She is very knowledgeable about anatomy, is really intuitive with her touch and her abilities to find my problem areas and unravel them, her pressure is spot on, and she does amazing assisted stretching which really helps with both my flexibility and my recovery from exercise. She was my go to therapist for about seven years, even though her location required about a 45 minute drive each way from where I was living in Pflugerville. I typically saw her twice a month, and the experience was well worth the drive. A few years ago, a couple of family and work changes made it nearly impossible to make the drive down to her studio. I'm happy to say that that has changed now and I'm able to get back to see her on a regular basis. I admit that I have been forgetting to check in and to write this review for a while because I usually am so much more relaxed when I leave - I stop thinking of anything I need to do! Hayley is excellent at deep tissue massage and finding places I didn't even know were bothering me based on what I did know was wrong. She takes classes and continuing education classes to continue to expand her knowledge and add new techniques to her repertoire and she gives me helpful exercises and posture advice to try to keep me healthy in between sessions. There is plenty of parking space at her new location on 1221 W Ben White Blvd - when you get to the complex you want to head to the "B" side in the back. She is in the building closest to Banister lane, on the south side of the building. Her office is up a flight of stairs once you get inside. Just watch out when you are leaving as there is a stair right outside the door. She is great for ongoing maintenance or acute current pain treatment. Her rates are very fair, especially for the quality of massage you get. You can now book online through her website and you can buy a pack of 4 for a discounted rate. You can also bring your own play list of relaxing music if you want - just ask her about that first so you bring it in the right format!

It is located in a great spot in South Austin. The space is simple in a small shopping center, and it was very clean with nice decor and a modern feel with a cute design. This is not a fancy spa vibe, so if that is your cup of tea, go elsewhere. It was easy to find free parking. The massage itself was good. Maisie did a great job on my back and neck, which is where I asked her to focus. I liked how she used her forearms in addition to her hands to help stretch tight areas. The massage felt rushed, however, and she only used 50 of the 60 minute time slot. I checked my phone before I got on the bed, and we wrapped up in under 50 minutes. Booking with Maisie was really easy through texting to find a time that worked for both of our schedules. She sends great reminders and also offers deals on booking future massages and add-ons. I feel like if I went back to Maisie I would want a 90 minute massage for the whole experience, as it felt more rushed than I would like for some areas of my body like my legs. Her non-Groupon pricing was higher than I could afford to rebook, which was a bummer as in the past I have met my regular massage therapists via Groupon and kept booking with them. She does offer some specials though for booking in advance, so be sure to ask about that if you like her style.
