I really wanted to like this place, especially since they're a 5 minute drive away. I called when they opened to see if they had any opening for a 1 hr couples massage. There was a language barrier, but I managed to get scheduled for a 10:30 am appt. I also asked how much the massage would be, and the lady said it was $110 total. When we got there we were brought in to the couples massage room and the lady said we had to pay upfront, which is an unusual practice in my book, but whatever, we paid. However, the total was $125. Even if tax was included to the $110 she mentioned an hour earlier on the phone, it still wouldn't equal to $125. So that was odd, I wonder how she got to that total. The massage was okay. Pressure was inconsistent, she would be soft in some areas and painful in others. My hubby said his massage was not bad. Also, they only gave us a 50 minute massage instead of 60. So I was kinda peeved that she charged extra than what she mentioned over the phone and that we were short changed 10 minutes. We won't be back. Came back when it needed a pin for my card. I double checked my card after to make sure I wasn't ripped off. No towel to cover me plus they made me be naked which was strange to me at least. I went in a couple weekends ago for a prenatal massage, I had called earlier in the day to make an appointment and they were very accommodating (I was wanting a same day appointment). Upon arrival I was greeted by a very sweet woman, who I assume is the owner, unfortunately I didn't get her name. The environment was relaxing, comfortable, and the massage was fantastic. Oh my gosh. Hands down the best massage I have ever had and my masseuse had the softest hands I've ever felt lol. They were so nice and accommodating. They took us same day for a couples massage. We did the 70 minute combo massage and it was worth every penny! If you're looking for a clinical type massage this is not it, it's so much better haha if you wanna get the best bang for your buck and to walk out of there feeling like a million bucks this is the place! They used hot stones and moist heat, they stretched us and I don't even know how to describe just how fantastic is was haha you need to just experience it for yourself. The Swan Spa is kind of tucked away at one end of a commercial building. But Wow when you open the door and enter, it's very bright and tastefully decorated. I am very impressed with the decor and the pleasant reception. It is obvious that the owner wants her customers to feel welcome and comfortable. My back is one matted mess of tight knots so I requested a deep massage. The masseuse knew exactly where to concentrate her strength and when to go easy. Very professional, courteous, and concerned that the massage was just right. Definitely recommend the Swan Spa as a place to go. read more

I try to come here twice a month because getting massages is great for muscle recovery when working out. I visited Swan Spa this morning before playing golf to help get loosened up. I was greeted quickly and after telling what I needed was ushered into a massage room. The massage was excellent and included hot towels and stones in addition to the great massage. The rooms were clean and best of all my therapist did not clock watch. Was having some major neck and shoulder tension and needed a place that would take same day appointments- so I gave this place a shot. Such a cute little set up, very clean and cozy. Lee, my masseuse, was very professional and accommodated my request for prenatal massage (I'm 5 months pregnant). They had relaxing lighting and soothing music, I could hear a little of what the other reviewer mentioned about Zumba music next door but it was buffered by the relaxing music in my room. This was an odd experience. I wanted a same day appointment which they accommodated so kudos. When I arrived the location looked a bit sketchy. In the sense that's, it's in a strip mall next to an apartment complex that I would bet are section 8. The lobby is nice though, and the customer service was decent giving the language disconnect. The masassage though, it was weird...definelty a Chineese art rather than the Swedish style i'm used too. Overall it was alright though for the price. In a pinch I would proably go back. read more

I've lived in the Schertz/Cibolo area for over 20 years and I just recently discovered Swan Spa on FM 78. I'm so glad I did. I've been four times in the past few months for really bad shoulder and neck tension and daily headaches. I've seen Kewalin all four times and she is amazing! She is very petite but also very strong. She applies as much pressure as can be comfortably tolerated. She goes above and beyond to make sure I leave there feeling much better than when I arrived. My tension headaches are completely gone when I leave there and the relief lasts for a few weeks. They are very accommodating with their schedules also. Another reviewer commented about their location being next to section 8 apartments. Those apartments have been there for a very long time and I can't recall ever hearing anything bad happening there. The strip center where Swan Spa is has a quilt shop, awesome pizza place, and an exercise studio. It's an older complex but it's very clean. Swan Spa is also extremely clean and has a very relaxing atmosphere. read more
