min massage, and 30 mins reflexology for $49 total. I will no longer go to the regular spa because all my problem areas were fixed under one hour here. They really know their stuff and work very hard for make it an excellent experience. read more

I've been here a couple times and it's always a good experience. They're a little more expensive than most reflexology I've been to, but they get me in even if I don't have an appointment and the massage is always great. The 75 minute combo is perfect. Highly recommend checking it out! read more

Not happy to post this review since I had a couple good experiences here, but last night was truly bad customer service. I called at 1 PM on Sunday to make a reservation for 3 people, they said specifically to come in at 5 PM. I asked them if they needed my name and they said "we have your phone number, it's fine". I came in at 4:50 and nobody was in the lobby helping customers. They came out and took the lady in front of us in at 5:10 but we kept waiting alone in the lobby till almost 5:30. I had to knock on the door to get someone to help us 30+ minutes after our "reservation", and they told us that they had no room and it would be another 30-45 minutes. Long story short, don't take reservations if you won't honor them, and don't make people wait in your lobby alone without having someone at the front desk. I won't come here again. read more

Happy Foot Spa - First time here, seem' s very calm peaceful and relaxing! - Massage Near Me - Tampa, Florida

I don't know why most of these reviews are so good, because my experience was not. The reception was nice and welcoming, the chairs were mediocre at best and rough one sensitive low back, however, these are not the reason for this review. The techniques used by my massage therapist and my buddy's therapist were almost abrasive, like rug burn abrasive. We asked for a 75 minute foot and hand massage, which they spent about 2 minutes on my hands, maybe 20 minutes on my actual feet and the rest of the time, they massaged the inside of my calf in one spot for minutes at a time and the rest was on the outside of my chin bone. They rubbed these spots so long that we both left with rashes and felt like we were getting rug burn on our legs versus an intelligent, well designed foot massage. This place may be the best in Tampa Bay, but it's a farce compared to China town in NY and Bostons establishments. Do not bother going. read more

Such a great place, we were in town looking for a great place to get a relaxing foot massage and this place did the job!

If you want to know what heaven feels like.... please come here! I work standing on my feet all day. Every time I come here I leave extremely relaxed and de stressed! The massages are nice and strong and it's more than just a foot massage. It's a full body treatment session. I literally drove an hour just to come here, they are THAT good! **Don't forget to Tip your masseuse. read more

This place is legit for many reasons but mostly because of the value! If you've ever hesitated to try foot reflexology, hesitate no more or you will be ripping yourself off :) After a long day in heels or standing, this is the perfect time to unwind and release the tension. They give an incredible foot massage but before they start they soak your feet and give you an arm and back massage. For the next hour you are lying down on a comfortable reclined chair while your tired soles are attended to. The pressure is usually harder, so if you would like them to accommodate you have to speak up. I've never made an appointment and have been able to walk in and be sat right away. For an hour they charge $39.99 and I haven't seen or been to anyplace in the Tampa area with a deal like this. Actually it's more like a full body massage with a focus on the feet so it makes it an even better deal. I've been to foot reflexology places in NYC because they are all over and this compares right up there with the best of them! read more

Happy Foot Spa - R and R - Massage Near Me - Tampa, Florida

Very professional, clean and great as massaging for a good value. I highly recommend.

Pretty decent little Chinese foot massage place. It is what you would expect with lots of chairs/massage tables. I personally would rather be massaged by a female but the man who took care of my services was definitely skilled and his trade. Only downside was I thought it was a little cold in there and The water that they use to soak your feet before the massage was not hot. It was lukewarm at the most. All in all when I left I was extremely relaxed and felt as if my feet were walking on clouds. I love Chinese traditional reflexology and foot massage and wish there was a place closer to home but this one is definitely worth the 30 minute drive. read more
