Came here around 8pm on a Wednesday, we were quickly greeted and attended to. Prices are average for the area. My friend and I went for the body and foot massage with oil and hot stones. I wish there was more of a focus on the foot part, but overall it was a very nice experience. My friend found this place on Groupon, and we paid ahead for a service for three people. We booked in advance and arrived on time. However, they didn't have enough therapists, so the boss had to step in, and she greeted us with an attitude. Unfortunately, I got her as my therapist. She barely applied any pressure and kept leaving the room. My friend, in the same room, had a different therapist who didn't leave her side. I had to stop the service early and politely asked to use my voucher another time when they had more staff. The boss refused and said I had already used 30 minutes. I asked for a partial refund, but she yelled at me to leave. Overall, it was a terrible experience. Please don't come here, or at least don't get her as your therapist. read more

He called back and left a voicemail then still proceeded to call me again after the voicemail so I answered and I just simply told him I didn't appreciate his service and how I was being spoken to ( spa's are relaxing why he was worked up idk) and I changed my mind and no longer wanted to book the appointment . ( Maybe to your face) Then he kept arguing with me back and forth ( very unprofessional) He continued to instigate, instead of letting me not book the appointment. Response to owner : I didn't have an issue about not getting ahold of you I was happy just to know you were still open . But blaming your customers for your bad customer service isn't okay . Let me start by saying how excited I was to get a last minute couples massage with my hubby. This is the first time we've gotten one together and was hoping to find a place we can go to regularly. When I called to get pricing, a man answered the phone he quoted me $63 for a couples massage: 1 hour with hot stone. I thought wow this is a great deal and booked. Upon arriving we were greeted by a rude woman who I assume is the owner or manager. She told us it's $70 and we pay now. Umm okay wow. I told her I was told $63 on the phone and she rolled her eyes and said okay but you pay now. Fine.. although that red flag should have sent me and hubby running out the door. After an hour of an okay massage in the cold, which didn't shock me as I knew what the price was. It was time for us to go to the front.. We handed each lady $6, so a total of $12, which mind you is technically 20%. The nasty woman in the front proceeded to say it's not enough and we need to give $10 each. Excuse me? I said absolutely not and she said it was mandatory. My husband gave them the additional money as I walked out. We will NOT be going back. Groupon for the win!! My partner is a hawk when it comes to catching good deals on Groupon. The other night she came across this deal of an hour long massage with hot stone and cupping for under $50...yes please! Of course she bought two. :-) We show up to our appointment and honestly from the outside looking in...it looks closed. VERY dark. But I guess that makes sense for the aesthetic. So we walk in and show the woman in front our Groupon code and she tells us to wait. This is a smaller location basically separated by curtains so be prepared to hear everything. They do pump in some light piano music throughout but you can still hear everything. Not that big a deal. We are taken back to our room and are told to lay down. First test for me...being that I am 6'8" and over 300lbs I always worry about the tables being strong enough. Good news...VERY strong. Soon as we had our clothes/items in the supplied baskets and told them we were ready...they jumped right to it so BE READY! There is no gentle walk on and intro conversation! These women come in...take care of business...get out. For some this can be off putting but I didn't mind at all. As for the massage itself it was fantastic, ESPECIALLY for the price! (Thank you Groupon). They had consistent pressure throughout all portions (massage, hot stone and cupping). The only negative we could find was back to what I said earlier...BE READY! They do not warn you between segments of the massage. So you will be getting massaged...she leaves for a second...and then BOOM, hot stones. Lol. As I said some parts of this massage were a little jarring. All that being said, in my opinion Groupon wins again. I DON'T have an issue with the points people usually complain about this place: 1. They don't speak English at all: it's totally fine to me. I'm an immigrant myself and I support immigrant workers. 2. They chase after you for tips. I usually give a generous tips at Chinese massage places because the price is already cheap. At least I know the tips go directly to the techincians and not the owners. It's ok for them to expect tips. 3. Rude attitude at front desk: come on people, it's not a luxury place. You come here for a massage. Period. Don't expect to pay $20-$30 and be treated like a queen/king. So why 1 star? The massage itself was a total failure. I ended up with weird back pain now. I was totally fit and healthy before the massage. I told them the massage was not good but I gave $5 tips anyway. Of course they gave attitude and pointed at the board "minimum tips $10". We just went here for a couples massage. I really like it my masseuse was very gentle and applied the right pressure. Her massage didn't feel rushed too and it was very relaxing. My friend brought me to this place for a little Christmas treat and it was so great. Everyone was very friendly. I don't know who did my massage but she was this younger lady. I liked my massages easy and she did such a good job that I felt asleep only half way in. The price is very cheap for both feet and body massage. Only $35 for over an hour long. This place might not be the greatest spa, but in terms of pricing, for sure no other spa can beat this place. Highly recommend you guys to try out at least one time. UPDATE: There was a portion of the massage where the lady moved quickly through some stretches, but they we're abrupt and rough. I had a flare up of an old knee injury and have been struggling for the past four days with pain and difficulty with stairs (and I use a lot). Stretching needs to be slow and deliberate, not abrupt and rough. I won't be going back. So this was a really interesting place. It's one big common room with curtains separating the beds. The lady up front greeted us right away. We were early, and we had to wait a half hour to go back. If you're shy this message is not for you. You are covered with a small towel and the women actually climb on top of you at points and that towel wasn't always covering everything. Luckily I am not shy but this would have been awkward for some. About 15 minutes in a TV went on really loud for a half an hour. There was a kid in the front when we left so maybe it was him? It was distracting. Also, the curtain doesn't block out the sounds of other couples, including cell phone texts :( The massage was good (and pretty rough) but I like a bit more privacy.
