I've come to this location many times and have been underwhelmed with the level of massage I get. This led to me cancelling my membership. I felt I wasn't getting what I was paying for. I had credit I needed to use and went in yesterday. I was placed with Bobby. Whoa! This guy knew his stuff. He delivered on everything I asked and was really knowledgeable. He even pointed out and worked some parts on my back I didn't even realize were tight. If they could duplicate him, I would pay any price! I've never had any issues here. Great location, parking is easy. Very clean and relaxing space. All the therapists I have had have been excellent. They call me each month to remind me to make my appointment. I was surprised at the low star ratings, and after reading the reviews I see why. Please be sure to read all the reviews. It's disappointing that people are so quick to go on Yelp and blast businesses for errors that are not directly the fault of the business. These membership style business models are not new. I would think by now, people would know that if you sign up for a membership anywhere, and sign a contract, there is a monthly commitment for a certain length of time. Perhaps if people were more in tune with their financials and read what they were signing they wouldn't be so surprised about the auto billing. How else do you think companies can offer a $60 massage. If you don't want to commit, then pay $100 someplace else and pay as you go. and the comment relating to the FSA... it's just like if you go into your Dr's office for a service, they always give the disclaimer "we don't know exactly what insurance will cover, blah blah blah." It's not the vendors obligation to know what type of documentation a customer's benefits administrator is going to require. This could have been avoided by a simple phone call into the plan administrator by the customer. Just saying... people are not holding themselves accountable and placing blame on the business. and no, i'm not affiliated with massage envy nor do I know people who work there. I can't speak for every massage therapist but I did see a MT named Analus that gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I left work early bc of lower back pain and she healed it, I swear. I was a new man walking out of there. She noticed the tightness was in my glutes and worked it out. She was unbelievable . Can't rate 5 stars bc it's still a Massage Envy and overall I don't feel it worthy. Analus would be getting 6 stars! read more

I have been to this location a few times, Marissa and Keisha have been very good, Keisha was my last therapist and did an absolutely amazing job! The time flew by so fast and she knew exactly the amount of pressure to use, I'm looking forward to my next visit and I hope to do a hot stone with an hour and a half massage. Just like with a hair stylist or barber, you kind of have to look around until you find one that you enjoy. Same goes for massage therapists, look for one until you find a good match for you. read more

Honestly I was very skeptical about coming to this location because of the reviews but it was the only location around me that could schedule me in for a facial and massage today and I was not disappointed at all, environment was clean my massage and facial were amazing and customer service was great. Don't sign up!! Its a scam and the company is just about the membership and money, their actions show they really don't care about your well being and physical health. Its a bummer because this would be a great model for a lot of people who truly need this during a stressful year and massages can get pricey. I had a similar experience to the other reviews; I put a freeze on for COVID, then they automatically started it back up, I had a lot of credits, tried to get in and there weren't a lot of available times, then they said I had quit and my credits were no longer good because it was over 90 days. I had not quit but they knew I was trying to quit and therefore lied and said that I had quit last time I called. Instead of calling and being in touch about the credits and being a responsible business to their clients and work to fix the issue they only wanted to get my credit card back on file and they used my credits (that I had already paid for, mind you) as the carrot to get back into the program. It felt super shady and so I just said "forget it" and moved on because I knew there would be another issue in the future. The whole process was horrible in every way. They will find a way to keep your money but not offer you the services you want or need. Don't go here. read more

I've been to a number of ME locations through the years and ordinarily you see a lot of therapist turnover. I've been happy to see that's not the case at this location. Have tried a number of therapists here and they've all been great for different purposes. Sammy is my go-to guy though. He focuses where I need it most and has been helpful with both sciatic pain as well as releasing a pinched nerve in my neck where I carry all of my stress. He's amazing - whether relaxation or deep pressure, Sammy takes good care of me! Check him out, just don't take my time slot! Lol read more

I wish I could give zero stars, but that's not an option so I'm giving a pity 1 star. I was gifted a massage from a friend and I booked it a least a week prior. I received my confirmation call yesterday and this morning I was getting ready to leave my house and received a phone call from the manager. Keep in mind my appointment was scheduled for 12pm and I was told to come in 15 minutes prior. So I received a call at 11:32 saying that my gift was not credited because it expired (which I had no idea about since it was a gift and no one notified me at the time I made my appointment) and I can either pay the 49.99 or cancel. So clearly I canceled. Maybe if you would have notified me sooner than 28 minutes prior to my massage that had been scheduled for a full week then I would have considered paying. It is totally unprofessional to wait that long to notify anyone. I understand that if it's a policy you have to abide, but really... 28 minutes before you're going to notify me? And in a rude manner without offering any other option than paying the entire price. It was their mistake, not mine, so why am I the one being treated like I made a mistake? Such poor customer service I'm glad I didn't come in now and waste my time. read more

Worst experience at a massage envy ever. From the moment my boyfriend and I walked in for our couples massage it was horrible. We were given forms to fill out to help customize our sessions, then we were taken back to the relaxation room, where the front desk girl proceeded to "customize" our session even more. She was asking us questions that we had already filled out on the paper, and while she was doing this there was another client in the relaxation room as well, that was hearing all of our answers. Not that they were very personal questions, but what if the were and she was trying to relax and was having to hear all of our answers, I felt bad for her. And then to top it off, my boyfriends massage therapist disregarded what he put on the form. He said no feet, and the therapist worked on his feet, so what's the point of filling out the form if the therapist won't pay attention to it. Also the front desk girl asked me four times if I wanted an add on, and four times I said no, one no should have been good enough. Would never go back to this location. read more

The last few months, I've been dealing with a lot of back and neck pain; therefore, I felt like it was time to unwind with a massage. I can be apprehensive towards massages though since I feel like most the time my therapist doesn't listen to what I want. I feel like I end up wasting my time and money. My mentality changed though, once I went to the Massage Envy in Arcadia and met my therapist, Robert. I told him the areas I wanted to focus on, how my back and neck were my main concert, and the type of massage I was looking for. He listened to my concerns, did exactly as I asked and I left feeling brand new. I requested a deep tissue massage and he gave me the most exceptional massage I have ever had. Apparently there are two Roberts at this location, though, so ask for the younger one, Rob W. if you're in the market for a great massage. He won't disappoint - extremely thorough and will listen to you clearly. He did everything I asked for and more and I couldn't be any happier with my experience. I will be seeing him on the reg from here on out! My entire time at this location was incredible because my therapist was off the charts. Go see Rob W, he won't disappoint. I had the best massage & feel so much better. I have been a member for many years going to the one on Camelback & 16th St. Which is great. This facility on 32nd & Indian School happens to be closer to me, making it even more convenient. Personally, I consider massages a very healthy thing to do for yourself with the many health advantages it has to offer. Prices are reasonable & the massage therapists that I have had, have all been great. Keisha is outstanding ! Having arthritis in my spine, I treated myself to a two hour, deep muscle massage that included hot towels & Bio Freeze along with some great stretches. Keisha, really knows her stuff & worked hard to release all the tension and soreness I had come in with. I consider Massage Envy a great investment for some me time which we all deserve. Being a member & having the monthly fee taken out once a month, gives me that little nudge needed as a reminder to take care of myself. Works for me!
