This location is HORRIBLE! Do not waste your money on going there or on a particular masseuse named Alyssa! I got my wife a massage, specifically a deep tissue massage, and Alyssa had the nerve to tell my wife that she doesn't do deep tissue massages. She was also 10 minutes late taking my wife back for her appointment and stopped the massage 10 minutes before the hour we had paid for was over. Horrible masseuse and horrible location! The front desk staff is very unfriendly and unpleasant, as if they genuinely dislike their jobs. After the horrendous massage Alyssa provided for my wife, she then told the front desk staff that my wife needed to come back to get all the knots out of her back! That's why she went to Massage Envy and wanted a deep-tissue massage in the first place. Do not waste your money at Massage Envy! There are plenty of other massage salons to visit that provide exceptional services. The next day, we had to schedule an appointment at a competitor's massage salon and received what we paid for. Alyssa and the front desk staff also try to upsell you multiple add-ons to the massage service, including a membership, which is a joke! Please don't waste your money on anything they try to upsell you. My wife paid for a massage lotion that Alyssa was supposed to use, but she didn't even use the lotion that my wife paid for. Alyssa put no effort or energy into my wife's massage! When Alyssa finished, she just got up and walked out of the room, not saying goodbye to my wife, bringing her water, or even walking her out to the exit. Horrible service! I went next door for meni-pedi and came back. it's said 30 minutes, started at 3.34pm and the lady left to answer the door about 5 minutes. She came back and massaged me again and the door rang again, and she left again for a couple minutes. It happened 3 times. 3.59 She said it's 30 minutes already. What the fudge??? I love a good facial and try to treat myself to them several times a year. I had a 90 minute facial with Perla this past Saturday and I she was spectacular! I especially loved her enthusiastic attitude for her craft and making me feel so well cared for. My face was glowing afterwards and still is. I only wish massage envy would get more comfortable tables. I came here for a couples massage. Everything was going great until I looked up and saw the two men tapping on their wrist and looking up at the clocks. I understand you are on a time limit but that doesn't make anyone feel good. That ruined the whole experience and this was my bf first massage and at that a couples massage! Try to be more aware of the surroundings, just because customers have their head face down doesn't mean they aren't seeing what's going on. People want to feel respect and appreciated when the come to a business. Not disrespected and as an inconvenience. And the best part was I gave both the employees a nice tip even after all of that because I won't ever be back. Had my first facial appointment here today and am very impressed! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful upon arriving. I chose a 60 minute facial and decided to add a neck/chest massage as well. Kassandra was my esthetician for the day and she is very polite and knowledgeable. After talking with me about my skin, and showing me the condition of my skin under a lamp, she suggested I try the eye treatment instead and it was AMAZING. My dark circles were GONE afterwards! Very unhappy. I took off work to have a pamper day since the kids have gone back to school and I get a call at 8:35 that my 9 o'clock appointment is canceled due to there therapist not making it in. I understand things happen but there should be a back up plan. I was asking for some sort of discount on my next massage and I was told that they could give me a free enhancement and reschedule for a time that my kids are out of school. My very first visit wasn't all that good. I came from a massage envy in Arizona which I loved, after a session we old receive a paper with areas that were worked on, as well as information. With a cup of water to hydrate. My first visit at the clinic I felt kind of out of place and how the staff were treating me as if I had never been there before. I notified them I had been a member since 2014. I requested a massage for 1 hour 1/2. I received a 1hr massage. The guy that completed my massage did it so hard that when he was working on my back I could hardly breath. I told him pressure was too hard but it continued. The following day I was in pain and had bruises on my hips and back. (I've always had deep tissue massages in Arizona, but I have never bruised). When I called bout my hour and a half massage the woman told me that the time that we get there and get undressed in counted in the massage time. A bit disappointed. This was the fist time that I left a massage envy unsatisfied. October 3, 2015 I tried it again. The masseuse was awesome and took her time I felt that I was compete afterwards. I have a Massage Envy membership and called this location to schedule appointments for my daughter and myself. I was curtly told by Carrie who answered the phone that I was bothering her by calling "at the top of the hour." After attempting again to get our appointments scheduled, she proceeded to tell me that "maybe this wasn't the best location for me" as she could not pull up my daughter's membership information and I was trying to clarify the information. I spoke with the manager and while trying to explain the situation to him, I received a notification that she had taken the liberty to cancel my appointment. The manager did not seem the least bit concerned about the absolute poor customer service given by his employee and was told that he does not need my business either. I have visited multiple Massage Envy's in other states and can absolutely say that this is the worst location with such poor management and customer service. Horrible customer service. The franchise owner was so rude and instead of admitting she was wrong she cancelled my 4 accounts that I have had for over 3 years. She wouldn't return my phone calls so I had to go down to the establishment during quarantine. She blamed it on account services in Alaska!?! She tried talking to me through the door and when I told her I couldn't hear her if she could call me she refused. She called the cops on me because I was still sitting in the parking lot in my truck trying to reach corporate headquarters for assistance. A true example of an adult bully and will gladly take your money, not allow you to have 1 1/2 appts because she has so many clients, cancel your appointments that you had a month and a half out and now this. I tolerated the poor customer service for too long because I had credits to use. Lesson learned. I do not recommend Massage Envy of Schertz not New Braunfels (since she runs both) because of poor customer service and bad business practices. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! The only reason I gave them one star is because it would not allow me to leave zero stars! Just another example of their dishonest practices. My complaint: My husband spent $210 on me for Mother's Day. He received a $60 gift card and supposedly a voucher for $150 towards three facials. He does not recall receiving the voucher. When we inquired at Massage Envy the manager (Catherine) told us that it was a pink card stock voucher. When I questioned whether or not my husband had actually received the voucher, she stated that she would check into it. Then we received a call that the video tapes were reviewed and that they could verify my husband was given the voucher. When I asked to see the video, the manager said she would have to talk to the owner and set up a time for me to view the tape. When I received a callback, I was in a meeting and could not answer my phone. However, I had a voicemail from Greg (the owner I'm assuming). He said he reviewed the tapes and that my husband was seen going out the door with the voucher in hand. He also stated that they do not replace vouchers that are lost or stolen and that no further action would be taken on this matter ( poor choice of words Greg) When I called back to speak with him and ask to see the tape, I was told he had just left. how convenient.... If the videotape shows that my hubby was given the voucher, then prove it. I mean who's to say an employee didn't help themselves to the voucher....? IF proof is shown that hubby received it and lost it, then why not void that particular voucher ( so no one can use it) and issue a new one.. by the way... I will not be using the $60 gift card for the massage as I do not wish to do business with dishonest individuals. We are already out $150 anyway so why not give up the other $60. read more

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! High pressure sales, a massage therapist that was coughing and sneezing all over me the entire time with persistent body odor. Then he only massage half of my body and he had an hour and a 1/2 to do a full body. I emailed corporate as well as the branch where I went for my massage in both ignored my complaint. I have been a member for a couple years now, they make scheduling appointments very easy. I went through a few therapists before I found one that I loved and now she is the only one I see and they are great about making sure I'm always with the therapist I like. The location is great and the building is always super clean and pretty. It is a bit pricey, and if you ever have an emergency come up and need to reschedule your appointment, they are pretty unforgiving and will always charge you. Thankfully it's only happened to me once. Otherwise, having a membership is pretty simple and worth having. read more

I was very excited for my massage, compliments of my husband for our anniversary. My appt time was 2:30pm for a 90 minute massage. Arnold finally pulled me back between 2:45-2:50pm. I asked him to lighten his pressure but now unfortunately I have the bruises on my back/shoulders to prove he did not! I also asked him to focus on upper body and feet only, he did not even touch my arms or hands once. His focus was my left side/shoulder (where I have most of the bruises). My massage ended at 3:58pm, I looked at the clock before dressing. So $160 later for a "90" minute massage.. I have bruises, can't lay on my left shoulder, and didn't receive the relaxation my husband booked for me. Neither of us are happy! read more

I don't think they even compare to Massage Heights! I got a gift card for their place and called to make an appointment. They wanted me to give them a credit card number to even make the appointment. As I am currently going through the hassle of credit card fraud right now, I didn't want to do that. The ONLY way I could even get an appointment to use the FREE gift card for 30 minutes and add on the other 30 minutes to make an hour without giving them a credit card number and risk more people getting my NEW credit card number was to take time to drive over there and give them the gift card "for safe keeping" and also actually pay for the other 1/2 hr in advance by buying a second gift card. Oh, did I mention that they had to keep that gift card too. I did ask for a receipt for the gift cards. If they don't trust me to show up, why on earth would they think I would trust them with either my gift card or my credit card number. I signed up for a year long membership. I needed to end my membership at the end of the term due to financial difficulties, so I scheduled my appointment for the last day of my membership. I received a call that day, and they said my therapist had to cancel. I explained to the front desk personnel that this is my last day of membership, and I couldn't make it another time. They told me they had an appointment in the evening and suggested I should take it or it sounded like I'd risk losing my last appointment ...so I said I'll try. Unfortunately, I was unable to make the appointment. I called to speak to management to see what we could do. I explained the situation to the manager who consulted with the franchise owner. The manager relayed that the franchise owner wouldn't honor my last session, even though their therapist was the one that canceled the original session...and the desk personnel told me taking a later same day appointment was basically my only option (without any regard to my schedule). -------------------------------------------------------------- 7/31/18 Update: My issue has been resolved. The franchise owner reached out to me and arranged a meeting to hear out my complaint. He was quite pleasant and receptive to my feedback. He apologized, and explained that this issue shouldn't have progressed as far as it did, to which I agreed. Also, I came to realize he actually didn't know about my issue for over a week after it happened, which is an unfortunate communication error by management. I'm glad this issue was resolved, and in the process I was able to provide constructive feedback on customer service/communication practices. My confidence has been restored in Massage Envy, I would absolutely give them another try in the future. read more
