The very next day, Jason performed my first adjustment. Knowing that I was a newbie and a little nervous, he took his time and explained things thoroughly. I heard and felt many cracks in my back and neck, but it did not hurt. I was surprised how quick the adjustment process was and I felt some immediate relief. It's now about 48 hours since my adjustment and I'm continuing to feel better and better. Pain is gone and the numbness in my leg and foot is almost gone. Scheduling appointments is easy and pleasant because of their always-smiling office manager, Jordan. I grew up being taught that chiropractic medicine was a bunch of quackery- not true! I am now a believer. In the months prior to my first experience with chiropractic, I had several sessions of physical therapy and Cortisone injections. The "Dr" took time to listen to my issues and did multiple adjustments and I felt much better. I saw him again my second visit with the same experience. Then came visit 3. That person did not listen to anything I asked for. Used the traction table and adjusted one spot. I was literally in and out in less than a minute. I gave it another shot and went in again. This time there was a female who kept asking me how I wanted to be adjusted. I told her like the first couple of times for my lower back and leg. She tried 3 times to adjust with me on my side. She was petite in height and had to almost jump up and then slid off and couldn't even do the adjustment. The original "Dr" I saw was there and I asked him if he could adjust me. He asked what she did and I told him nothing that she had the table "pop" but I felt nothing and she wasn't even on the side I was having issues. He then tried to tell me that didn't mean anything and you can be adjusted without your body popping. I am aware how chiropractic adjustments work, I didn't need him to be condescending to me. I just left and stopped at the front t to cancel. I told the receptionist that now I understood why 2 people came in upset to cancel when I was signing up and I should have listened to my gut. Then the "Dr" came up and told her not to charge me anymore, he approved to NOT be charged the second month that was part of the contract. I asked for that in writing and he said I had it on the cancellation paper. I told him no, it only said cancel after contracted date. He told me I just heard him authorize it to the receptionist and she was my witness. I asked for him to write that in my paper and he refused. I went to the bank, they will not get anymore money from me but their practices are ridiculous. It seems only one person actually knows what they are doing to get you in the door then the rest use a table to make it seem like you are being adjusted. Everyone except the one "Dr" used the table, he did not and if you question them at all they are quick to get you out the door. I will be going back to what I can only call a real chiropractor. It may not be as convenient with my schedule but at least I receive treatment.
