My 18 year old son missed ( totally forgot even after confirming) ( and very irresponsible) the appointment he had with Shallon. The appointment notifications were being sent directly to him via text and email. I had NO CLUE of his appointment date and time. Nor did I know that he missed his appointment. I found out about his appointment and subsequent no-show from an email I received from Shallon informing me she cancelled MY PERSONAL appointment because my son missed his appointment. Trust me, had I known he had an appointment he would not have missed it. She sends me this passive aggressive email berating ME for my adult son missing his appointment alluding that it was my responsibility to let her know and apologize to her for him missing the appointment. I HAD NO CLUE!!! She has my phone number, she could have called me to let me know what happened. I would have happily paid for the missed appointment. I have been a responsible client, have always booked expensive appointments and have tipped her very well, even bought different oil concoctions she's sold in her shop. Along with her canceling my appointment without her contacting me directly, she goes and pettily removes me from business IG page like I wronged her somehow. She handled this situation ver unprofessionally and like a petty teenager. I'll make sure to let everyone I've recommended to her know how she is. Grow up Shallon!

If you're planning on going here, be comfortable being in your underwear (you'll be covered with a towel) and the ladies will massage all of your body (yes, butt included because you DO have muscles there) but I promise, your private parts will NOT be exposed. The ladies are pretty strong lol so tell them whether you want it hard, medium, soft. They have a fan in the rooms and they offer you a water or soda after your massage. I'm sure they take walk ins for full body or foot massage, but I always call an hour or two before going in & they accommodate me & my boyfriend. This is the one you need if you are super tight. Now, don't get excited. It's a different experience, but just go with it. She will be using her feet (she holds onto bars on the ceiling to manage her weight distribution) to help work out those knots. For me, I was so tight my back crunched like I was at a chiropractor. And boy, did I need that. Head to toe including some facial and scalp, and foot message. I left in so much less pain and greater range of motion than I'd had in weeks. Definitely worth the $70/hr (I think 90 minutes is $100) but even that would be worth it.

I must say my appointment was on time and professional. Rida is a true master at doing natural hair!! Her prices are very reasonable and fair. I have a lot of thick, long hair. She literally washed, conditioned, and trimmed my hair within 1hr 15min I was walking out the door! I have never had a stylist finish my hair that quick.
