At the behest of a co-worker, I made an appointment at Restoration Massage for the $35/one hour massage special for new clients and have been blown away by their dedication, service and skill since. My first appointment was with a decent masseuse who is no longer at Restoration, but my kudos have to go to Lisa, the owner. In the past when I've told massage therapists that I prefer "firm" pressure they either continue as they were and ignore me or go way too hard. Lisa knew just what I wanted and she communicated with me through out our session to make sure I was feeling good and comfortable. The therapists at Restoration also check in with you before and after your session (both times when you're clothed and off the table) to see how you're doing and what you'd like/ how you felt the session went. They're still running their new client special, if you haven't gone there yet make an appointment before they stop running it, it's totally worth it.

She was right, and if you don't call Beth Ann for your next massage you are making a big- big mistake. In a quiet lakeside studio, Beth Ann greats you with warmth and hospitality. She has a lovely calm manner about her and an infectious smile. The spa experience begins at the front door. The scent of oils and potions that will make your sore muscles into butter at her touch. She is professional, and although not offering medical advise, can explain what your doctor doesn't about how muscles move attach and repair. She offers a variety of services, Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, sports, prenatal and chair. Her rates are affordable, so that you can see her more often to sooth the stress away. I am a spa hound. If I wasn't in so much pain I would have never gone back. Once in the room, you are covered only with a towel, which was damp and no heat on the table. I told the person where the issues where and she just did her thing. I left with the same pain. I have been seeing message therapists for years. One for 25 years now my new one for 3 years. They both have a table with sheets, blanket and the table is heated. If this was not enough, when I gave her a 20% tip, she asked for more. Obviously they don't want repeat business and why I was able to get in the same day I called. Don't waste your time or money.

This is not your average place, much better than a massage envy and very professional and extra touches make it nice (after massaging with oil and lotion they wipe you clean at the end with a warm towel as to not mess any of your clothes, use of warm oil and hot stones, massaging head with oil, etc.). This spot is a hidden gem! Definitely give them a try, you won't be disappointed! Courtney

I've seen so many doctors along with seeing physical therapists and top professionals as well as massage therapists across the U.S. Nothing seemed to help or even give me the quality of life I was looking for. My muscles, joints and bones are all problematic. I had lost all hope. Until I came across Sara Smith massage therapy. After the first ten minutes of my visit I realized she has a special gift. She is extremely in tune with the human body's muscles, bones and nerves. I've been going every week for two years. She has helped me more than any doctor ever had in the past 15 years!! I highly recommend trying it out. Even if you have had massages in the past. And I'm not the only one because she's booked weeks in advance.
