Be careful about signing up for a membership. Each individual location is franchised, so if you signed up, your membership is linked to that location. I've been a member for 14 years and just learned during a visit that the Georgetown location where I originally signed up is closing today. Both locations have known since August, but no one at this location or Georgetown notified me, just cancelled my account. Any prepaids have been wiped out. This location tried calling Don, but no one has called me back, and if it is their last day, I'm not holding my breath. Apparently, individual owners/managers are not afraid to ruin the reputation of the company. read more

Overall disappointing experience. This was my mother's day gift and a big splurge for me. They cancelled on us last minute yesterday, when I was already on my way, and I agreed to reschedule, they offered 30 free minutes as compensation. Not only did I not get the 30 extra minutes they'd offered, but they took me back a solid 6 or 7 minutes late (10:07ish instead of 10) and then ended it a couple of minutes early (10:58) Overall the massage was nice. But nothing special, and for prenatal massages they just out you on your side on a bolster which is pretty uncomfortable compared to other prenatal massages I've had. Would not recommend even at the Groupon or "first time" rate. Much better options out there. read more

Wow. I'm not normally a spa/ massage kind of guy, but Juanita signed us up for "Couples Massage" a while ago. We've been twice now, and I have to say I'm hooked. I had massages overseas while in the Navy and........OK, never mind. We spend an hour get pressed, flexed and kneaded and it seems like only 10 minutes. The fact that I dozed off both times may accont for this. I tend to carry my tension in my neck and shouders so I have them focus attention on those areas, and both times we've been I've left with both spots feeling loose and relaxed. I have never subscribed to the school of thought that bad sex is better than no sex. If it's mediocre or truly bad, I would prefer to pass and not waste my time. The same thing can be said for massages. While everyone has their personal preferences, I am very particular about what I like. As a self-described "spa junkie," if I am paying someone good money to help me relax, they had certainly better be good at it. If not, don't waste my time. Well, ladies, I can assure you that Larry at Massage Heights does ANYTHING but waste my time. In fact, I refuse to go in for anything less than a two hour session because all I want him to do is spend the first hour rubbing my feet. "Magic Hands" doesn't even begin to describe the experience. For a flowing, non-stop massage that will leave you drifting off to sleep and wiping the drool off of the headrest, call and ask for Larry. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing- very Zen like. The owner, Christine, is a very cool, hip and down to earth chick. Gigi, one of the regular receptionists, is sweet, friendly and always does her best to work me in when I call for a last minute appointment. The prices are more than reasonable and you won't find a better price. I am a regular and will be for a long time to come. read more

I have been a member since Massage Heights opened. I am very active and regular massages keep the aches and pains at bay. Jessica is fabulous at finding those spots and working them out! The owner and all the front staff have always been welcoming and professional. All Covid protocols are being followed and I feel very safe and comfortable going. I didn't even get my massage. This is based purely on the woman in the front. We walk in and there are children watching movies on their phone loudly. We waited 5 minutes for the front desk woman to show up. When she did she was just plain rude. I decided that I was more stressed out just coming in before I even received a massage! Receptionist at this location always seems a bit confused and it took 10-15 min to check out as the payment portal was not working. Larry made up for all of that. Palmer -It's an ok location. Haven't had a GREAT massage therapist. They have all just been ok. The front desk girl that checked us out can not do simple math and wanted us to tip 40% ($84) of a $209 couple message when I tried to explain to her we wanted to tip 20% ($42) of the entire couples massage price ($209) which means each therapist would of gotten 20% tip for each of their services $22ish is 20% of $109 (each massage) Or $42ish Is 20% of $209 (couple massage) but she didn't understand that and thought we should be charged 20% of the entire couples massage TWICE for each therapist... therefore we tipped about 40%.. luckily we can afford to do that so I wasn't going to argue with the girl who couldn't do simple math.... we will go to another location because I don't feel like being talked to like I don't know what I'm (the customer) is talking about after a message and not 100% all there..... read more

I am so disappointed in my service. I work a very stressful job, and lately its been so busy that i've started to have the worst back pain, to the point where i cant even sleep at night. Now, I'm not new to massage therapy, i've had several massages in the past, and they always seemed to help so much. Well, this location was very close to my work and i was interested in trying it out so I booked a one hour massage online with Beata, and i can honestly say i will not ever be returning. First off, i arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, and when it was already after my appointment start time i was told my therapist was running late, so i said thats fine. When she finally greeted me it was well past 5 minutes after my start time, she greeted me and proceeded to walk back into the spa without me. Was i supposed to follow?? i had no idea where she was going, i'd never been there before, and she didnt wait for me to follow her at all. When i finally found her at her room, she spend an additional 5-10 minutes rigorously going over my intake form. She pointed out every little thing i did wrong, misread or if i put something down that i "didnt actually mean, but rather meant 'this'". Listen, I work in the service industry, i know how consults work and the way she spoke to me i felt like she wasnt even listening to me, nor wanted to perform the massage in the first place- I tried explaining to her what pain i had, where it was and exactly where i wanted the focus to be in my massage- which was lower back, legs and glutes. I specifically declined my shoulder area as it wasnt bothering me at the time, and i wanted majority of the time spent in the pain areas. She did none of that. Instead she spend the majority of the time on my shoulders and back, and when she got to my lower back and the actual problem areas, she lightened her pressure immensely and spend maybe 10-15 minutes in that entire area. Needless to say, i left in the same exact amount of pain i went in with, and i ended up crying on my way home because i just wasted my money and got no relief from it. My reccommendation, dont book online if it's your first time, and if you have actual problem areas or like firm/deep pressure DONT book with Beata. It'll just be a waste of your time. read more

The owner is happy to help you find the best therapist to address your body's needs. He and I have different needs...he likes deep tissue and 'aggressive' massage...I like a gentler, more relaxed touch. Always friendly, always professional. I have used this Massage Heights location for over 10 years now. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Chris is the massage therapist I currently use and he is awesome. I recently had an issue with cronic tendonitis in an elbow. I had received two cortisone injections that didn't work and had been seeing a physical therapist for the issue for months. I called to get an appointment and explained my situation. The receptionist recommended Chris so I booked with him. Chris is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to work on, including my neck and shoulder, not just my elbow. After just one visit with Chris, my elbow improved. I continued to see Chris every week along with my physical therapy and within a month, my elbow was almost back to normal. I like deep tissue massages because I work out a lot. Chris gives a great massage and is very friendly. read more

Worst massage I ever had. Worst experience in a massage place ever. Larry was my massage therapist (if you even can call him that). The whole session was awful. There was no pampering at all, no nice words, no offering of the complementary aromatherapy (I found that out after the massage, from an other customer!) and the massage was mediocre at best. Talked to Christine (the owner!) and she blamed me for not having a good time, her words..."sorry you're just not a good match for Larry, and if you want pampering you need to go to a spa". I also told her that I got a headache in the evening and she told me nobody can get a headache from a massage (lol). My whole left side was hurting the next day, (I didn't get a deep tissue massage) the pain went all the way down to my arm, but again...Christine told me that was my fault...not exactly sure how that could be my fault though. I could finally get her to agree to refund me my money, but not before she told me to find another place to get a massage...could not agree more with her on that In short...mediocre massage, unfriendly atmosphere, rude and unprofessional owner! read more

Worst Prenatal Massages: I'll keep the review short, This was the worst prenatal massage I've had. The tables are not designed for pregnant women, you are provided a rolled up towel for your head and a pillow to place between your legs. You will support yourself the entire time which makes it difficult to enjoy the side that is being worked on. The massage therapist I had talked the ENTIRE time, even when not responding she continued to talk. The topic of conversations consists of horror child labor storied, "coke babies", and her own experiences as a mother. She was a sweet enough lady, but didn't have the greatest edict.I would never go back pregnant or not. If you are an expecting mother, I would recommend making the drive to "Bloomings" on Brodie, they have amazing prenatal massages. read more

My wife really wanted to do a couples massage so I figured why not. A few years back I would get a deep tissue massage maybe once every 2 months at my local spa. Since neither my wife or I have ever used a massage heights before we were eligible for a discounted rate at a fraction of the price of spas I have gone to. Let me tell you that you get what you pay for. My masseuse asked if I had any trouble areas and I explained that I have lower back pain with bulging torn disks and if she could concentrate on that. 1st is that I have never had a deep tissue massage so painful I almost had to tell her to stop. 2nd is that she didn't even touch the bottom 1/4 of my back where the pain was. She didn't massage my feet or touch my my arms below the elbow. This was the 1st massage I walked away from where it was not in any way an enjoyable experience. These places may work for some but I will give it a pass. read more
